Description of Work: Replace basement window. Wrong screen delivered. Had to follow up several times to get correct screen delivered/installed.

Description of Work: They did an awesome job! We got a new tub and surround and it's beautiful! They arrived on time and left at the time they said they would. All work done in 1 day and cleaned up after themselves. I did have to call them the next night due to a faucet joint leak and received a call back within 5 minutes and they were there the next morning to fix it. We got the Bonzai Rain Maker shower and it's everything the promised! Very Happy!

Description of Work: Replaced 2 windows (kitchen and bedroom). Service was handled professionally, the team cleaned up after themselves, no issues with the windows since then. Would recommend their service, despite their prices being higher than I would like.

Description of Work: We responded to a GasCard promo for demonstration of windows. Salesman did show on time and we cutoff 'dog&pony show'. "I'll be back," - after call to the office - blah, blah - "here's a price I can 'work with' - but don't tell the office I gave you a price yet!" End of interview, end of contact. We did get our promo in the mail after taking the form right to the office.

Description of Work: In 2009 we needed all new windows for our just purchased ca 1950s built home. We came across one of Mad City Windows'ads for a "House Full of Windows for $1500" (or something like that). A sales rep came out and said he wasn't even going to show us the $1500 windows ,,, we needed the double pane, low-e, extended warranty and so on and so on. We ended up spending something like $5500 on the better windows. The two dudes that did the installation were kind of sketchy looking but seemed to do an OK job. They were a little sloppy (B for professionalism) and made small rips in some of the screens but when we pointed that out to the Mad City people someone else came out and fixed it right away. | |The windows they offer are not Pella quality but they were big improvement over what we had and they were what we could afford at the time. Call it a C for quality. We'll give them an A's for Punctuality, Price and Responsiveness. Just a little under two years after the install one of the windows failed (the argon gas leaked out and mold was developing between the double panes). We called the Mad City people and they delivered and installed a replacement as soon as one could be made (not more than a couple of weeks of I remember correctly). We haven't experienced any problems since. We'll certainly go with higher quality, nicer looking (ours are just basic white vinyl) windows in the future. I am not sure if Mad City offers any of the better brands but if they did we'd consider using them again. So B overall. |

Description of Work: High pressure sales tactics,3 hour window sales pitch. Salesman would not leave when asked and grabbed my arm to demonstrate high pressure when I told him I felt pressured. Estimates started at$25,000 and ended up @ $16,000.

Description of Work: We wanted a new shower installed with a seat. When they installers arrived we were told that what we ordered would not work to allow a wheelchair to get into the bathroom. We had to have the bathroom reconfigured. The installers were all extremely professional and did quality work. The final product is wonderful and we love our new bath, however, the scheduling was so messed up and poorly communicated to us that it was not a good experience.
