Description of Work: Two of the movers argued to the point that one of them had to leave. The use of profanity was being shouted in the neighborhood. It was unacceptable and embarassing.

Description of Work: Two polite hardworking movers, right on time, pleasant, efficiently loaded my furniture. But when we got to the new place things went awry. The process took two hours longer than estimated. The next day I discovered a box of books set on top of a box marked "fragile," a carton in the basement marked "living room" and a closet of tangled hangers with clothes falling off and two torn garment bags. The issue was simply that the there was too much stuff to fit. But not a word, clothing just jammed in. Also a broken lamp, and when I called to complain I was told it was my fault - I should have requested that it be boxed. Overall, very disappointing.

I spoke with [member name removed] regarding her issues that she had on her move day. The men worked on her move for near 9 hours, which was about 2 hours (near $200) over the estimate, . The men did mistakenly but a couple boxes of the near 100 that she had in the wrong room. The men do try the hardest to get each and every box in the correct, place but unfortunately , sometime mistakes happen. I discussed with [member name removed], that our policy and liability statements clearly state that for us to insure any lamps and other fragile pieces they would need to be boxed by us. We can't assume that every customer wants to pay the additional cost for this service, so we state that we highly suggest using them, and to notify us if you would like us to bring them along. [member name removed] was never told that it was her fault, but simply what our policy was, and why we would not cover the damage to the her lamp We did however, in the interest of good customer service, send [member name removed] a refund check for $120.00, for the cost over the estimate and inconvenience to her. At the time that I spoke with her, she happily accepted the $120, and seemed satisfied.
