They arrived on time, loaded in the estimated time, drove to the new place and got there before we did, unloaded on time and on budget.

I called based on reviews online. I spoke with a friendly gentlemen who tried to help on the phone until we both agreed we would be better off with a site visit to provide an estimate. The gentleman to provide the estimate arrived on time, was quite congenial, helped me work out the schedule and sent me the official estimate the next morning. The estimator kindly dropped by the packing materials early to allow me time to complete some more packing on my own. There was some confusion the day of the packing about scheduling. I thought we had set a specific afternoon start with an option for me to push it back depending on how much I had accomplished in the previous days. I called to push it back and was told that we had no specific time and the movers would arrive whenever they finished their first task of the day which upset my coordinated schedule for the day quite a bit. In the end they actually arrived at the originally scheduled time but the communication issue and the general demeanor of the dispatcher when I called about the schedule was off-putting. The movers packed efficiently though they didn't use the original manufacturer's packaging materials that I requested they use for some of my dishes. They moved swiftly and were clearly focused on completing the task -- in no way "killing time" as some might have. They arrived promptly the next morning at the scheduled time and went straight to work packing and moving the boxes and furniture. I was somewhat surprised to discover that these movers don't blanket furniture prior to moving, but prefer to blanket and protect in the truck. Granted much of my furniture was already quite "experienced" but the stairwell and hallway were less so. They did blanket a couple of special pieces as I requested but I was somewhat surprised to have to ask at this price point. That and a failure to do a final walkthrough to identify the two drawers and cabinet that had been missed account for the B in quality. They moved furniture and boxes into my new home efficiently and only a few small boxes were misplaced. (probably fewer than could be expected with the number of items being moved) They finished well under the original time estimate saving me a good sum and were friendly throughout the process.

The move was set up a couple weeks in advance. The movers were supposed to show up between 12 and 3, depending on the prior move. I had my truck ready at noon and never received a phone call regarding an approximate arrival time. I finally called the office and was told the movers would be an hour late-- it would have been nice to know that before 2:30. I later found out that 4 moves had been scheduled for that afternoon - all using the same 2 guys. Luckily, the men worked hard and were able to complete the move in the time allotted (1 1/2 hours).

Wonderfully. This was a two day move that took about 9 hours total. The first day they had 2 guys who were very nice. They laid down runners (because we moved when there was snow on the ground) - and did their best not to get the carpets muddied. The second day we had 3 guys, which increased the overall hourly cost, but was worth it because the off-load went so quick.

First of all, we moved on the coldest day of the year. I DID offer to change the date to a more temperate winter day but the owner wouldn't have it. Plus we had more boxes of books than estimated. So the three guys came and - well, I can imagine they weren't very happy, but they handled everything professionally, quickly, and with a great sense of humor. We gave them the biggest tip that we could afford, and I wish it could have been more.

The move was easily arranged from the first estimate through some rescheduling on our part to completing the job in good time. The two moving men were prompt, friendly, careful, professional and made the process enjoyable. The office staff were also accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.

It went pretty well. The 3 men showed up on time & worked pretty hard through the day. We have very heavy Amish-made solid wood furniture. All furniture was wrapped & protected. They laid down runners at the doorways. It was a little more than I was expecting, but the guys did a pretty good job. The only complaint is 1 of the guys dropped a box on our basement steps & dented the floor. We also ordered boxes. When I called to inquire about them, Roger came out & dropped them off himself within the hour.

The estimate was less than $1200, but the bill was over $1800. They were supposed to show up at 8:00am, but they showed up at 9:00am. When they did show up, they were professional, fast, careful, and courteous.

The company gave us a good estimate up front and performed the move with great care in less time than they estimated. The two men who performed the move were on time, very friendly, and professional.
