Description of Work: Set traps only in the front yard. Caught some of the squirrels. Charged $500 and left the others squirrels there. That"s a lot of moneto have FEWER squirrels in my house!

Description of Work: I was incredibly impressed with the owner, who performed my services. He was polite, professional, and worked around my very busy schedule, coming out the morning after I called (I had called late afternoon). I felt very comfortable letting him into my home and I felt like he was thorough and highly knowledgable. He let me ask all sorts of questions and answered each one with patience and respect, even when I asked the same question a few times. I appreciated his respectful demeanor.

Description of Work: We called Kwik Kill to deal with a persistent mouse infestation in our country home we have had for 23 years. We had tried to deal with it ourselves, but each year field mice would make their way back in. In November we could hear lots of activity in the ceilings of two levels of our home. By December it seemed to get worse. We believed at this point we needed a professional to deal with this problem once and for all. Ryan found approximately 10 small openings on the outside of our home we did not know existed. He plugged them and then set his bait in the attic where there was obvious evidence of mice and set up traps in the basement in the garage, where he also plugged entrances we did not see. Within in about 10 days we did not hear any more activity. The really nice thing was we had no smell of dying mice as we had in the past. 3 weeks later Ryan came back to see if the mice had made new holes and checked the traps to see if the mice were feeding. To our surprise and delight, plugging the entrances did the trick. The baits weren't even touched so no more mice...this year. We are going to have Kwik Kill come back each year for preventative mice control. Only regret is that we didn't call them a very long time ago. We are very happy with their service and recommend them highly.

 + -1 moreMy sister told me about her "bug guy" about 2 years ago when I was complaining about the number of obnoxious smelly Asian Beetles in my house in the dead of winter. I decided I would give Kwik Kill a call and I got on their maintenance program because we live in an old farm house which has its share of spiders, earwigs, box elders etc. I had never had a bug guy before so the price felt kind of hefty, but I was tired of the bugs so I decided to do it. I felt comfortable with them right away. They always call ahead and let you know they are planning their routine stops. They are well dressed, well groomed and in a decent vehicle. The kind of guys you feel ok about letting in your house. That's really important. The one thing they always told me was I should let them know if there were any trouble areas between visita because they would come back and spray again if necessary. Here is what really impressed me. Last year I developed a bee allergy and had some pretty scary symptoms after I got stung. So when I started noticing bees IN MY HOUSE I got really nervous and it was so strange, because there were lots of them. I would kill a few and moments later there would be more. I remembered what Ryan said so I called him to let him know my concerns and to ask if he could come to spray. This was on a Friday afternoon and I just happened to be off work so I was hoping I could get him to come that day because it was convenient for me. When I called he said "Im glad you called when you did, I was just ready to leave town to go fishing with my buddy and I will swing by on my way out". WOW....who does that?!?! I felt bad but he assured me it was no problem. He came, he sprayed and a few days later my husband went into the basement to get something and we were surprised to find literally thousands of dead bees on the floor. We discovered they had built a nest in a crack in the foundation of the house. I don't want to be overdramatic, but that visit.....as promised......could have saved my life. They did exactly what they said they would and he was cheerful about it. Great customer service is everything to me. They have a loyal customer and I will brag them up to anyone!

The proof of good results in this case is the complete absence of what you don't want to see and we don't see ants or spiders, or anything else noxious around the house. They also have treated ant-hill activity near our garden with complete success. These guys are knowledgable, responsive, and the stuff the use is effective.

 + -1 moreThey were good and call with reminders. They come out once a year and it lasts for all seasons. I remembered when I found ants in my house and tried to take care of them myself, it was like an up field battle. So I liked that they called and remaindered me so that I do not get in that position. They were very courteous and come when I am not home because they do not need to come in. They trust me and just send me a bill and I send them a check. So it was all very convenient. I did not want to know what anyone was charging I just did not want them inside the house. They did not leave chemical and residue around because I have cats and grandchildren. They came out the same day.
Description of Work: I used Kwik Kill Pest Control to kill ants on the outside so they cannot go in the house.

 + -1 moreThey showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. The job only took about 1/2 an hour and must have worked because I haven't noticed any new pests. I signed up for the quarterly service for $95 a visit. This is my first exterminator so I don't know how competitive the price is, but they did a good job and it is worth it to me. I would recommend this service since they did great work, and it's a local company so it keeps your money here in WI.
