Harker Heating & Cooling set out in 1949 to provide our customers with the very best quality heating and cooling services available in Madison, WI. Together with our staff, vendors, friends and family, we’ve been able to sustain a company that has always been focused on our customer’s needs. For this to happen we hold firm in the importance of supporting and taking good care of our staff. We believe in a quote from Simon Sinek, who wrote, “Customers will never love a company until the employees love it first.” It all starts at the core. From there, after more than 60 years serving Dane County, gratefully, we’re able to continue the journey.

Description of Work: Furnace blower suddenly making roaring sound ??? Prompt response from Harker, quick diagnosis: left-behind, loose plastic/metal from furnace installation several years ago -- by another company. I'd call Harker back any time.

Went very well.
Description of Work: As part of our 2 story addition heating was added. Harker did a great job getting heat to both levels. They were able to get around some very difficult areas such as a stone wall . They were always pleasant, on time, responsive and clean.

Description of Work: My a/c was not blowing cool air. Mike from Harker checked it all out and couldn't find a leak so tried charging the unit with new "gas." This unit is probably original to the home (1976) but I was hoping to get it through the summer. Mike said it could stay charged for a year or just a week, there was no way to tell. Less than a week later the cool air stopped again. After getting an estimate on Monday, installation was set up for the next morning. Mark showed up exactly on time. He was very thorough, explained things clearly when I had questions. He actually left my basement cleaner than when he arrived. I was also credited $200 from the previous week's labor charge and they serviced my furnace (purchased from Harker two years earlier) and replaced my thermostat. Excellent experience with them and I'll continue to use them in the future.
