Had water backup from basement drain when running the laundry in the morning. Called Greg, and he was able to accommodate my schedule and come the same day. In fact, he arrived early. The entire interaction was very professional. He was able to locate the problem immediately. He also provided information about how the drains clog, and how to prevent in the future. It is obvious he is very experienced. The job took less than an hour. I am glad I called and he was able to come right away as I learned from Greg that there could have been much more of a mess if water from the rest of the house, including toilets, had backed up.

The problem was not just in the toilet, but in the plumbing beyond. Greg recommended simply replacing the toilet (something we'd been considering) in order to save his time and our money. That's what we did, and he installed the new one very quickly and resolved our issues.

This provider is great! He is very prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and thorough. Although he had the clogs fixed, he checked other things while there to assure himself it wouldn't happen again. Highly recommend!

We called Greg since we had an odd odor coming from a particular area in our basement's ceiling. The smell has come and gone over the years but has become worse lately. We got a hold of him right away and he fit us in with an inspection the following day. He determined what the problem was within 10 minutes and we were happy to hear it was something we could fix ourselves. We were impressed with Greg's great customer service and will definitely call on him again.

Had a bad clog in the kitchen drain. We made several attempts to clear it with limited success. So, we called Greg. He arrived within an hour and skillfully snaked through a tricky pipe that has bends. Greg is very knowledgeable and personable - would hire him again.

They got here in less then an hour (which they admitted was due to conveniently having just finished a job in the area.) They cleared the clog (which was under the foundation, based on how much of the snake he fed in) in about half an hour. They left everything clean, and gave instructions for how to help avoid having the problem recur.

Greg came within a few hours of calling him, was right on time and did a great job. He is the nicest guy, to boot! He cleaned up the mess and told me how to help avoid the problem in the future. I will definitely use Greg again if and when I have the need. It's not often that a plugged drain can turn out to be a relatively painless experience!

I can't recommend Greg highly enough. We did a load of wash on Saturday night that caused the basement floor drain to back up. I didn't think anyone would be able to come until Monday, but I called Greg's number and left a message. I heard back from him 15 minutes later at 9 at night on a Saturday night! He asked about the problem, I described it, and he suggested he come over on Sunday. I didn't want to pay a premium for Sunday service, but he told me he was fully booked on Monday, and if I could allow him in on Sunday, there would be no premium. We agreed that he'd come at 9 on Sunday morning. He was on time, asked the right questions, and got his machine down into the basement and in an hour the lateral was running freely again. Did I mention this was on a Sunday morning? And that I was not charged a premium? Here it is Sunday night and I'm still waiting for calls back from all the other service providers that I called. My hat's off to Greg. He said he's been in the business for 30 years, and I can tell you why - he's considerate, thorough and polite. I highly recommend him.

I can't say enough about good things about Greg. I was so satisfied with his work, I (almost) hoped to have more clogged pipes in my old house just so I could have him come back! As it turned out, I had a very simple problem to solve, yet Greg took the time to explain how my drainage system worked, pitfalls to watch out for if I try to unclog the pipes myself, and ways to prevent the problem from happening again. The price I put down was actually lower than the one I paid; he gave me a break for helping him during the job. I told him that I was puzzled but not put off by his two low evaluations on Angie's List. Since he doesn't check his Angie's List ratings, I pulled the reviews up and showed him. One of the low scores was for a job that was erroneously attributed to his company. The other one isn't worth discussing; suffice it to say that the customer withheld vital information from Greg in the hopes of getting something for nothing. Even in remembering this difficult customer, Greg was gracious and kind, without a trace if ill will. Greg takes pride in his work, is knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, and everything else that one would want in a tradesman. Hire him!

He was unprofessional. He was upset because the day before we had tried to clear the system with draino. He said he could smell it . He was rude and very unprofessional He did not speak to us as if we were intelligent professional humans. He spoke down to us making us feel as if we had done something terrible. It was embarrassing to us , cost us a lot of money that he took and just left in a huff. Then we had to call someone else and pay all over again for it to be done. I would never even have this person on your web site. No one should have to be subject to this type of treatment.

After trying to muddle through without using household drains from Friday evening to Sunday morning, we broke down and called on Sunday afternoon. Greg answered and I told him what was wrong and that we were debating asking him to come now or waiting 'til Monday depending on the cost. He said he was available right away and he could charge us what he would for a weekday. He was at our house in less than an hour and had the drain clear less than an hour after that. (What a relief! I really wish we'd called right away!) He also gave us good advice about what may have caused the plug and how we could avoid it in the future. He was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. He was also friendly, helpful, and I believe he was looking out for our interests -- because of the advice he gave us and because he thought twice about bringing out his larger auger machine to cut through tree roots (even though that was the likely cause based on the symptoms) and asked me about how careful we were with bathroom and kitchen waste, and then decided to try a smaller machine first because it would be faster - and cheaper - if that was all he needed. I *hate* having to pay people to fix things around our house, but I regret not calling Greg sooner and feel like that $120 was very well spent.

Greg scheduled the appt at a time most convenient for me . He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. Great service!

He said that if he was in ad out in an hour, he would charge me $85. Usually, The regular rate is $120 an hour. His work was done in one hour so he charged me $85. He was so nice. After he was done, there was a leak because I had put some drain on teh metal pipe. He stayed for an extra half an hour without charge. He came back to check on me. He suggested his friends to come over right away. On the 16th, it's a very busy day for moving. It's an extremely busy day for all different types of workers. It was important that he stayed. He was just helpful. His work was great. I would use him again in the future

I called and he was able to get here within the hour. He was extremely professional and got right to work. Within an hour he had the drains cleaned out all the way to the street. He was able to tell me exactly where the blockage was and what had caused it (roots). I will definitely call him in the future - hopefully many years down the road.

Greg showed up exactly on time and quickly set to work. He quickly discovered that our problem was not, as we thought, caused by our great granddaughter's flushing of a stuffed toy. He diagnosed the problem as lime building in the innards of the toilet, and he treated this problem with a professional strength lime remover, which instantly improved the performance of our toilet. He then conducted an admirably clear and cautious workshop on this de-liming procedure and gave us a prescription for the appropriate de-limer. He was remarkably unjudgmental in commenting on our idiosyncratic do-it-yourself repairs on the toilet and on our insensitive accusation of our great granddaughter. His charge for his services was modest. We have now treated all three toilets in our house according to Greg's protocol, and we are delighted with the results. We had not realized that all our toilets were showing signs of sclerosis, but now we know -- thanks to Greg! Would that we could rejuvenate ourselves as easily as we have restored youth to our toilets.

He answered his own phone right away and came over right away. He was able to get his rooter down correctly immediately. He was clean, smelled fine and did a very clean job. He brought a drop cloth to keep the area clean. He was super nice too. Since he did not take long, he charged me a fraction of his usual cost. He is licensed and insured. If I could give him more than an and quot;Aand quot; rating, I would. Earlier I had called another guy recommended by my plumber (confusingly named Rooter Right Now). That man did not come the day he was scheduled and did not call to say he would be hours late. Then ended up not coming that day. He was late the next day 40 mins, and unsuccessful at getting his rooter down the drain pipe. It comes to a T and his device would not go down after many tries. He suggested I get a rooter guy with a drop head rooter for my issue. He also left a mess and destroyed my new rug and a towel winding it up in his rooter while he tried to get the rooter in. But he did not charge me. This time I checked Angie's list and called Greg's Rite-Now Rooter. They sound similar, if you drop the and quot;Gregand quot;. But go with Greg unless you have need to be ultra cheap.

They came the same day, gave me a good price with an estimate upfront. They did the job fast and were in an out quickly. The problem was resolved and I havent had a problem since.

Greg happened to be on a fairly nearby call, and said he'd call when he was 5-10 minutes away so I had time to get our pets out of the way. Greg is efficient, personable, and knowledgeable. He solved our problem quickly and offered tips on how to avoid a recurrence. The entire process from initial call to end of visit was probably 90 minutes. The price was less because he operates on word-of-mouth; the Angie's List subscription cost is already covered with this one call. I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to get his help again.

I called Greg about water backing up in our basement from the main drainage pipe. He was able to come over the same day, correctly assess the problem (tree roots blocking the pipe out near the street) and had it fixed and cleaned up in about an hour. As other reviews on Angie's List have mentioned, Greg seems like a good guy and took care of the problem in a no-nosense and professional manner. We would definitely hire him again.

I called Greg at 5:30pm for a drain backup, and despite being the end of the day, he responded immediately. He treated the problem with urgency, communicated well, and resolved the backup quickly. I would definitely recommend Greg!
