Genesis Painting

The father and son painting crew were prompt and efficient. They only put on one coat of paint when I requested two but they said it did not need it. And they did not charge me for the extra coat. So far so good.

I was so pleased with their work and I have received so many compliments. My kitchen was all very stark white and I wanted some color. The gentleman that came out was so very helpful with helping me choose the colors I wanted. He took so much time with me. I have a picture that has very vivid colors in it, and I wanted to base my color selections off of that. All of the colors really blend together and play off of that painting. I want to complement them in any way I can. The way that they cleaned up after the work was so thorough. One of the painters even took pictures of where my furniture was before they moved it, so when they were done painting everything was placed right back in the exact spot. They also vacuumed and swept my kitchen floor when they were cleaning up. I was so impressed.

Had estimator give quote for painting of the trim around garage doors that was worn down as well as the painting of the entire living area of our middle area (which is a huge area). Quote came quick and reasonable. They had a color consultant that came out and helped us decide on colors (they ended up PERFECT) which was quite nice. Before the job happened we asked about adding on painting of the trim in the areas as well, which when quoted seemed a bit high. I talked to the estimator and we discussed this and he stated that we could probably find a cheaper company, but their goal was to make things "Better Homes and Garden" ready. After having the job done, I have to agree. It looks great and we couldn't be more happy. Will definitely use again in the future.

This is the second time we've used All Aspects to paint a few rooms in our house. The first time, we had them paint a living room, dining room, and kitchen, all with very high ceilings and some repairs needed. That cost about $1,000 and was definitely worth it. Jim went over the various paint finishes and helped us pick the one that would work the best for what we needed, and also helped us go through and pick the right options for fixing various problems with the walls and ceilings (dents and scrapes, drywall tape cracking and bubbling). He then got to work and finished within the three-day time period he had given us. Everything turned out better than we could have hoped! We can't stand painting, and we liked Jim's work so much, that we hired him again to paint an office and a bedroom. Once again the price seemed very reasonable, and he and his co-painter Victor finished everything in one day and did a great job. We will definitely hire Jim again if/when we need more painting done.

I needed a painter last minute and was referred to Jim for service. He was able to accommodate an extremely tight schedule in getting a job done (1 week notice and he got the job done in 3 days), and was even able to re-do a full upstairs free of charge when the paint store did not match all 4 cans of paint. He was an extremely hard worker, and got the job done in a phenomenal time frame. His work was great. He also did some smaller projects of hanging items around the house that I could not do myself. I would higher recommend Jim.

My experience overall went very well. I was pleased with the work the provided. They were prompted and efficient. The crew was very friednly and professional. They were also great with the clean up afterwards. There were some brackets in the bedroom that he painted over and that is my only complaint. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this company.

The finished product looks great! Have received lots of compliments on the colors and job that was done. One painter did the entire job over 3.5 days. He was very prompt starting each morning and stayed until he completed what he said he would each day, including clean up. He took a great deal of pride in his work. Would definitely contract with this company again!

Eduardo does an excellent job. He leaves my house in perfect order, demonstrates excellence in painting, and exercises professionalism in his demeanor and communication with me. I'm very pleased with Genesis.

I was very pleased with Jim's ability to work with us on the timing and colors. He and another person who works with him were able to get the job done prior to our move in date. His prices were very fair and they did a wonderful job- they cleaned up after themselves, and the painting looks great. I would definitely reccomend All Aspects to others.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were excellent. It was very easy to schedule. They communicated well. They did the job exactly as they said they would. They were right on time.

We had an extensive conversation about the plan to get our house painted. They told us exactly what they would do and how they would do it. Right now we are still considering the estimate and deciding who we will use for the service. However, we were pleased with their professionalism.

Project ran long and cost more. This effort cost significantly more than estimated by Genesis. Make certain you ask for a FIXED PRICE!! I won't do business with them again. UPDATE: I just reviewed the Genesis Painting response. The additional costs were not discussed upfront; rather, 3 days into the job the painter told me it was taking longer than he anticipated and I had to absorb the additional time and materials cost. There was no drywall patching. This clearly was a bait and switch; buyer beware.

the entire project was done very professionally and the results turned out excellent. One of the better experiences we have had hiring a company to do a service for us. Great people,excellent workmenship for a fair price We would reccomend them for any house painting project and would use them again in the future for any painting projects.

I contacted Jim several weeks ago to inquire about his company performing the interior painting of my house. My first message went unanswered so I tried again several days later. When Jim and I discussed the job we agreed that I was not in a hurry and that we could perform the work in phases. We spent about 10 minutes discussing the job and he said that he would come out to look at our home on June 16th. About an hour and a half after he was supposed to be there, he called and said he couldn't make it due to a job that required more time than anticipated. We made a new appointment for Wednesday the 19th at 5:00 pm. Once again Jim was no show and I've yet to receive a phone call with an explanation. According to previous Angie's list reviews, Jim does really good work which is why I contacted him in the first place. However, if we are having responsiveness and timeliness problems now during the estimation phase, I can't see how I could possibly trust him to complete the work that I need done.

This was our second major project working with Genesis Painting this year. And once again, we had the pleasure of having Jake's team of Mario and Bobby on the job. As expected, the work was absolutely amazing. They truly went above and beyond in order to make sure our 1962 home with the old lead paint look like new. And now it does! Their attention to detail was second to none. All in all, the guys were always friendly, professional, punctual, and addressed all of our concerns. We couldn't have asked for more from them. We have a couple of interior drywall and painting projects coming up in the near future and hope to get Jake's team again.

Jim is very reasonably priced and has done a great job in everything he has done for us. This is the 2nd room he has painted for us and both times he has done a great job. The first room was our basement. He was very helpful in helping us decide which colors would look good together. He sat with me for a long time going through the color wheel and really caring about how it would turn out. Then once we decided he painted our basement and it turned out great! He took his time and he did a wonderful job! The 2nd room he painted was for my daughter. She wanted 2 stripes all the way around the room. He made sure every inch of the stripes were even and made sure the colors turned out just the way she wanted them. When she walked in to see her room for the first time she was so excited! It turned out great! Jim was referred to us by my sister who has has painted many rooms in their home and has done a great job also! I would highly recommend him!

Rooms had not been painted in over 20 years. Painter did an excellent job prepping the rooms for painting. Consulted with us as he went along to assure our satisfaction. He did redo a couple wall cracks that he was not happy with. Rooms were painted twice. Furnishings and floors and woodwork was protected while he painted. He was very gracious and respectful to us and the house. He left the room cleaner than he found it and the walls and ceiling look Great!

The job went very well. Jim had an 'assistant' with the painting - Victor, who works full time for Genesis Painting did an outstanding job. Jim and Victor worked very well together. They were organized and tidy. Their work was excellent. I couldn't ask for anything more. Backing up a bit, I was very appreciative of the options Jim offered when he made his 'bid'. He provided several options for dealing with the light switch - some much less expensive than others. Jim's ideas on the project made the results a success - details like the caulking and ways to handle trim in different parts of the room.

They did an EXCEPTIONAL job!! Jim and Victor are very talented painters who have an incredible attention to detail. Jim and Victor work well together and they finished in 2 days. They were well prepared for the job, showed up on time and did a fantastic job of leaving our home clean. They even swept the front sidewalk!! I will definitely refer All Aspects Painting to family, friends and anyone who is looking to hire a painter (In fact, I already have). They are real masters of their trade.

Jeff provided an expert assessment of the problems and detailed explanation of the process. Jason communicated repeatedly regarding when the project could be started based on the weather. Jason and crew did an excellent job and made everything tidy at the end of each day.

Jim did a great job. Arrived when scheduled, neat, had great suggestion on colors and placement!

This is the second time Jim has painted our home this year. Jim was referred to us by a friend who had hired him to paint some areas in their home. She had many good things to say about him and his work. From the minute you talk with him on the phone, you know he is a great guy! He first painted our kitchen and living room and most recently our 3 bedrooms. Both times he came to paint we had been out of town and both times when we had returned home we were amazed at the great job he had done. He is so meticulous with his work and he really takes the time to talk with you and answer any questions you have and gives great color advice as to what he thinks will work or not work for the look you are trying to achieve. We have received so many compliments on the painting/colors in our house, especially our living room, which has 3 different colors! We have nothing but nice things to say about Jim and we have referred Jim to neighbors, friends and family and would definitely call him again for any of our painting needs.

The project was outstanding from start to finish. Jim is a true professional. The results were amazing and made my wife and I very happy. Jim Vincent is a person you will enjoy having in your home. He is friendly and extremely trust worthy. You can learn many valuable tips if you asked Jim questions and just watch him work.. Jim started on a Monday and was finished by the end of the week. He still stopped back to do the finishing touches a couple times the next week. Jim is a perfectionist and prides himself on outstanding results. This is the third time Jim Vincent has done a project for my wife and I. We highly recommend Jim and will use him in the near future.
