Description of Work: We hired Genesis to paint our great room, kitchen, and guest bath.

Description of Work: I had a couple of bathrooms that needed repainting including one that required a fair amount of ceiling repair and a bedroom that needed painting as well. He also did various handyman activities for me that included: caulking a bathtub, fixing a shelf in a kitchen cabinet, repairing some brick masonry, devising a solution to some sunken concrete in the driveway and fixing a lazy susan cabinet in the kitchen.

Genesis was not listed on Angie's list but should have been, We responded to their thoughtful ad and was impressed with their response. We had our entire home's interior painted and we were completely pleased with the quality of materials and expertise of their painter. We were completely pleased in all aspects of the job.

Description of Work: We hhired Genesis Painting after having researched numerous providers in Madison whcih we felt would best meet the needs of our older cedar-shingled home. We chose Genesis because they were able to provide the services we needed, within the budget we could afford, and in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the products used and the quality of the work provided. Jeff answered all our questions, the work was scheduled and completed quickly, and the workers were very friendly and professional. They thoroughly scraped all surfaces of the house and trim, replaced some broken shingles, and painted trim and house. They showed up on time, worked hard every day, and completed the work in less time than we expected. They were also meticulous about cleaning up each day, and at the end of the job. The on site manager, Robb, was very hlepful in obtaining extra color chart and other iinformation and we felt like he/workers were always very accessible to us to answer questions or concerns throughout the process. Our old house now looks like it's had a major facelift and is something to be proud of. We are very grateful for the excellent work that Genenis and staff have provided, and would certainly use their services again.

Description of Work: The project included our entire main floor - kitchen, dining, living room, four bedrooms, two baths, a large closet - all the walls and ceilings. They also touched up our metal banister.

Description of Work: I had Jim Vincent paint my family room and stairway to the basement. He did an excellent job and left everything very neat and tidy. I had some drapes that were hung in an unusual fashion and Jim figured out how to keep them out of the way and was very careful about wrapping them so they didn't wrinkle. I was impressed!

Description of Work: We called Genesis Painting and they referred us to Jim Vincent.. We called Jim and he came over to give us an estimate to paint our Kitchen and bathroom and repair cracks and other touch up's needed. He brought paint samples to look at and recommended what kind of paint to use. He gave us a followup call. We called and setup dates to come over to start painting. He worked with our schedule. I bought the paint so he told us how many gallons he would need. My kitchen & bathroom look really awesome. Thanks Jim for doing such a great job!!!!!!

Description of Work: We contacted Genesis looking for an estimate to have our daughter's room painted. We were referred to use Jim Vincent because we had a smaller job. He gave an accurate, reasonable estimate over the phone and talked me through picking what type of paint would be correct for the job.

Description of Work: Jim painted my kitchen in August 2010 and did a wonderful job. He had to cover up some pretty challenging paint as my husband and I had a bad experience trying to paint the kitchen red. Jim did a great job and I was so happy with my new sunny yellow kitchen that I called Jim again when I decided to paint an accent wall in my family room in April 2011. There is a high vaulted ceiling and a fireplace on the wall that I needed painted, so I couldn't do it myself. Jim did an excellent job once again!

Description of Work: I called Genesis with a small job of painting an accent wall in my family room. They referred me to a painter who does their small jobs for them. His name is Jim. He was very responsive and friendly. He even picked up the paint for me, all I had to do was tell him the color. Jim painted an accent wall in my living room around my fire place with a very high vaulted ceiling and did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: All Aspects Painting and Home Improvements did an interior painting job in my home. They painted two rooms, living and bedroom area and three stairways.

Description of Work: During the past year, Jim has painted nearly every room in our house, most recently working on the hallway doors. My husband is now using a wheelchair (thus the reason for the move to a more accessible home) and Jim was able to erase the marks on the door frames and doors from the wheelchair and do many things which were beyond my skills. He installed flooring in our basement, repaired the living room ceiling, which had been damaged by an ice dam, and even was able to save my wall stenciling by matching the paint color in our laundry room.

Description of Work: Jim Vincent (All Aspects) painted three rooms in our home (bedroom/adjacent bathroom and master bathroom). Jim also fixed four towel hooks in our bathroom.

Description of Work: We had Jim paint nearly every room in the condo we recently purchased, including the living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, stairway, hallway, and bathroom. It involved removing a lot of old wallpaper and fixing multiple spots that were cracking or peeling. Jim did a very thorough job of removing the cracked portions, filling with plaster, sanding flat, and then texturing the area to blend in. He was also very considerate when it came to the smell, using low VOC paint and only using the oil primer (stinky) when we were away on travel. I appreciated this being 6 months pregnant and having a 2 yr old running around. He also removed a toilet and vanity very quickly and cleanly so we could start our remodel with a clean slate. He was also comfortable and efficient when removing an electric wall-mounted heater and the corresponding breakers. We plan to have him come back to re-do the walls in our second bathroom and change out all the outlets and switches to more modern looking ones.
