Jason, the technician, that performed the work seemed knowledgeable and was very personable / professional. He kept the house clean and did a thorough job.

They arrived as scheduled and while vacuuming they encountered a different problem. The duct had become dislodged and two sections of the duct had separated from each other so the vent was discharging directly into the house. Not good with a gas drier venting carbon monoxide directly into the home. Fortunately, no walls had to be taken down to access the separated vent sections. They were accessible through a ceiling panel in a closet. They re-connected the vent sections and duct taped them. This was "over and beyond the call of duty". The price was reasonable considering the extra effort and time they put in at no additional cost. I might have considered the cost a little high had they only vacuumed. Since they went to the extra trouble, I recomment them and would use them again.

I would refer them and I did refer them to my mother.

Dirty Ducts was great. The encapsulation was done as part of a real estate transaction, and Dirty Ducts really came through, allowing the house to close. I needed the work done early the next morning, and they had an abatement contractor at the property at 5:30am on Good Friday, completing the work in good time and with all the right permits. And it looked good too! The work on the basement floor involved removing the tile with a negative pressure work-space to contain any asbestos fibers released. They were timely, and even used the low-oder tile remover, since I had asked about possible fumes. I am very happy with both jobs.

They spent an adequate amount of time and did a good job. The same day, coincidentally, my condo association hired another company to clean residents' dryer vents for $75. The Dirty Ducts technician pointed out to me that they're doing what is referred to as "blow and go," where you pay a lot and don't get much for it. They just use a small attachment and take 5 or 6 inches of dirt that's near the vent opening.

We decided not to go with them because they charged for an estimate. They explained they had too many developers who flipped houses, but even after explaining we were not flipping the house, they would not provide a free estimate. We went with a company who was more willing to work with us.

Technician was very professional and explained the entire process to me before beginning. Before and after photos really show the value of this service. My lungs thank you dirty ducts...

It was disgusting to see what had accumulated in my ductwork, but I am very glad I had this done. He started at about12:30 and was finished by just before 4:00 on a 912 square foot house. The $245 was after a $50 Angie's List coupon.

Their service man, Shawn, was very professional and easy to work with. Called ahead of time, and just a great guy. Very thorough job, and made sure the furnace was running again before he left. Everything went fine. The cats were a little freaked out from the noise and the house was a bit cold as the unit really sucked allot of air. Otherwise all was fine. Took about 3 hours My only complaint is that I wish they replaced the furnace filter when done but I suppose it would be difficult to know what typee of filter you have before hand. I'll hire them again in a few years.

I had been having allergy symptoms and thought cleaning the air vents my help. After no definite answers searching the internet, I decided it wouldn't hurt. Especially since I've lived here 10 years, replaced a furnace, but never actually had the vents cleaned. Dirty Ducts had great reviews and didn't offer all the "special low-ball deals" you need to look out for in a duct cleaning service. They scheduled me right away, but had one scheduling snafoo. The technician was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and showed me the entire process. He was very careful in the house and not to get dust in the a/c coils. Everything went great and I'd use them again, but doubt I'll need my vents cleaned again for a very long time.

April and Amy, who work in the office, are very pleasant to work with and do a wonderful job of scheduling and letting you know what time the workers will arrive. They will call if any changes occur. In the morning, Dirty Ducts' carpenter created two access panels to our HVAC system, so that they could fully clean our ductwork. He was very careful to protect everything around the work area, so that nothing would be harmed or get dusty. The duct cleaner, Shawn, came a few hours later. We've had Dirty Ducts clean our dryer vent (the venting ductwork extends more than 30 feet and has many, many turns -- a very poor design), and were very pleased with their work compared to the other company we used (no longer in the ductwork cleaning business, fortunately). Shawn did a great job - he explained how he was going to proceed, helped me move furniture that was in front of vents, showed before and after photos, and cleaned everything up really well. A very minor concern is that I did not know that the source of the air pressure was from his truck, so a door had to be open (not necessary when they clean the dryer venting ductwork). That meant that any pets needed to be closed into a room so that they wouldn't run outside. If I had known this in advance, I would have taken care of that detail before Shawn arrived. He was very apologetic, and I'm sure that Dirty Ducts usually makes sure that customers know this in advance. Shawn was very careful about our furnace, AprilAire, and whole-house air cleaner. When he was finished, he re-connected everything, and made sure that they all were running well. He also cleaned out some of the mineral deposiits in the drain tube from the AprilAire. He's very nice to deal with and clearly knows his stuff. There was a bit of odor from the equipment when Shawn finished, but that dissipated within a few hours. We can tell that the ductwork is much cleaner - almost no dust! So, yes, I highly recommend Dirty Ducts!

They showed up on time. The guy was very friendly and layed down tarps so they did not get dirt on the carpet. It took them about 3 hours. The only problem is that you have to keep your door open and it did get a little cold. They took before and after pictures and gave me copies of those. I was very pleased.

Sean and a "trainee" arrived on time and quickly discovered that in addition to lint build-up, the dryer vent duct above the ceiling had come loose and everything was venting inside the house. They re-connected the vent duct and finished vacuuming the lint. No extra charge for the "repair" using tape. They were pleasant and did a good job.

It went very well. The technician arrived early, was very pleasant, and there was no mess for us to clean up. He gave us before & after pictures of the dust, etc. in the ducts. The dryer vent was detached and he showed us how to clean it out ourselves.The house was empty because we hadn't moved in yet & we had already removed the register covers, so the job might take longer if they have to maneuver around furniture, remove registers, etc.

We chose dirty ducts because of the reviews in Angies list. They performed a thorough duct cleaning at the quoted price. We are happy with their performance. I would recommend doing this on a warm day, as they open up your house for several hours. It can get cold if you are at home.

The Tech explained everything, was carful not to get the house dirty, was on time and completed when promised. Also took before and after photos.

He covered all but one vent (in the kitchen) and put down drop cloths where hoses went to basement. He took off his shoes when on carpeting, even though I told him it wasn't necessary. He answered my questions about the duct work on one side of the house, and showed me that it was closed off to a bedroom that I was concerned about. The truck gave off a little bit of exhaust, so it would be good to do on a day you could open up some windows to ventilate. Overall it was a great experience. A heavy FedEx package was dropped off as he was working, and the delivery man just left it in the garage. The Dirty Ducts serviceman offered to move it into the house for me...That's service!!

They did a really good job. They took pictures before and after. They were quick and it was cleaner after than before.

They were polite by phone, but didn?t want to travel to our church to provide the written quote. We chose to look into another provider.

I was very satisfied with their work, they did a good job. I was experiencing problems with the ducts, they took care of the problems and I haven't had to have them back out since.
