Dale's Heating & Air Cond

Went well - on time, cleaned the furnace, put in a new filter.

Our furnace stopped working overnight and we woke up to a cold house. I called Dale's and Brian came out a few hours later and replaced a defective limiter on the furnace which was stuck open. He also gave some useful advice on what might have caused the problem and how to avoid it with different air filters.

The whole house humidifier has made such a difference! The process was smooth and issue free. Brian was fantastic; very professional, knowledgable, and kind. Before beginning his work, he clearly explained where and why the various components should be placed for optimal performance and longevity purposes. I know nothing about these things and am very green in regards to a lot of our home's "mechanics", so to speak. His communication with me was in terms I could easily understand, which I greatly appreciated! I agreed with his recommendation and let him do his work. The entire process took just over an hour. This was my first experience using Angie's List, much less an Angie's List "Special Deal". I will certainly use Brian again for our future heating/air conditioning needs!

Excellent service. Very conscientious and diligent. Very prompt; even arrived early. "Technician" also provided before and after pictures which reflected the success. Company charged the reduced rate for the designated number of vents; then we negotiated a reasonable price for additional vents.

Excellent! Brian was about 15 minutes early to the agreed appointment, but we didn't know! We have a wireless doorbell and the battery had died so the poor guy was sitting out in his truck in sub-zero temperatures (we have an outdoor security camera, which I had checked later). He came back at appointment time, knocked this time, and got things rolling. Great guy! He was there about an hour and had everything installed! We've had it about a month and everything is working great! Thank you!

We were very happy with the service. I had informed the tech that I might be running a bit late, and when he arrived on time and I was home he remembered that I had mentioned that. The service was prompt and efficient and he explained everything that was done/tested to me and how our 1980's furnace was looking. He even outlined what we should expect to pay for a furnace replacement and suggested that we might want to start saving now so that we can replace it when we are ready, not when it decides to go - which was greatly appreciated since I had no idea what we could expect to pay to replace something like that. We would gladly use them again.

Zach arrived a few minutes early, was polite, friendly, and shared what would be happening. Offered to bring me each vent cover so I could wash them as he cleaned the actual vents out and put them back. I would definitely use them again.

It went smoothly. Arrived on time. First reviewed the number of ducts to be cleaned (there was an extra fee per duct beyond the first 10). Sent pictures of the cleaned ducts after it was done. Slightly later I realized I had made a mistake in counting the ducts, and brought this to their attention, and they were quick and happy to issue a refund.

I was very pleased. The technician was professional, thorough by even showing me before and after pictures and there was a definite difference, and friendly. We had a heavy snowfall today but he did not let that bother him and continued on until the job was done. I would recommend this company for what I had done. If the rest of their service for heating and air conditioning is as excellent as the experience I had, I believe you would not go wrong in hiring them.

Cost an additional $150 on top of the $200 Angie's List deal, which is still much cheaper than other quotes I got. Was a little late due to traffic but efficient once here.

It went so well, that while Brian was there I asked if he did HVAC additions to basements. He promptly gave me a quote while he was there, and I hired him on the spot to come back 2 weeks later to complete the job, which he added some heat runs and a cold air return in my basement. All excellent work and up to code at a very, very reasonable price. He will now be my "go-to" guy for all things HVAC.

That was fine. I paid a dollar for the humidifier filter. They were fine. I'd give them A for everything.

They were given the wrong address from Angie's list but did a good job of getting a hold of me to get the correct address and reschedule the appointment. They were extremely professional and accommodating. The job itself was done rather quickly with little disruption and the guy even reattached my dryer to the vent inside that was never properly vented. Would definitely hire them again!
