He was helpful, reasonably priced, conscientious. I would hire him again. There were a couple of things that weren't quite right, so he came over right away and fixed them with no hassle.

Overall excellent. I rated all areas an A, with Quality rated a B. Dave forgot to load the Window updates after the repair, resulting in another work day. Overall it wasn't a major issue & I will use Community PC again.

Dave was able to come to my home to set up my computer and network within a day or two of calling him. Setup was done to my satisfaction and the computer is working great. Dave is very friendly and punctual. I would not hesitate to call him again.

The provider was professional. He was on time. He did everything I asked and was willing to explain what he was doing. I will use Community P.C. again.

He was extremely helpful and willing to do just about anything except make the 45-minute drive. Because I live out in the middle of nowhere. I was able to meet him in Madison and he was able to take care of it.

Dave was very responsive to my phone call. He quickly identified the part that I would need. I purchased the part from Amazon. When it came in an appointment for Dave to come out to my mom and complete the replacement was schedule within a few days, he was very willing to fit my schedule. The repair took almost exactly the quoted time - 1 hour. I would use Community PC again for any computer repair needs.

Dave read a report I submitted earlier this year and called my husband to give him another chance. He came out to the house and ended up taking the computer tower with him to remove and re-load all our programs. He returned it 2 days later and it now works noticeably faster. We appreciate his persistence. The charge was for the 2 trips and the time he took to once more clean up the computer. We felt it was a fair price. The computer is several years old.

We have an older desktop that was running very slowly and he came to take the tower and clean it up. He was initially dealing with my husband who is computer challenged and was very patient. When he returned the tower, he ran some programs and had to leave before they finished running and they did not complete, so he came back again to complete the process.He saved our settings while scrubbing and installed them back on the computer, but in a buried location and I had to call him to find it. The computer did not run any better after this. He suggested that since the computer had only 500+mb memory that we needed to have more memory installed and found us an online service to order it from. When we received it, he returned to install it. Unfortunately, the computer still runs slowly. I'd use him again because we live out in the country and he was very good to come out to our house in a timely manner.

I contacted Dave St. Amant at Community PC to do virus removal on my desktop computer. I reached him right away and he was by within a day to pick up the computer to take back to his shop to work on reformatting the hard drive. He got it back to me in a timely fashion, explained everything well and the computer has worked great since. He was good about following up with me afterwards when I had a couple of questions. He did everything he promised.

The service was excellent. He called the same day I emailed him and came to pick it up that afternoon. He called me a couple different times that same night as he started to work on it to make sure I was ok with what he was doing. He got the work done very quickly (had it done within a couple days, and that was over New Year's weekend). He had a 15% off coupon for virus removal, which he told me he would use if he was able to fix the virus, otherwise he quoted me $90 to completely wipe clean my laptop and reload all the data, which he told me he wouldn't exceed even if the work turned out to be more than expected. As he thought, he wasn't able to fix the virus but he only charged me the $90 that I was quoted, he had reloaded all of my data, and made sure that my laptop was reconnected to my wireless and printer before leaving after he dropped off the laptop. He was very friendly and professional, and incredibly easy to work with.

It went great--it has been three months and there has been no recurrance of the problem. I couldn't be more please with the outcome, the service or the price, especially considering how unusual the problem turned out to be.

I called Community PC as I was having difficulties starting on of my business computers. I own a Hospital Coding and Reimbursement company and run it from my home office. I have a network of 5-6 computers, printers, scanners, etc. Dave has worked on my system multiple times. I have called him in times of complete anxiety and panic related to some computer problem and meeting a client deadline, and he has always made time to accomodate my needs. This has included "off hours" assistance over the phone, and at my office. The work I do is confidential, and after signing the confidentiality statement I have never had any concerns regarding the security and safety of having Community PC work on my systems. Dave is friendly, able to expain what the issue's are, and how he remedied them. I have limited knowledge of certain aspects of computers and related equipment, and Dave has always been able to take my vague descriptions of the problems and issue's, and figure out what was causing them. I feel comfortable with Dave working in my office, he is personable, and friendly, and gets the job done. Dave has done everything from basic applications to setting up my complete system. Overall, I would highly recommend Community PC for anyone looking for assistance with their computer systems.

He tried to install a Bose stereo system but it did not work well.

Dave did an excellent job. He tracked down the necessary part, which required a fair amount of research and a number of phone calls, and he found the part at the best price. Dave comes to one's home to do the repair, which minimizes the amount of time one is without a computer. He is thorough, friendly, and professional. It was a pleasure working with him, and I will turn to him for future computer repairs and perhaps also for help with software, programming, and web development.

When Dave repaired our computers (his initial visit) he upgraded two units with more RAM, replaced a broken video card and did a format / restore procedure on a third machine. We also thought one of our printers needed replacement, but Dave repaired it and we are still using it to this day. But, it was the format / restore that impressed us the most. He explained that due to the time needed for the task he would have to take the computer to his shop and return it later. He was able to have it back in our office in just over 24 hours! He made sure our data was saved and that we had all the security updates, service packs and bug fixes from Microsoft installed. Then he re-installed all the software needed for the business and returned our data to it's original location. There was very little adjustment necessary on our part to become productive with that machine once he delivered it. He did all this for a price comparable to the lower priced shops in town and in less time. I'm certain the other shops in town would not have ensured we had all the Microsoft updates either. Dave is always cheerful when he arrives, honest about the work needed and very considerate of our financial concerns. When we hired him to do the development of our new web site he provided us with three options and prices. Together we were able to agree on a plan of action that met our business and financial needs.
