Very quality service went smooth. Explained in detail what the problem was and corrected it. Jeff and Brandon were great at there job and I would call them again if I need there service. Very pleased with the end result. Showed up within the service window promised.

Problem solved and fixed in less than 10 minutes

I was impressed immediately when I called and left a message someone returned my call within an hour. That person left a message asking that I provide the model number for my dryer. I didn't know and thought I would have to find the purchase agreement and so did not call back right away. In the meantime, Champion called me back again and told me where to find the model number on the dryer itself which I did while he stayed on the phone. We then made an appointment for the next day. It has been 30-days since the repair and everything is still working perfectly. The repairman showed up when promised and worked efficiently. Champion Appliance Care is now my go-to repair shop for all of my large appliances.

The appointment was set for 8 AM, and he arrived a couple minutes before, which was great. He was very friendly, even to three noisy dogs. It says a lot about a person when they react positively to animals. He checked everything over, very thorough. He let me down easily that the oven wasn't really worth fixing. They could, but the cost of the repairs was about as much as a new, reasonable stove. He explained what was wrong, looked up the parts costs, estimated the labor, to give me a good idea of the total cost. I would definitely recommend Champion and call them again, if needed.

Making a service appointment was easy and the service call dispatcher correctly conveyed my downtown parking instructions to service technician Bob. In spite of an overnight snowy winter storm that kept many people at home, Bob arrived on time in the morning and immediately knew my fridge had a frozen water line in potentially 3 different places. Bob showed me the areas and he quickly tested the different areas. Through his trouble-shooting efforts, he identified the frozen area, and suggested I simply let the frozen area melt to get the line flowing again. He also suggested I keep the freezer and fridge sections a little warmer. I acted on Bob?s advice and was drinking filtered water from the fridge that afternoon. Bob also did a great job demonstrating how to change the water filter and how to re-attach an abandoned shelf. (Even though the fridge is 14 years old, it?s still new to me as a new owner.) Bob was patient and friendly like an understanding uncle, and very efficient. This fridge repair call is the second time that I have needed this company?s help. (The first call was a couple years agao to service a dishwasher which was quickly & professionally fixed.) It seems clear that only efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional specialists are employed. I would definitely use this company again.

I sent a message via Angieslist that my stove had and error 15 which instructed that the EOC be replaced which I did and now I have an error 11 code. They informed me that it would be 85 dollars to come and diagnose the issue. Not wanting to pay 85 dollars just to had another provider come out. He did not fix the issue so we figured we would pay the 85 to have Champion come out. In trying to find out what it would cost to have teh touch panel replaced as this according to other providers is the most likely issue they would not give us a price. When my wife was finally able to talk to the service tech he informed her that since we the homeowner had touch the wires they would not service the appliance. Overall had my wife not pushed to find a price we would have paid 85 dollars to have them come out and tell us that they would not provide service after my first message stated I replaced the EOC.

Tech had it diagnosed and repaired in short order. Provided full explanation of the problem and was most cautious in staging the repair. Neat and clean. Champion will be the go-to in the future.

Technician arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and got the issue diagnosed and fixed promptly. He also showed me how to take apart the dishwasher so I can fix the issue myself in the future if it reoccurs. The price was slightly higher than I expected, but still reasonable.

The repairman figured out that the heating element which prevented the water that drains into the pan from freezing was broken. As a result, frost collected on and under the back panel of the refrig., so he removed the back panel, blow dried the iced over back wall, repaired the wire, so the air from the freezer could pass through to the refrig and cool it to the correct temp. Good investigating Time consuming job. Very competent.

They did come out on a Saturday, so they received points, however, a couple of things happened during the cleaning. They tried to upcharge me with the cleaning of the front of the dryer. This was not mentioned to me with my phone call to them. Next, they actually broke my outside dryer vent attachment. They did not replace this for free, but told me that they would give me a deal and sell me the new better vent attachment for at cost of $50 from their usual cost of $89. I looked up this piece at Menards and it's a whopping $8.99. Basically, I feel kinda ripped off and they should have replaced it for free. .

They fixed the dryer and put a new code compliant vent in place. I was planning to fix the dryer myself, I looked up how to replace the tension wheel on YouTube, but I would have missed the lint build up problem, and we would likely have had a fire in the hose (some of the lint was already scorched). The workers were friendly and professional. I have used a lot of appliance repair companies and never felt comfortable with any of them, until now.

I contacted Champion because of the high ratings on reviews for Angie's List. The call was necessitated by the fact that our approximately 8-year-old dishwasher would not consistently start and run through complete wash cycles. I agreed to their trip charge (although a bit high given the short travel distance and time required). The trip charge included a 15-minute labor fee for 15 minutes to cover diagnosis work. The problem turned out to be an electrical outlet that was shorting and needed to be replaced; nothing else was detected to be wrong with the dishwasher's performance. For whatever reason, it took the technician a little additional time to make that determination but we were not charged for that additional diagnosis time because the outlet shorting was not evident to him at first glance. The technician did not have a new electrical outlet with him. So, he left and returned several days later, the technician to install a new outlet (perhaps 10 minutes work). It seems that Champion does not stock electrical outlets and someone there had go out, find, and purchase one for us. For the replacement work, we were charged an additional $60 for one hour of labor. When I complained about the $60 charge for a full hour, I was told that the total charges billed were more than reasonable (and also reminded several times that I had agreed to the original trip charge), that we had not been billed for as much labor during the initial call as we could have been, that we were not charged for the second trip with, as I understand it, the exception of the technician's time, and that I did not seem to understand how businesses operate and what their costs are. In this case, the work--little as it turned out to be--was satisfactory; the bill was more than anticipated given the little work involved; and the Champion representative I talked with disappointing.

Aaron disassembled freezer drawer and access to frozen drain, unthawed and made a repair to prevent freezing in the future. He was prompt, calling just before he arrived, friendly and courteous. He completed the repair within 30 minutes, having all parts on hand.

My dryer stopped drying. I contacted Champion Appliance Repair, got a prompt reply, and set up an appointment for later in the week. By the time Aaron came out, however, my dryer was working again. Nevertheless, he checked the insides of the machine and the duct to see if he could see a problem. He also told me how to clean the very old washing machine I got with the house. Service was prompt and friendly.

(Note: Madison is served by several Champion Appliance offices that divide the service by zip code/neighborhood. Because of my location, the Champion Appliance Care office that did my work was the one at 3709 Toban Drive.) I was glad I called Champion and had the following services performed: clear lint from vent on exterior of home; take panel off dryer to vacuum lint from inside of machine; replace Mylar dryer vent with aluminum vent. My clothes are drying more efficiently, and I believe I?ve lowered our risk of experiencing the type of house fire that originates in the dryer. (We already had FloodChek washer hoses, or I might have had those installed as well.) Jeff, the technician, was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to coordinate with. I believe he truly does want to educate people about all their options and leave their homes safer than he left them. One thing to keep in mind: Champion has numerous helpful products and services available to recommend once they see the setup of the particular laundry room. It is not a hard sell, but the many options can become confusing. Once you have chosen the best combination of products and services for your home, you may want to have an invoice prepared before the work begins. That way, there will be no surprises on either side at payment time, and you can just enjoy your safer, more efficient dryer when you next do the laundry.

On time, attention to detail, respected the house, cleaned up after, explained work carefully, electronic receipts and 30 day warranty of work, quality workmanship, cheerful attitude, thank me for the opportunity ... what more could you ask for?

Provider was prompt, courteous and knowledgable. Provided information to determine whether expensive repair or replacement was the best choice. He was quick and efficient.

I have had another appliance repair person out here multiple times to fix this problem and he has not been able to fix it. I scheduled a last-ditch-effort appointment with Champion before we were going to just have to buy a new washer/dryer. Aaron came out, immediately knew what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. I can't believe that our dryer is finally fixed!! He also cleaned out our dryer vent, which apparently was almost completely blocked, as well as under the lint filter, and oiled up the machine too, all of which the other repair person had not done when he was out a few weeks before. We were thrilled with Aaron's ability to assess the situation and find out why things were happening - getting to the root of the problem, not just putting a Band-Aid on for the symptoms. We will call Champion the next time we have any appliance problem!

Repair person came and spent a bit of time diagnosing the problem. He tried several things eliminating several potential problems. And finally found the defective part. He ordered it and quickly installed it the ver next day. Very knowledgable and great to deal with.

Was promised an appt within a 3 hour window. When they didn't show up, I called. Apologetic representative told me someone had moved my appt. but none had let me know about it. Their best remedy was to schedule another 3 hour windows with a call from the tech before coming. I told them I'd look elsewhere.

Second time I've used these folks, both time, excellent service. Phone is answered by someone who asks all the right questions. I was asked about problem, make and model number, walked through steps to find obscure numbers on my 25 year old stove, advised not to use my oven due to the problem I was having (stove "exploding" when it lit), given appt. immediately following holiday weekend (I called them day before holiday weekend). Serviceman arrived on time, called before coming to advise of arrival (I'd been given 3 hour window), he had the part I needed since they asked the right questions when I called. Installed efficiently. Cleaned up after self, even fixed my oven handle which was a little loose, without asking. Second time I've used this service. They came Xmas week a few years ago and promptly fixed a malfunctioning refrigerator, saving me from an entertaining disaster! In that case, the part needed to be ordered, but he fixed it enough to keep it working through the holiday, until he could get back to complete the repair.

I called to try to schedule same day service due to an urgent situation. Jeff answered the phone and before I could even finish my sentence said he couldn't help me, and when I tried to ask if he had any referrals or suggestions for me he cut me off mid sentence again, and said nope, sorry. I understand that he couldn't get someone to help me today. I don't understand being treated rudely.

We have a stacked washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom that is enclosed in a closet like enclosure. The dryer is vented through the attic. When Aaron came out, he was very nice, but was concernced about lifting the dryer off the washer. He looked at the drum, took off a circular wire, and said that mabye the drains were clogged, but maybe it needed a pump. He would bring one the next time just in case. He said he would schedule a time when another worker could come out and help lift off the dryer. I mentioned to him that it was vented through the attic. He expressed concern if the vents were plastic. I was not sure. Found out they are aluminum NOW IT GETS UGLY> Two days later, Jeff appeared and said Aaron was coming. He did not say he was the owner, only that he was the vent specialist. I told him we have had no problems in the past 15 years with the venting system. He said, "Well then it should be okay". He went up stairs and pulled the washer and dryer out. and began to grumble about, This was impossible. When my husband when upstairs, he told him it was a job he would not do, because of liability if , in the future, the washing machine would leak. He was quite irate and rude to my 81 year old husband. He claimed no one told him that the venting was in the attic. (Not True). He psushed the washer dryer partially back in, (Not how he found it) and he stormed out of the house, did say he would not charge us. I did not know at first , what had happened and wondered if Aaron was coming yet. My husband told me that he was talkig about liabilty. I called t he store and was told the owner could not talk to me for an hour. I called back and got a nice receptionist and explained I did not know if Aaron was coming. Jeff came on the line, and was rude to me...saying he would not tell me anything until I told him what my husband said. After I said, my husband mentioned liability, he went on to again say no one told him about the attic venting, and if the washer leaked he might have the liability. He said Aaron was not coming. I recalled the next day when I wondered where the metal ring was that Aaron had taken off and complaianed that he had not put the dryer and washer back as he found it, and has managed to disconnect the dryer vent in the process. He emailed me back and said Aaron never took anything and I should call him again but call his LAWYER!. I later found the metal ring as Jeff had taken items off the top of the dryer and put them in the adjacent bedroom. I contacted another service, my son took the dryer off with my husband and t he man cleaned the washer in 1/2 hour and left and did a perfect job. He also put back the metal ring that Aaron had taken off.

Arrived promptly both times. Ordered part and fixed very quickly. Charges seemed very fair. Aron is a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call them again.

The problem turned out to be quite complicated. Aaron had to take the entire dryer apart, order a part and come back. He finished the job promptly, was courteous and professional, and carefully explained the problem.
