The repair guy was a no-show for the three hour window I waited for them when they were supposed to install a part they had ordered. I took off work for the appointment and now I still have a broken washer. I texted with the company during the window they were supposed to show up, asking when they would arrive. They confirmed that they were coming but they never did. After the no-show, I called and spoke to a woman (owner's wife) at Champion who said that the part did not arrive on time today and this is why they did not show up. I was irritated that I had to call them to figure out what was going on! She was rude and kept talking over me and said that they only work 8-5 (my work hours) and can't come outside of those hours to fix an issue this issue which they caused. I do NOT recommend this company. UPDATE: Just spoke with the owner. He was upset that I wrote a review before talking to him, even though the woman I spoke to (his wife) said he was not available to talk. His biggest concern seemed to be the review, not fixing the issue or apologizing for the no-show appointment. I told him I wrote an honest review of what happened. Frankly, after the unfortunate conversation with his wife I considered the discussion over. The owner's fix for the situation was to install the parts but have me pay for parts and service ahead of time. I declined, obviously. Why would I give someone money ahead of time who was a no-show for the last appointment? Given their inefficient business processes and the confrontational nature of the owner and office staff, I would never work with this company again. Also, I found it strange that the owner kept trying to blame FedEx for not having the part delivered on time. I pointed out he should not have his staff make appointments without having the parts on hand and they definitely should have called me to tell me what was happening, but he did not want to hear it. He kept saying "there is no way we can make you happy. You already posted a review". The negative reviews on various sites seem to say the same thing: great technician (Aaron, he was great!) but if there is an issue and you have to deal with the owner / office staff - it is a nightmare. Not worth it when there are so many other companies to choose from.

Well. Technician did diagnostics, informed us of price to repair, and advised of several brands to look at for replacement. Purchases new washer due to age and cost of fixing old one.

I couldn't be more happy with both customer service and appliance repair provided by Champion! They provided an upfront quote based on my description of applicances and issues I was experiencing and scheduled an appointment within a few days. Their repair tech Aaron called 15 minutes before scheduled arrival to confirm and completed repairs in short order. He was polite, had great interpersonal skills and, most important of all, was a super skilled technician. He requested my input regarding appliance issues and then was quickly able to diagnose and repair. I give Aaron and Champion my highest recommendations - and I'm a tough sell. If you have an applicance issue, call Champion ASAP!

I ended up going with another group because before someone even came to the house to look at it, they tried to tell me that my problem was having my washing machine plugged into a GFCI outlet (which is all that is by code put in a laundry room). Since their free advice was awful, I decided not to explore what kinds of recommendations would come with paying them.

Very professional; gave me an estimate before starting and completed the job quickly.

Diagnosis was done in less than 10 minutes, compressor worn out, coolant leaking, would require complete rebuild, too expensive to repair. Technician also recommended most reliable brand of compressor to check for on future refrigerator purchase.

The service person called and was able to come earlier than the appointment. He explained to me what was happening with the barrel and fixed it immediately. I thought it would be a long service call, but, was fixed right away. I also had a foot stool that I had not been able to tighten the screws on and he also did that for me. GREAT JOB.

Appointment was made then cancelled as they were unable to do the repairs. Freezer was built in and they only handle free standing. Sad waste of time.

Ancient Kitchen-Aid dishwasher developed nasty leak after I had to move it to clean under it. They were ready to get somebody to me very quickly, but I was forced to delay due to conflicts. The scheduling people Barbara and Naomi were very nice, professional and responsive - going to come lengths to assist me in locating the model information on its long-faded label. One the appointed day, Aaron arrived on schedule and called ahead to let me know when he'd be there. He answered my questions, pointed out some items I didn't think about, repaired the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. All in all - a rock solid experience. I've set them as a contact in my phone and will absolutely be using them again. Thank you for everything.

Not sure what you mean by how did it go - how was the service? He gave a quote to tell us what repair needed to be done. He was prompt and courteous.

Aaron was great, as was Champion--they were here less than 24 hours after my call, and despite my stove being a goner, Aaron efficiently fixed the issue with the fridge, was helpful and courteous as well!

Had an initial problem, but they came back promptly to fix it.

The person that answered the phone was great—she quoted me a price for the cleaning ($189) and then, when she saw from a previous call I had made that I was an Angie’s List member, mentioned that there was a discount. Jeff arrived, explained the device and completed the cleaning in about an hour. He let me know, based on how restricted out air flow was, when the next service should be and let me know they would send a reminder postcard. I would highly recommend Champion for this service.

Jeff is great. This is the 2nd time we've hired him and we'll happily do it again. He's upbeat and conversational and loves what he's doing. He explains what he's doing and why, which builds confidence and trust. He had to work around a newly installed water pipe (for steaming) which made moving the dryer tricky. He didn't complain a bit, just worked the problem until he found a solution. Highly recommended!

Called early Thursday afternoon. Told I would be called back by the owner Jeff. Assumed it would be that day. Was not contacted until the following Monday at noon. We had moved on as needed help much sooner. No explanation provided for what I consider a delayed response. Surprised as mostly glowing reviews provided for this vendor.

The office staff was helpful and friendly in setting up the appointment. The service technician Arron was polite, friendly and punctual - he knew just what to do and completed the repair in a short amount of time. I was very happy with the service, and would use them again.

They were very efficient. They figured out the problem right away and they did not try to gauge us. They were quick, thorough, and honest. I would use them again in the future.

The place with the parts sent one too short and so we had to reorder it. Appliance Parts didn't make any money on me but were quite patient and we got the right part.
