+ -1 moreI knew where the problem was (in the line outside my home) and told the very polite and clean young man that came to my house. He tried to clear it by sending a snake through the toilet (far end of the house). So then he pulled the toilet, causing a delightful mess (most of which he did clean up, mostly). Ultimately, he drilled a hole into the cap leading to the outside line, drained the line, and tried to cleared the blockage. Six hours after he arrived, he conceded defeat, asked if there was someone with whom I could stay until after the holidays, charged me a set fee, packed up and left my home. First thing the following Monday, my regular plumber (O'Leary) came out and cleared the line in under 15 minutes.
Description of Work: Twas the day before Christmas...and a blockage in the main line to the sewer was blocked causing the line to leak in the basement, the toilets to refuse to flush, and water to rise into the bathtub. Merry Christmas to me. My regular plumber was fully booked, so I called the closest plumber that was open.

Description of Work: Technicians were not fully prepared to address the issue for which they were hired when they arrived. | |The technicians did attempt to "upsell" services. There is a fine line between providing professional advice and upselling. The technician seemed overly interested in the latter. | |Their advice cost me more and required me to perform a greater percentage of the work that I was hoping to contract for. In short, I got less work for more money. | |I might hire them again, but I'd definitely shop around. | |The job was ultimately completed for the amount they estimated with no real hassle. I just wasn't happy with the process. It could be personal preference.

Description of Work: When I called to discuss their rate, they would only tell me their trip charge rate ($99 I think) and then not tell an hourly rate. Once they get there they will give you a quote on the work to be done. At that point you are kind of locked in as the trip charge is non-refundable. I know what needs to be done will take less than an hour. I have another firm coming that is charging $85 for the first hour flat rate. With Master I would be paying the $99 plus probably another hour charge, so maybe double the cost.

+ -1 moreOur technician,Jeff, did a great job with everything. He explained everything he was doing and gave us advise on how to not have the same recurring issues in the future. He was punctual and professional no complaints.
Description of Work: Jeff came out and repaired many things inside our home. He replace a pipes in our shower and rebuilt our shower valve. He also fixed the cold water in our bathroom and kitchen. He also replaced the aerator in the kitchen sink.

Description of Work: Un-clogged a toilet drain, they were only there just over an hour and was completely shocked by $800. Very expensive! Beware.

Their prices tend to be on the high end even though I had I $20.00 coupon and we areand quot;Club Membersand quot; and receive a savings for that. the work took about an hour to complete. The receptionist when you call to schedule an appointment is very pleasant to work with. She will call to confirm appointments and call the day of scheduled job to give you an estimate for the repairman's arrival time.
Description of Work: Cleaned out a 2" drain line that was clogged in the basement causing the utility sink to fill up with water. Also replaced a cap on the plastic pipe that was leaking.
