Description of Work: Jendusa Design and Engineering, Inc. was punctual, professional, and provided a quality foundation inspection report. The foundation inspection report was to address a deflecting wall and settling concrete slab. The Jendusa structural engineer completed the inspection and report while onsite totaling 2 hours. I would use Jendusa again for any structural issues requiring an engineer.

Description of Work: I requested an assessment of water seepage in my basement and suggested options for resolving the problem. This company sent out a structural engineer who reviewed the areas of seepage, took measurements of the pitch of the driveway adjacent to the house and prioritized three probable solutions. He wrote a detailed report of his findings that I can use when I select contractors to do the repairs he suggested. He was professional, efficient and courteous. The fee was fair for the service provided.

 + 1 moreI had a basement wall that developed a crack and also had another basement wall that was tipping in. James Morris an engineer with Jendusa engineering came over and determined that the wall was tipping in by 1 1/4 inch, but, that the basement was quite sound. He said that digging was unnecessary and that the walls could simply be braced. With that advice in writing, I called the Menomonee Falls building inspector who gave her ok for the bracing. This saved us about $5000!
Description of Work: inspected wall crack and tipping wall in basement and recommended repairs.

Description of Work: Our foundation has a number of problems and we were advised by a contractor friend to have a structural engineer look at the problem. The engineer came today, did an inspection, and provided me with a detailed report showing what we need to do and what we can expect to pay.

 + -1 moreMr. Jendusa is very seasoned, experienced and also owns a remodeling company. We are in the early stages of the lawsuit but so far we are very impressed with Mr. Jendusa and his staff.
Description of Work: Jim Jendusa came to our house to inspect it for a lawsuit we are involved in with the general contractor who did a large 1,850 sq. ft. addition to our house. He will be serving as an expert witness on our behalf.

 + -1 moreThis was an excellent experience, both in terms of the company's responsiveness (at holiday time no less!) and the work performed. We are now enjoying our finished kitchen with no worries that we have any unsafe conditions in terms of beams, load-bearing walls or other structural issues.
Description of Work: Conducted inspection and made recommendations as to structural reinforcement needed in the ceiling areas of a kitchen remodel. Made a follow-up visit to ensure work had been done according to engineering specifications outlined by Jendusa.

 + -1 moreInitially has a little problem getting an appointment, but that was because of his workload and my short timeline. Jim showed up on time on a day he usually takes off from work. He was very professional and technically competent. He spent a lot of time explaining the problems and the fixes. Jim is a Professional Engineer and Board member of the Wisconsin Area Foundation Repair Professionals (www.wafrc.com) and wrote the tech specs for Foundation Repair in Southeastern Wisconsin; something that previously had been left up to individual contractors, and therefore somewhat lacking. I would not hesitate to use him again. I was so impressed; I will consider his design build firm to perform some remodeling work.
Description of Work: Jim provided a Foundation Inspection Report and estimate of repair cost plus the tech specs a contractor should use to make the repairs to a basement that had major structural problems and leaks. He identified the cause of the damage and the repairs necessary make the foundation sound and stop water intrusion.
