Description of Work: I bought a one year service contract for fall and spring (furnace and air conditioner) annual service. I had just bought this house and needed to know about the furnace. Vendor showed up on time, was clearly knowledgable, told me about the furnace I had and didn't try to upsell me on more services. I plan on sticking with him.

I contacted K Komfort services on Sunday and they arrived on Monday. The price was below what I have paid in the past. Steve showed up at the agreed time and was very courteous and professional in his work. He was extremely conscious of removing his shoes when going through the house even though I told him he didn't have to do that. :) He was very thorough in his explanation of the work he did and informed me about the condition and life expectancy of my heating units. He arranged for a follow up call in the spring to work on the AC and check the filters after this coming winter. This is another winner for me since and quot;findingand quot; Angie's list a few weeks ago (OK, so my daughter told me I should sign up). I look forward to dealing with more top A and quot;Angie's listand quot; people in the future.

I had Burant heating and air conditioning company do a maintance on furance and air check up.Our air contioner had no freon there was a leak,Alex told me there were 3 options and the cost could be $350.00-$750.00 or get a new unit,so I said I would wait and talk to my husband.Thank goodness I did I joined Angies List and found K Komfort and someone was watching above they were Great from Jane who answered the phone to Jeff who runs the business to the owner that came to the house.Not easy to find people that care and do the job right.Thank You for being Honest and Helpful.

Described above. Highly, highly recommend this company. I have used many others over 20 years. None came close to this great company. If this company was woman, I would marry her now!
Description of Work: My old furnace was 24 years old. It literally died on 3/15. I called K. Komfort and they were at my house within the hour. They quickly assessed the problem, gave me options. I chose a new furnace and again they gave me three options. It could have been replaced within 24 hours but I waited another day. They were here on time and I had a new energy efficient furnace, with excellent pricing, superb cleanup and very friendly technicians.

It went VERY WELL, Eugene was punctuation and professional. He knew how to diagnose (humidifier was not getting water, thus not humidifying the house) and fix the problem (checked the existing valve, and re-tapped another thus supplying water to the humidifier) . He was in and out in ~30 minutes.

2 units were done on separate days. The basement unit was completed without a problem. The upper unit service was less satisfactory. The technician who came by looked at the unit, but said it could not be cleaned because it was laying on its side and seemed more interested in replacing the unit solely based on age. It may be true that he couldn't clean it because of this, but it doesn't make sense that it would be installed in a manner that makes it unserviceable. My guess is that it most likely is just a little extra work.

According to our records, only one service call for a furnace tune up was scheduled. Our technician looked at the second unit as a courtesy to the customer at the same time as the service on the first unit was performed. Multiple attempts were made to contact the customer and try to discuss or resolve the issue, but unsuccessfully.

Cleaning was good. Inspection was incomplete.
Description of Work: Service was cleaning/tune up of a small combination AC/Furnace. Technician spent a good amount of time and appears to have done a good job cleaning. The negative is he was unable to figure out how to access the system's heat exchanger and exhaust vent to clean and inspect them. I've had half a dozen other technicians service this unit over the years and none had any problem removing the panels to do that so the K Komfort tech was not fully trained for these smaller systems. Despite not being able to see it, he also stated he believed the heat exchanger was rusted and I should consider replacement to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Since I rarely use the AC, other inspections (including last year) have always found the heat exchanger to be in perfect condition, so I must now consider hiring someone else to perform a full inspection.

I initially met Eugene when he came out to fix my old furnace. Eugene was personable, friendly, prompt and understanding. This is what led me to do more business with him. K Komfort did a GREAT job installing my new furnace and A/C. They all were professional and prompt. Eugene sat down with me and helped me understand his selection and my options. He and I worked to figured out the best HVAC package specifically for my house and our needs. The inspections were setup and conducted in a reasonable timeframe and Eugene made it work around our vacation schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend Eugene and K Komfort to anyone.
Description of Work: Eugene Krol and K Komfort installed brand new A/C and Furnace (replaced furnace). K Komfort also provided a better clearance for my furnance intake and exhaust pipes.
