We found the company on a Living Social offer. Here are the details of that offer (verbiage from the company/Living Social ad): - If you missed spring cleaning, you're probably in need of summer scouring - Bring in cleaning experts to tackle dirty spaces in a two- or four-hour house cleaning session - Thorough sessions cover chores from wiping down kitchen counters to polishing up chrome fixtures - Let your home sparkle with the detailed approach of professional cleaners We ordered a 4 hour session thinking that would be plenty of time to perform a once-over for a house that is slightly less than 1700 sq. feet. The cleaning person assigned to our home arrived and asked if we had any specific tasks we would like her to take care of. We gave her a list of key items, but noted that we were just moving in and also had some recent work done, so we wanted an general cleaning. When we returned home after the cleaning session was done, we found numerous things untouched, including some things we specifically asked to be cleaned. We were disappointed, so we contacted the office. It was at this time we were informed that the 2-hour and 4-hour sessions available from Living Social were only for specific tasks, not whole house cleaning. We were also informed that if we wanted a whole house cleaning, we would have needed to request that service outside of the Living Social offer so the company could come out for an estimate. I was not satisfied with this answer since nowhere in the offer did it state these terms or clarify the difference in the services they offer. I asked to speak to the owner. She re-stated what we had already been told. I explained to her again that this was not clear in the offer. She said there was nothing she could do. This was even more disappointing because, of course, there are numerous things she could have done. I wasn't expecting a refund as I had already received a good deal. But what she could have offered and what would have been smart to offer (so we would use them again) is a discount off of a future cleaning or even a no-charge extension of time for a future cleaning. She continued to offer nothing more than apology for the miscommunication. A tip to the owner (and other small business owners) from this small business owner: You can almost always find a way to satisfy your customer; much of the time it will cost you little or nothing, yet will mean a lot to them. It is priceless if you can turn a situation around and encourage a customer to return.

I purchase a Living Social. Actually I purchased two. I have been buying Groupons and Livign Social for cleaning services so I could try them out and except for one other I have not been pleased. So I was skeptical when Lynn came today. Well, she showed up on time which is a plus. She asked me for a list of things I wanted done and the order in which I wanted them done. So I made out the list. When her 4 hours were up she showed me what she couldn't get done. Which is a very good habit for cleaning Services to get into. Otherwise, when they leave and you go around checking and see stuff missed, you think that they just didn't do a good job.I finally went around to check later on in the day and all I can say is she did a fantastic job. There are little things that really good cleaning people do that make it extra special. She got our shower door clean and that is a feat in itself. I have another on scheduled for September 28th and I want Lynn to be my cleaning person that day. She is really a good worker. Thank you to Lynn and to your company for hiring good people.

Excellent experience - I have two more "deal" coupons left with Peace of Mind, and I cannot wait for those scehduled dates! My husband even commented how wonderful the house looked, and he had previously grumbled about spending any money on housekeeping. Excellent experience - highly recommend!

Heather is great - I have had other people from POMC clean my home, but I know Heather is my "normal" person and she is wonderful. We have great communication, and have a rhythm down where I can leave things that need to go to Goodwill, or a watch battery replaced, or whatever, and she takes care of it all. She has been such an asset over the last 6 months or so. I put today's date as the most recent service date, but really, I've been suing POMC for a while now and really like their service. They remember the little things, and keep copious notes about the personalities/needs/individualism of each client so that each client is taken care of as they need to be taken care of. My quirks about shoes being organized or when the sheets need to be changed on the bed are different than someone else's who may have kids, etc. ... and so they make an effort to get to know you as a person and take care of you. I highly recommend them.

The team at Peace of Mind does a fantastic job of meeting our needs. My husband and I are very busy professionals with 2 small children and we don't always have time to get to our to-do list. That's where Peace of Mind comes in. We have someone come by our home twice per week to do the extra things on our to-do list. We are less stressed, our house stays cleaner, and best of all - we can totally customize each visit to accomplish what we want handled. They've done everything from toilets, to window fingerprints, to folding a basket of laundry that we can't get to.

This service is a dream come true! The owner is very professional and personable and spends a lot of time going through her services and explaining everything they do when cleaning a home. She gives you an estimate and then sticks to it. She worked for one of the larger services previously before starting her own business, so she learned the correct way to clean a home. She's very dedicated to customer service, and so were the two employees that came with her. I think I'll be a happy customer for a long time to come. Believe me, if you're at your wits end because your house never looks as good as it could, give Jenny a call. You won't regret it.
