+ -1 moreIt was a good experience working with Peace of Mind. They followed up promptly with emails both before and after the cleaning. During the cleaning of our kitchen a clock fell off the wall and broke a bowl. The cleaner wrote us a note of apology explaining what had happened. The company offered to replace the bowl as well. The cleaning itself seemed pretty thorough. I would use this provider again.

+ 0 moreMy dealings with Piece of Mind's management were responsive, cordial, and accommodative. A to A+ From here on in, my review focuses on the cleaning team sent to my house (Shannon and Tori). They arrived on time, with a positive "let's get to work" attitude. Amazingly--and any of you who, like me, have a house so filthy and cluttered from months of neglect please take note??Shannon and Tori were completely unfazed by the daunting task of cleaning up this mess. And not once did they make a disparaging remark (e.g., "wow, you've really let the place go, haven't you?"). This cleaning team did whatever needed to be done, from taking out the mounds of accumulated newspapers to cleaning up the cat throw up that unfortunately accumulates in my house on a daily basis. Again, no complaints, no criticisms, just "get the job done." And when they were done, the parts that they had time to clean sparkled. So an A+ for Shannon and Tori. Next up: I plan to take advantage of Piece of Mind's "concierge" services. With their help, I think I can get my house organized again, so that's it's manageable for a single professional with very limited time.

+ -1 moreThe provider showed up at the scheduled time even during the snowstorm we were having. We booked a 3 hour cleaning service and she managed to get everything done by herself, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. I know I've cleaned the same amount she did and it took me much longer than 3 hours. I would definitely use Peace of Mind Concierge again.

+ -1 moreGreat! Floors were washed, everything dusted. Under the bed and couch were cleaned and she called me to say I still had some time coming so could I think of something else she could do. I assked her to lift up the couch cushions and vaccuum under them and wash the counter tops. She did that and said I still had some time coming. I tilld her I didn't have anything else to do so she packed up and left. The real shock came when a lady from the company called me to say that I hadn't used up all my time yet so I had another cleaning coming at no charge. So we scheduled that. The thoroughness and professionalism of this provider was amazing - definitly more than I expected. I will, in fact hie them again. I would never have expected that this would be a really enjoyable experience but that's exactly what it was. Great customer service!

+ -1 moreSo/so cleaning; we've replaced them within the year. Communications not the best, messages have gone unreturned. Initially, was Told we would have same employee to clean each visit; a few calls had to be made before that was established. Meanwhile, each cleaning had different gal, some here for what seemed all day (one went into dinner hour). When we finally got consistent person, we went to bi monthly cleaning for scheduling, etc. She was nice, unobtrusive, but cleaning wasn't stand out, sparkling clean. Nor could she finish the regular service within the 3 hours the office scheduled. I left messages to discuss, but, again, no return call from Manager (claimed she didn't not receive my voicemails).

+ -1 moreI purchased time through Angie's List for Peace of Mind Concierge and am so glad I did! I was contacted very quickly to set up a time for the housecleaning appointment, which was set up for just a few days in the future. No long wait! It was suggested that I make a list of the top 5 things that needed attention. This was a good suggestion as it made me think about what I wanted done instead of a generic "clean the house" request. The two employees arrived within the estimated time window. We reviewed my list, I got out of their way, and they set to work. I was very impressed with their speed and thoroughness. I have a very hairy dog who sheds a lot (we love her, but bloodhounds...wow!). I'm also particular about how I wanted the wood floors cleaned as they are waxed, not sealed. The employees paid attention to my requests. They did everything on the list and even a few things that weren't as time allowed. (Excellent things, like cleaning dog nose prints from windows!) All in all, I was so pleased and very impressed. I feel so much better with such a clean house and can't wait for them to return.

+ -1 moreIt was good. I didn't used it all but that was nice because I only used 4 hours and then I got another back. They didn't use the 5 hours all at once. Their minimum was two hours so I got to pay for another hour. I got what I deserved. It was fine. Their only downside is they're a little bit more expensive than everybody else. They did a great job.

+ -1 moreWe were having a first birthday part for our twins and I needed the house cleaned up for guests. I thought I was going to have 1 person for 5 hours instead I had 2 people for 2 1/2 hours. Not a problem, the girls did everything on the list I asked them to. We left them in the house alone for 2 1/2 hours to give them some space, when we came home they were sitting in their car waiting for us to return. I think the girls did an amazing job, everything was cleaned to my liking. The did break a small wooden letter "K" I had on the wall, but I fixed it with some wood glue. They left a note apologizing for it, so no problem. I'd definitely hire this company again. I was very pleased with them.

+ -1 moreI had this appointment scheduled for weeks. The day before the service was scheduled I received the first phone call confirming my appointment. Then, later in the day I received one trying to reschedule. I really couldn't do it as I had someone else coming to shampoo the carpets after the cleaning was supposed to be done. They worked on their schedule and said they would work it out. Then, the day of the service (for which I had taken off of work) they called to say the person scheduled to come do the cleaning couldn't make it. After I mentioned I heard about them on Angie's List they worked out sending 2 people for 1/2 of the scheduled time. At this point, I just needed someone to come. This was a frustrating experience and the cleaning was less than satisfactory. I ended up going back through the house and re-cleaning several areas myself.
Description of Work: I contacted Peace of Mind concierge to do a deep cleaning on a house we had just closed on. They cleaned the floors, dusted woodwork/trim, cleaned kitchen and bathrooms.

+ -1 moreMy experience with the company was unacceptable, they quickly wanted payment but refused to provide the exact service I requested for that payment. That is not good business practice Peace of Mind Concierge Service.
Description of Work: Did not complete the checklist of cleaning that I agreed to pay for, I paid what was asked of me but did not get the service requested from the provider. I was asked to pay additional for what I originally confirmed I wanted completed. I refused to pay any additional, 2 cleaners were sent for 6 hours (equivalent to 12 hrs). I called and spoke to a person I assumed was the owner who refused to send some one out to complete the job without additional payment, my husband also placed a call to the same person and she told him she needed to speak to someone and would get back to him it's 2 days later and she has not called back. The sales consult should have added an additional person to the job, the person I spoke to for which I will not name and I assumed was the owner wanted to place the blame on me by saying I told the cleaners they could leave, yes I did after being at my home with the cleaners for 6 hours and plans for the evening I did rightfully that was the max time I told the sales consultant I was willing to pay for at no point did she say the work could not be completed. I know that that was ample time on a house that was not a nasty house to clean. I know the person I spoke to will respond to this because she told me she would, what I know is she did not provide me with good customer service I feel the company was deceptive and she snatched my money quickly when I told her I was going to stop payment on the check. Bottom line is I did not get what I paid for ( I have my email and the checklist from the sales rep with the time frame and amount they wanted me to pay, which was paid reluctantly ). So rather then send someone out to finish the job she preferred to lose business and referrals. Not a wise decision and VERY POOR customer service from the person who made this decision. Beware of the "estimated" cost and time to clean your home, and the company not wanting to make good on what the customer requested and pays for.

I do wish she would have spent a little more time in the bathroom. The area between the tub and sink was missed and the wood floors could have used a little more cleaning.

They also vacuumed everywhere including three levels of rug and my huge stair case. They cleaned the furniture, stove, refrigerator and other furniture. They did everything including the windows. Everything I ask them to do they did.

+ -1 moreWe have rusty water that leaves stains in the sinks and tub/shower. Their product doesn't clean it so I give them what we use and how we use it. They say the stains don't come completely out but over time with continued cleaning they will fade. My husband comes home and has the shower sparkling is 15 minutes. Each time the crew leaves (different people) I find something not cleaned. Items are not always moved, just dusted around leaving dust streaks - Items not always dusted either - throw rugs not moved or vacuumed under - areas of rooms not vacuumed. I have a cat and she sometimes leaves a hairball where we don't see it right away. I know they don't touch stuff like that but they just leave it without saying anything.
Description of Work: Bi-weekly house cleanings. I have used this company bi-weekily for 4 months now. Each time something is not cleaned to my satisfaction. If you call they offer to send someone back to fix the issue. I talk with the people when they are here about what still isn't to my liking.
