Excellent! They were professional, careful with surrounding landscape and created a beautiful, new design. We've attempted to get bids on this job for 3 years. Other contractors would either not respond to calls or give ridiculous bids ( $5,100- $19,000) for the exact same job. This year, we contacted 3 cement contractors from Angie's List and all 3 bids were under $4,000. We went with Cusatis based on previous reviews and our confidence in their ability after meeting with them. We hired them in late winter and they were already booked through August. However, with the warm spring, they were able to start several weeks earlier than expected. They are definitely worth the wait.

Job exceeded all expectations! Marcus and his crew were very hard working and meticulous. Marcus made sure all the prep work was correct, the new concrete was minimally at a 5" thickness through out, and properly pitched and sealed. With heavy rains last summer, water was finally running away from our home and to the ditches, unlike the original driveway. True professionals. Many neighbors and friends have commented on how good the driveway looks. I highly recommend Cusatis Construction if you want your concrete job done correctly, looking great, and reasonably priced.

Cusatis arrived on time and provided a quote quickly. They came in at the cheapest by around 20% I think. I needed 5 front concrete steps replaced with the intent of running the same slope in wood steps up to the front porch. It was very important to me that the same slope (height & depth) was the same on the concrete steps and wood stairs and I asked that that request be included in the quote. It was. Cusatis scheduled the job for about 2 months into the future. They didn’t contact me at all as the date approached. I called the day before and they confirmed that they would arrive between 7-8AM. They arrived a little late but it was fine. Mike reviewed the job with me and he said that he measured out the rise and run of the total steps and said the pour would create equal steps up to the porch. I left for the day and the job was complete when I returned home. The steps were not poured correctly. The concrete steps were standard size and not measured correctly to create the same step from the sidewalk to the porch as promised and quoted. Also, the concrete was poured on top of the existing sidewalk so I knew that it would crack with the first winter. I also noticed that the concrete truck’s tires put large depressions in the lawn next to the road because they didn’t put plywood down to protect the lawn. I expressed my concerns to Mike and he agreed to take $100 off of the of cost of the project for “customer satisfaction”. As expected, the concrete poured over the existing sidewalk all cracked and broke off over the winter because they didn’t pour the concrete right. They needed to stop the pour a half of inch before meeting the sidewalk and put an expansion joint in between the pour and the existing sidewalk. The expansion joint was on the quote too. Mike said the cracking was “unavoidable” so that just shows he has no idea what he is doing. Mike apologized for the crushed lawn (still a problem in Spring) and said he would visit the job and fix it. That conversation was 3 months ago and he never returned to fix the lawn. I said that he could just throw some top soil down to fill in the depressions but he never followed through. This job was amateur hour from start to finish. Mike should be embarrassed with this job that will haunt the front of my house for 50 years until it is corrected by someone that knows how to measure and correctly pour stairs so they don’t crack to heck the first winter. Find someone else to pour your concrete stairs.

The consultant that came to give a quote questioned the need for a replacement for our 8-year old driveway. After discussions, we agreed to hold off until the condition deteriorated some years from now. I was pleasantly surprised by the honest input. In my opinion, the credibility and integrity of the firm is exemplary.

The crew was great, timely, helpful, on time and they took time to talk concrete with us.

Great job pouring our concrete driveway and patio. They took our ideas and created a practical design. The whole team was professional and did great work very quickly. We are very happy with the final product.

The process was perfect, and so was the work. Marcus contacted me for the estimate, and later on for the scheduled date. The day of the work he and his team arrived on time and did their work quickly and efficiently. No problems at all, and I'm very satisfied with the work.

Cusatis was wonderful. They had a large variety of colors and patterns to choose from for our stamped concrete patio. They were very easy to work with and were able to get us on their schedule earlier than expected! When planning the shape and size of our patio they had excellent suggestions but stressed that it all was our decision.

They did a great job! Arrived on time, everything poured on the first day, and thorough clean up. Back the next day to remove the framing. They were all very easy to work with, particularly Brigette. And they had the best price quote from the 4 highly-rated concrete companies I checked. I would recommend them to anyone, and will use them again to replace a back concrete patio in the future.

Excellent experience and fantastic results. Started on Tuesday and finished on Friday. Did project in two stages so we could enter and exit the house. Crew cleaned up every day and was very diligent. Project requirements evolved as I ran into complications with the city if I completely replaced my front stoop which was in the original contract. Mr Mark Cusatis reassessed the stoop work and recommended patching cracks and chips and using a color slurry since there were no structural problems with it. Upon arrival on the first day, Mr Marcus Cusatis, who was the onsite project manager, reviewed the sidewalk surrounding my house and recommended replacing it as it was draining toward the house. Also, the back one step stoop was high which has always been an irritation. Both adjustments netted out to my original estimate. I never knew I could love concrete work! The final results look fantastic, I no longer have to deal with the jankey approach to my garage, occasional leaking into the basement, puddles building up after each rain, the aforementioned high step, and I know snow plowing and hand shoveling are going to be a lot easier this winter. I live on a corner lot, so all the work is visible to neighbors and passers by. Since they completed the job yesterday, I've had three people stop to ask me who did the work. I had gotten to know Cusatis construction through Angie's list. I had submitted my bid for the above job form the top 3 Angie's list providers after my bad experience from Deangelis Construction ( pl read the review posted here). Mark came in to do the estimate. Very personable and friendly and knew what he was doing. Of the 3 providers he quoted me the best price and used rebar for concrete rather than the wire mesh that was deemed standard. He wasn't a believer in fiber mesh concrete and nor was I, so went with him. Also my front porch had too wrought iron ornate lamps and a stone planters. Mark was the only one who was able to keep the ornate lamps and the planters while tearing out the porch. All the others wanted to just tear it out and pour the new porch. They are so busy that when I got the estimate in June I was given an October start date and they assured me that if it turned out to be too cold, they will not pour the concrete. 1 wk before the job, they had mentioned that if I wanted to check out the stamped concrete patterns, I could drop by their house which I did and was amazed with the different patterns all around their house. On the day of the job, they were prompt, came in at 7:30 am and went all in. Mark and his son Marcus went over the details and confirmed the overall plan. By 5 pm all my old concrete was removed and hauled away and the new forms were all in place. They were very careful in not damaging the front lamps and saving the front planters. It was a pretty big job and to see it tackled so easily and delicately impressed me. The next morning Marcus came in the morning and went over the stamped patterns and their orientation and by 2 pm they were all done with the whole job. Everything was cleaned up and except for the dust and waste water on the grass and plant which is expected, everything was back where it should be. They put in caution tapes out in the front so people wouldn't step on the new concrete. They went the extra mile of removing a pile of lannon stones that I had without any charge. Their work looks really good and hoping to enjoy my new patio and front porch for a long time. In a nutshell, you get what you pay for no despite the price being on the higher spider, the quality is there and so is the professionalism. Of the top 3 Angie's list providers Cusatis was the lowest with using rebar as standard. Also please make sure to ask for contraction/control joints for stamped concrete as they usually are not done standard but will help with the cracking. And Brigitte who handles all this is just awesome. Very personable and good to work with. I am so impressed with Cusatis that I already have another project lined up for them next spring. From the quote to the actual service, the company was amazing. Mark showed up early for the quote and also to begin the service. The work was done beautifully, finished as promised, and we are very pleased with the results. Brigitte was good to work with as well. We would definitely call them again.

I can't say enough good things about how professional they were. They were the only bidder to offer full rebar reinforcement in the driveway and yet their price was only slightly higher than other bids. They showed up exactly when promised, did the work swiftly and with great quality, and were great to work with. They even finished a day sooner than expected. Afterwards I found a spot on the side of the culvert where cement did not fully fill the form, thus leaving a gap I was concerned about. Marcus came back and not only filled the gap in, he also fixed a number of other very small imperfections on the side I wasn't even worried about. It just showed me they are very serious about their quality of work. I recommend them highly!

Came promptly to review work requested. Provided prompt proposal and answered all of our questions. Scheduled installation of new patio and removal of old in a timely fashion and installed new patio quickly and efficiently on date promised. Responded promptly to all questions after the job was complete. Nice people - professional work done promptly and efficiently and at a reasonable price.

found them on angiie's list. said they did small as well as large jobs, most wouldn't come out for small jobs. owner himself came out to do the estimate and said he would do the job between other jobs in the area. they do all the work themselves, no subcontractors. set up a sat. date to do the job. due to a scheduling error nobody showed up. called company and was first told it would be 2 to 3 weeks to reschedule. owner contacted me next day and said they would make good on the mix up. they came out Monday and did the job. they had to use wheelbarrows to get the cement through the skinny gate back into the yard. lot of work for a small job! finding guys who do the estimates, work, and follow up by themselves is a rare thing these days.

The project went very well. They were able to begin and complete our project much earlier than we were initially planning. Mark Cusatis (owner) explained everything in detail. Their work crew were very professional and they did what we feel was an excellent job.

The company is punctual, responsive and easy to communicate with. There was a misunderstanding as to how an existing railing system was being handled and they did their best to accommodate that, however they were unable to help. When we pointed out that they had dented the front storm door during the work, they paid for a new door and installation. The concrete porch and sidewalk look great and I am thankful they were able to complete the job relatively easily. The existing porch deck took longer to remove than expected and seeing as there is a root cellar under the porch the removal and repour were not the simplest, however they were still done in one day.

We are very satisfied with the services they performed on our driveway. Their price came in ~$700 less than another concrete company, but they went well above and beyond. We were originally scheduled to have the work done on June 2-3, but Brigitte called to see if they could move the job up to May 22nd, which worked great for our schedule. Not only did they do a fantastic job on what was quoted, but they also helped me by cutting extra paver stones I had for our patio so it would look nice with the widened driveway work they completed. They also removed a smaller slab on the side of our garage where we store our garbage & recycling bins with a larger one to accommodate the 3 bins we have. Mark & Brigitte were in communication every step of the way and they did a great job with cleanup. Mark even came back out the day after to clean up some additional sealant that over sprayed on to the siding. Very professional and I would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work!

It has held up alright through the winter so it looks like the pour was good. Some minor things could have been done better some joints do not match perfect so shoveling not perfectly smooth. A lot better than before. Driveway looks real nice have had compliments from neighbors on it.

Marcus was very accommodating and worked with us through the entire process. He was very clear about the scope of work and all steps required to complete the job. We are very pleased with the overall results.

When I contacted contractor through Angie's list, I promptly received a message from the contractor indicating they would call to schedule an appointment. That call came the same day as my inquiry. 4 PM was scheduled time for Mark to arrive to look at proposed job site. He was here at 4 PM sharp! That was Tuesday, and we received the bid plus additional notes & documentation today (Thursday - same week). Very impressed with the professionalism and timely contact. If we have the work done by this contractor, I will leave additional reviews!

The whole experience was awesome. The communication was great, the quote was fast and fair and the crew showed up exactly on time. They completed the job a day sooner due to good weather and the final invoice was prompt and fair. I highly recommend them

Response to request for quote was timely...quote was below others (2) who would only quote a higher minimum. Install date was agreed to and crew showed on time. Made one on site suggestion to the original plan, which was very simple and yet creative.

It went extremely well. The crew was on time and very responsive. They were delayed a day due to weather, but as soon as it cleared up, they returned to finish the job. We love the work they did, and would use them again.
