The salesperson was punctual, friendly and took the time to explain all the options available. After receiving several quotes from people rated highly on Angie's list, I researched the windows each person recommended installing. The windows being sold by all-american were of the top quality for their type, and were being sold for a price that was competitive with lower quality windows. The crew that arrived was friendly, punctual and efficient. They definitely seemed to take pride in their work and made sure that everything was right before they left. They maintained a clean job site the whole day, and cleaned everything up perfectly as they left. It's clear that All-American has this business down to a science. Everything they did seemed to follow a defined process, checklist, etc, all tailored to make sure that every question is answered, to set customer expectations and timelines, and follow-up to ensure that things were done right and that nothing was missed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs replacement window work done.

I thought that the quality was good, and the friendliness of the workers was very good also. I would use that company again in the future if I needed too.

Sales Rep: It started with the knowledge that Daniel has regarding windows and years of installation background. A week later, I called Daniel to follow up on several of my questions about the warranty and of course financing (which is very important). Daniel called me back that same day. I went to the Show room to test and see the windows how they work. I highly recommend doing so. Both the staff/receptionist were helpful in demonstrating the window and features. Installation: If you are fortunate to get the crew with Tim and Chris you’re going to enjoy these windows. Both were very respectful to me and worked with my tenant to accommodate his two dogs. The reason why it took 3 days was that I had a large casement window to be replaced and the fact that I had 20 additional windows. It was a big job. I would prefer to have the installers take their time and do it correctly. Rather than cranking out all 21 windows in one day and have them come back. After installation of each window, I would recommend that you test for any looseness of the latches before the installers leave for the day. One latch had several knicks that was either damaged by shipping or handling. This latch was replaced the next day. There were two screens that needed repair. There were a couple of windows that had black marks around the window frame. The black marks were removed either buy elbow grease or lightly with acetone. Most importantly, I was very impressed with the bronze (coil/flashing) around the windows. I had several windows (5) that had rotten wood around the window and sills. The installers replaced the wood and installed the bronze (coil/flashing). I really actually enjoy the bronze (coil/flashing) around the windows more than the windows. Because, the wood around the windows were in such bad shape. The bronze (coil/flashing) just makes the white windows pop out visually. The Clean up: Inside the installers placed mats around the work area. The outside was cleaned up at the end of each work day. I am satisfied. I would highly recommend All American Window and Door Co.

It turned out great. They gave clear estimates and did excellent work. They completed the job on time.

Regarding the cost, I regularly see ads for less expensive windows. However, the quality of the windows we got from this company is superior and worth the extra cost, in our opinion. The salesperson came to our house on 6/8/09 and the windows were installed on 7/22/09. The windows arrived about 2 weeks earlier than we were originally advised. We were very happy to have an earlier installation date. The installer had one assitant. They were able to do all of the work in one day.

Things went well. The quote went quickly. We ended up playing phone tag for a week with the person coming to do the final measurement. We were called numerous times by staff to make sure things were going as we had hoped. When the day came for the install, the crew was delayed a day because of the effects of weather and staffing on a previous job to our work. But they came right at 8 AM the next day and were done in under 2 hours -- thought they would need all day. The new door is great and everything looks perfect.

It was all a very positive experience. I'm not sure if I would give them a perfect or excellent rating, but they were very good across the board. I have had no problems with the products or the installation of them at all.

The experience overall was very good. It was a while ago that we actually used them, but the windows are of fine quality. The garden window, especially, is excellent. The company worked very well with us to top it all off.

I contracted with All American to replace 5 storm windows and 1 picture window. About 1-1/2 years ago they did the same thing for me and it was a good experience. The sales staff was very professional and responsive. The work was scheduled and they showed up on time. After they installed the windows, I discovered that they did not caulk any of the storm windows and the picture window was the wrong style window. In addition, they damaged some of my plants and bushes in the front of the house. They admitted the mistakes about the windows, and they came back to caulk and expedited an order for a new window. With the bushes, they said there was nothing they could do, since they did not have enough room to work. I would have been ok with it if they had told me when it happened rather than let me find them trampled. When the new window came in, they scheduled a time to come and replace the wrong window. After they had it installed, they admitted it was 1/2 inch too small all around, so they needed to order another window. I have them scheduled to come in a couple of days to replace the window again. I just hope they can get it right this time.

The experience was fine. We had one guy here, and we were amazed at how fast he finished it. It has been working fine since then, almost ten years!

The experience was great! We have continually used them for the doors, all being put in at separate times. The work was really good, and they did the job quickly and effectively. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. We will continue to use them.

Excellent, they were great, they were very prompt and punctual in all of there appointments, they did excellent work and their prices were the best we found. We feel like we got our money's worth.

The product was very good, and they were very polite and punctual. The only problem was that we had a slight problem with how the installation was done. They didn't do everything that I had requested, and I didn't feel like it was done the way I wanted it to be, but it was too late to get it taken care of or fixed.

I was at first convinced that the replacement window he offered would be alright. After he changed the price twice, and called me seven days later to say something needed adding to the order I had already decided I did not want the window. I realized I did not want the item because it did not match any other window in the house and also would have had a permanent color, not changeable for another home owner. I called the company to tell them that. The person who was supposed to come to measure the window for the actual replacement never called or came as promised. I therefore sent the contract back. Apparently, even tho they did not place the window order I relinquished the $300 down payment. I explained this to the company, but they insisted I call the salesman. He had done his job, and I do not agree it was with him I had to deal again.

The process for replacing a problem window was easy. However, I was disappointed that the company did not let me know a service fee was required. I found this out after the window was replaced and I was handed a bill. I felt deceived that other options were available, but I was not aware of them until after I talked to the service managers about my disappointment. Otherwise a decent company, but be cautious of "hidden" costs when dealing with this company.

They are true to their word. I was very pleased.

Very good experience with company. Sales staff was helpful and responsive during bidding process. Windows were ordered and delivered in four weeks. Installation crew was on time and installed all windows (including bay) in four hours. When we discovered that a piece of oak trim did not match the rest of the new trim, company sent someone to replace it. Overall very happy with their work and product.

Len was our salesman. He did not pressure us at all and gave us a quote without my wife being with me. Several companies require husband & wife for a quote which is inconvenient. We then spoke with Len at the showroom and were shown the windows with demonstration. Everyone was very honest and didn't try any offensive sales tactics. The installation was within the 6-8 weeks they had told us it would be. The installers (2) were friendly and extremely fast. They did all 18 windows and trim within 8 hours! Most of the work was done from the outside. The trim work was great. The results were above expectations. Would recommend this company to anyone. They mention that they take Visa, but only up to $2500, with the balance coming from a check.

WE HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEIR PRODUCT (EXTERIOR DOOR) HAS HELD UP VERY WELL & EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN QUITE A FEW YEARS SINCE IT WAS INSTALLED, THEY CONTINUE TO SERVICE IT HAPPILY.

MIXED RESULTS--WASN'T TOLD CLEARLY ABOUT THE NEED TO HAVE ELECTRICIAN BEFORE NEW WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED. CONTRACTORS CAME IN & WITHOUT ASKING OR LOOKING FOR ANY WIRES, CUT THE WALL OPEN AND KNOCKED OUT OUR POWER.

The work was done quickly and I was impressed with the clean-up after completion. The windows replaced were in pretty bad shape. They also took the old storm windows and any other refuse related to the project. The windows have also proven very weatherproof. While more expensive than some, when it comes to windows, you get what you pay for.

The windows are excellent quality. We no longer have condensation or ice on our windows/storms this winter. The new windows do block out much of the outside noise. Love being able to clean them easily from the inside and it will be wonderful to not change out storms every season. The installers did a nice job. They were polite and professional. Our job was a bit more complicated because the windows had to be installed from the inside of the house. This caused a lot more mess. My only complaint is that the installers didn't clean up the mess, however, they did apologize for it. We also have some caulking and touch up painting to do which we didn't expect. Overall, it was a positive experience. Quality windows and quality installation. I would recommend them if you need new windows.

I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. IT WAS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, SO MAYBE THEY HAVE IMPROVED SINCE. WINDOWS #1 AND #2 HAD BURNT GLASS. THEY DIDN'T NOTICE THIS DURING THE INSTALLATION. WINDOW #3 STILL ONLY CLOSES PROPERLY IF I PUSH UP ON ONE OF THE PANES. (BTW, THE INSTALLER SHOWED ME HOW TO PERFORM THIS TASK). WINDOWS #1 AND #2 WERE NOT MEASURED CORRECTLY EITHER AND AFTER SETTLING, THE LOCKS WOULD NOT WORK. THE OWNER, TERRI, WAS RUDE AND RELUCTANT ABOUT SENDING HER PEOPLE OUT TO FIX THIS. BASICALLY, THE WINDOWS ARE CRAP. THE GLASS MAY HAVE HIGH EFFICIENCY GLASS, BUT LITTLE DOES THAT HELP WHEN THE WINDOWS DO NOT FIT TOGETHER TIGHT AND THE COLD WIND BLOWS THROUGH. ALSO, THE SCREENS ARE FLIMSY. ONE GUY HAD TO COME BACK TO BEND THEM BACK INTO SHAPE, BUT OVER TIME THEY WARP AGAIN. THE SCREENS DON'T KEEP BUGS OUT BECAUSE THE BUGS JUST CRAWL THROUGH THE WARPED SIDE OF THE SCREEN.
