Chris was professional. Explained everything he would do and did it as agreed. He and his crew cleaned up at the end of each day. came on time or called if he was to be late. Our kitchen designer thought Mudslinger's work was excellent. The project took about a month.

I had a great experience with Chris Halverson and his associates at Mudslinger's. He responds best to phone calls rather than email. So, if you are trying to contact him I would telephone him. Chris came when he said he would, gave us a prompt quote and performed the work in a timely manner. If there was a change to a schedule or a question, he would text me immediately. I really appreciated this. I had him replaster a ceiling and wall in our guest bedroom and then paint the entire room. He did an excellent job in a challenging older home. He also repainted our den and repaired and painted the ceiling. His crew was very respectful and worked efficiently. They paid attention to cleaning up after they finished working each day and covered our floors etc. Based on my experience, I have more projects that I am engaging Chris and his crew to do right after the holidays. Anytime you have contractors in your home it can be a nightmare experience, but Chris made sure it was as quick and easy as possible.

Never did any work and never called back to get a quote started. *** UPDATE*** He did contact me 3 days after I had called him stating that he had some issues with his cell phone voice mail. My wife and I had called him 3 times over this period. I scheduled an appointment and Chris was 45min late. He did call, at the scheduled time, to let me know that he was running late but said that he would be at our house in 30min. After the appointment he contacted me with the quote over the phone. I specifically asked ,and gave him my email, for the quote to be emailed to me as I was gathering other quotes for the job. When I asked for a written quote he would not provide one but indicated that if we went with him that he could put something down on paper for us. His quote was also double then the other quotes that I had gotten. He also told me that he would also attempt to match some of the other quotes that we had gotten. Thats great but why not have a reasonable quote in the beginning.

We contracted for them to paint our entire interior. As they were working, they discovered that the joint above the fireplace had not been properly cornered when the condo was built back in 1975, and also that when the drywall was originally nailed in some areas instead of screwed in. As a consequence of poor initial construction, the ceiling line above the fireplace was separating and the nails that were used in the drywall were starting to pop out. They were so picky that they repaired the .ceiling joint above the fireplace so that it was not showing a big crack, and they dug out all the nails, replaced them with the proper drywall screws, and patched the wall. before they painted those areas. We have cathedral ceilings, so your eye is always drawn upward. They did such a perfect job of cutting in! All the employees were a pleasure to work with, and not only did they do a great job on the painting, but they did a few other miscellaneous items as well, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished.A little pricey, but a good experience overall. I would highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a new house and in the course of remodeling needed to have some walls textured. I called a couple of companies for quotes. I spoke to Chris at Mud Slingers and he was able to come to the house the next day for a quote. After showing him the area I wanted textured and the type I was thinking, he had some really good ideas about how different textures could create different looks and hide some imperfections in the walls. I took his advice and hired him for the job. I spoke to him for the first time on a Tuesday, he gave me the quote on Wednesday, and started work on Friday. By Saturday he and the team finished and it looks amazing. Very flexible on scheduling and punctual on timing. Spraying is typically very messy / dusty but they did a great job of keeping the areas sealed off. Very happy with the result.

We hired Chris and his crewto perform a variety of drywall repairs on our 23-year old home. We are very happy with the results. Communication was excellent throughout. Before we agreed to any work commitment, we were provided with a thorough and detailed estimate of the work to be performed. While the estimate was not broken down into a specific cost per item, we were OK with this due to the nature of the work to be performed. The work itself was performed with a high level of attention to keeping the work areas well masked and clean. The crew had to work around existing furniture, and everything was well-covered and protected throughout. A few repair surprises were encountered along the way and were corrected. We had agreed to perform a certain amount of preparation ahead of the job, including wallpaper stripping and surface preparation. Chris provided great advice on all that, including a loan of tools that helped that process go so much faster. The end results were just what we wanted. New drywall sections were installed, taped and sanded seamlessly. The new surface coatings were expertly applied. All other problem areas were addressed. In some cases, Chris went above and beyond to make sure it was "done right". We had also planned on doing our own priming and painting after the completion of the work, and Chris provided us with additional guidance to assist us with that. We will definitely work with Chris and Mud Slingers again for future drywall work, and possibly for tile work as well.

I like to get 4 estimates on big jobs like this. I've never had this bad experience before. My other 3 estimates were very detailed, and they did not charge for them.

He did an excellent job of plastering and cleaned up afterwards. Very polite and courteous. The job was completed on time. I would definitely use him again.

Finished work was as contracted. Cleaned up after each visit.

Ran into several problems but they continued to work at them until they achieved excellent results.

It went very well. Chris was very accommodating from beginning to end. He worked within our budget and bent over backward to get the job done.

We contacted Chris to have a repair done to our garage ceiling. We were closing on our home and needed the repair done in order to complete the sale. Christ stopped by one evening, gave us the estimate and was able to fit us into his schedule the very next week. They were there at the promised time, cleaned up all the mess, and were gone in no time. It was a very nice experience.

They were very neat and did an excellent job. They were a pleasure to have work in my home and left in great shape.

This is my third time using Mudslingers. Chris is very punctual and responsive. He gives a free estimate, shows up on time, finishes the work on schedule and at the budget, and does high quality work. They are a bit more expensive than other painters, but worth it.

We needed to have some cracks in our cement basement floor filled and the floor and interior walls painted. We also wanted to have some exterior walls waterproofed. On the original walk-thru with Chris, we decided to have a wall sheet-rocked. He gave us a great price and we decided on a date. Chris called two days before the start to make sure everything was still a go. On the day, Chris and his crew, Alex and Max arrived on time and ready to go. They explained each step and kept us well informed every day. As the week went on, we discovered that there were exterior walls that needed more extensive waterproofing. Chris also suggested sheet-rocking another wall because the original finish on the wall wasn't allowing the paint to "stick". These were added to the project and Chris "threw in" painting the trim gratis. We were told the job would take a week and true to their word it was done in a week. They were great, very professional, and very considerate. The end result was terrific! We couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Mudslingers.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job. The painting inside and out was excellent. They started exactly when they said they would and finished in a week--exactly as they said they would. Chris is very professional and took care to call us each evening to ask if we had any questions and to get feedback. The final price was very fair. We highly recommend Mud Slingers.

Chris & his crew are absolutely great to work with. They are professional, helpful, & respectful. If I had concerns or questions they were dealt with. Chris and his crew were always approachable. The job was tricky with many angles. I am very happy with the results and will certainly recommend Mudd Slingers.

Showed up promptly to provide an estimate. Worked together on scheduling. They took care to keep the dust and mess out of the rest of the house to the extent possible. The quality of the completed work is excellent, and the work was accomplished for the price agreed on at the start.

It went well. We did not seek any other bids so I am unable to judge whether the price was good or bad.

Very smoothly. It took several mornings due to drying time for the the indoor work. The painters were very accomodating with scheduling.

We chose Mud Slinger's because they were flexible and could get our interior painting done earlier than others we had contacted. We had 3 holes to be patched and numerous shift cracks to be smoothed out. Chris came in the evening to keep the job on target and he locked the door behind him when we were not home. The patching and crack smoothing were perfect and our old home has smooth walls just like a new one! Chris is professional and conscientious. The only caveat is to be absolutely sure that what you want painted or the work you want done is included in your contract and estimate; this goes for any contractor. We would definitely hire Mud Slinger's again.

He was very honest and never even charged me the extra $30 difference for the TV stand he had to buy. He even bought better parts than the factory ones to install the stand more securely. He went above and beyond to help me out.

Chris and his crew did an outstanding job! I called him for an estimate and he returned my call within 3 hours and was out later that day to write up the estimate. Since I was working with a contractor on the new construction, I had a rough idea what week he would be able to get in to do his work, but I did know that it was going to be short notice, and he assured me that would not be a problem. I put him in contact with our contractor and they worked it out (Chris was very flexible, which was verty appreciated!). In fact my contractor commented on how easy it was to work with Chris and asked for some of his business cards. Mudslingers started on a Monday with laying down 2 coats of primer; Tuesday painting; Wednesday after putting down second coat noticed that a third coat was need on certain areas and came in on Thursday to finish. Chris and his crew cleaned up after themselves every day, the quality of the work was outstanding, and Chris was an easy guy to work with, very customer orientated! I highly recommend Mudslingers to anyone.

They were very timely. Their price was very reasonable and the quality of their work was excellent. I was very satisfied with them.
