Description of Work: The new furnace was installed in a workman like manner. I am very satisfied with the quality and price.

Description of Work: inspected our 20 year old central air unit. We knew it worked, but didn't know if it was going to need a major repair or replace in the near future. He came in and did what appeared to be a thorough job on the evaluation. We sort of expected an attempt to upsell. We were grateful that he did not. He confirmed that it was "old" and ya never know, but he did not see anythng that indicated trouble was on the way. Thank you for your honesty!

Description of Work: Bought the Big Deal for 2 A/C units. They were working well and I want to keep it that way. Claimed the value was substantially more than I paid. However,I got an abbreviated service. Long checklist of things they offered to perform,and only a few were quickly done. I'm assuming they were done. Arrived 30 min. late with no phone call. I was scheduled at 8a.m. Didn't check temp. output,didn't look at thermostats,told ME how to clean cooling fins by spraying outside of unit. I know the recommended method is working from the inside out so you don't force debris further into the units.I spent an hour doing it myself after he left. He did try to sell me gas at $57 a lb.per unit. I declined. He was here approx. 25 min. and confided he was barely breaking even on the Big Deal promotion.If the deal had stated it was no frills,just checking vital points,I probably would have still gone for it. But the promise was for more. I gave him $20 cash as he left. This was the second Big Deal I purchased and I got a refund on the first for terrible service. Caveat emptor,you get what you pay for on these things. My experience has been low price equals low effort. No more "deals" for me.

Description of Work: Our boiler would not shut off. They came the day we called and replaced some relay switches and it worked perfectly. We have used them in the past for our air conditioning. It was not cooling. the found a leak in the system. The unit had been installed by someone else and the warranty had just expired. They fixed the problem temporarily and then got the company to replace to unit under warranty because it was a problem that should not have occurred. It saved us having to buy another unit.
