It went very well...until I discovered my old TV had burned and discolored the wood on my entertainment center and I would need to replace it! I asked Dan when he could come back, if I purchased a new entertaiment center. He said he could come back the following week. So, five days before Christmas, I was going to be on a mission! Dan continued with the TV installation and hooked up the DVD player, cable, etc. so I wouldn't be without a TV over Christmas. What a nice guy!! I found a great console for the equipment, Dan came back and disconnected then reconnected everything and all was good!! Dan does a fabulous job with all the cords and cables! I don't see then at all!

Dan was very prompt and diligent at returning my inital call and providing a very competitive quote. Further, Dan performed his work in an efficient and professional manner. Dan also followed up on his original work, provided great trouble-shooting, and ultimately worked out the initial kinks in my system. I would definitely use Dan again.

Dan returned our call promptly after I left a message for him. Was willing to come out to give us an estimate with out a trip charge. Reprogrammed our remotes so they are easy to use with color icons. Will use Dan and Pure Sound and Vision again.

Dan called to say he would arrive about 30 minutes later then expected-- I thought this was very thoughtful and polite. He came fully prepared with all of the equipment, tools, parts, cables, etc required to do the job. He even arranged for a licensed electrician to come and put in a new electric outlet on the wall behind where the mounted TV would be placed. He provided me with exactly the Wall Mound "system" that I described -- something that would allow me to turn the TV to different directions of the living room depending on where people were sitting, yet did not create a "Mounted TV that would take over the entire room". I wanted something clean, neat, and adjustible and he provided exactly the correct wall mount and adapter plate. While doing the actual installation work he was very careful to make sure all of the measurements were correct, to show me what the placement could look like once the TV was on the wall -- made sure I like the "centering" set when it was flat against the wall. This was a very newly painted living room and I am very pleased to say that it was still a clean and neat painted wall after all of the work was completed. He even had a small brown bag that he taped to the wall, with blue painter's tape, to catch the drywall dust and depris as he cut the pass-through holes for all of the cables. In all my years of dealing with contractor I have NEVER has one who paid this much attention to keeping my house clean while he was working. This alone deserves an A+++++ rating. Dan was careful to oversee the work the electrician did -- also cleaned up after the electrician. Once the TV was on the wall mount he took great pains to organize all of the cables, install tie down cable ties to make sure that they would stay orgainzed and easy to use. He explained to me what to do when I wanted to extend the TV out into the room further and how to extend and then later pull back the excess cabling. When the work was completed everything was so neat and orgainized -- no more wires everywhere behind the TV cabinet. Dan also installed a Sound Bar and the Blue-Ray. Both of these items required "tweaking" something that would be way beyond the ability of almost anyone who was not a professional installer. To get the Blue-Ray to work correctly we needed to make changes to the wireless model system. Dan did this for me. It was not part of the "scope of work" or included in the price quote, but he did this work anyway -- so that all my equipment would work 100% before he left. AND HERE IS THE VERY, VERY BEST THING-- you know how you have to have all those remote controls next to your favorite chair -- so you can work the TV and the Sound Bar and the DVD and the Cable BOX -- well I don't ! DAN actually took the time to make all of them work off my Time Warner Remove Control. YES, ONE remove. He had to program the sound bar (using a learn button) get it to talk to the Time Warner Remove AUX feature and then he linked the AUX to the TV and CABLE features so the I can turn EVERYTHING on and off with one button on the remove. EVEN the above average Time Warner Installer does NOT know how to do all that programing to their own remote. Just ask my Brother who has a beautiful HAIER TV in his family room -- and two removes on the table next to the couch. Three different Time Warner service staff could not figure out how to get the volume to work on the Time Warner Remove. We were watching an old movie off my AMAZON (my vidio's) account, wireless through the Blue Ray, showing on my wall mounted Sony as the job was completed and I was writing a check to pay him. Originally I was not sure I wanted to spend the money to have the TV mounted, I am now a convert! I could NOT be HAPPIER with the out come of this job. And the bonus is I am really happy with the sound bar -- makes a big difference, and the Blue Ray is attached and working. Life is Good. Thank you Dan.

We have an older Bose home theater system, with the speakers mounted and wired into our walls. The speakers were only attached to the Bose dvd player, so we only made use of them when playing movies on dvd. We were hoping to access the speaker system when we streamed movies to our television from the Internet. We found Pure Sound and Vision on Angie's List, so I called Dan last week. He came to the house on Monday morning, and in a short while we are able to get sound through our speaker system from the television and the Roku, as well as the dvd player.

Dan was very punctual in getting back to voice-mail and picking up phone calls. He also arrived promptly with a Electrician (Rian from ELITE Electrical) to provide accurate "free" Estimate. They both made some good suggestions and recommendations on the best way to do the in-wall wiring and also to keep some wiring outside when they are behind Entertainment center to keep costs down. Dan also made some good suggestions for a good in wall surround systems and got me a good deal for that. The total pricing included the price of surround system as well. On the day of install, Dan arrived early and started on his work. He had everything ready for the Electrician who came a bit later and then completed his work. He completed the work to my satisfaction and I would highly recommend his services.

Dan did a great job as always. He is very detailed with his work and it shows. When he leaves the job site you can't even tell he was there. Not a spec of dust or garbage is left behind. He charged us exactly what he quoted and even had to do a bit more work than expected. Top notch, I'd highly recommend Dan again and again.

Excellent. Start to finish. And I was on the tightest deadline as I only called Dan a few days before I had to have it installed as a surprise gift. He even made a follow up call to see if we were doing alright. I'd use him for all future work. Rare to have such a hands on service completely customized to my needs...not his agenda. He was honest about pros/cons, what he can and can't do and did not push me to unnecessary features or costs. Very unlike the other company who came out to present their recommendations and bid which was for an outdated LED that after reviewing it online was clearly an old model with limitations that was being deeply discounted by the big box stores. I think a lot of consumers think they know better and will get better pricing if they run over to the big box stores, haul the big flat screen in their oversized vehicle and spend the weekend setting it up. Figure out the lost opportunity costs because you did the work---when Dan is reasonable, responsible and was aware of all the ins and outs with our less than perfect cable provider: Time Warner. You might consider doing yourself a favor, and call Dan. You will thank yourself for taking the time to read and act on this recommendation and the others you see here.

Excellent job done. Dan was prompt and did the work as he quoted. Very knowledgeable on programing and explaining what he was doing. He's the guy to use if your having trouble hooking up the new TVs. He made sure we understood how to use the remote.

Pure Sound & Vision mounted a 50" plasma tv on the wall in our living room. They ran all the cables and power wires inside the wall and mounted the tv on low profile mount for a nice clean look. It looks like a picture hanging on the wall. They also hooked up our surround system and trained us on how to use the different settings. They left no mess behind and we were very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Pure Sound & Vision for any tv/surround sound jobs.
