Frank-Dale Roof & Chimney Inc

We called Frank-Dale in need of some help with our roof / a leak entering our home. It was recommended / ensured that our leak would be repaired with a new roof. We have a 10 year warranty with our roof / contract as well. We now have an even bigger leak in our home with consistent water that was never there prior to this new roof. Frank-Dale insists it is not the roof and are claiming they were hired to "install a roof and not fix a leak." The customer service has been condescending and quite rude. We as the customer are not even sure the roof / flashing was done correctly as several other reputable companies have told us it is done incorrectly and is causing our leak. Frank-Dale does not care about our leak because they received payment from us and are on to the next job. We have more water from our "new roof" than ever before. It is sad and frustrated to be treated this way and have a 10 year warranty that is worthless because they refuse to fix anything.

All went well from start to finish,and I would use them again. However I'm expecting it won't be for a roof due to the excellent warranty. No high pressure sales as with other companies that quoted us, just the honest facts. Good job!

I was very pleased with the the job performance from Frank-Dale Roof and Chimney. Josh gave us a quote with thorough explanation of what they would provide for the quote. After receiving other quotes from other companies I contacted Josh with more questions to get a good comparison. Josh responded to my questions quickly and was helpful in enabling me to make a decision on what company to go with. The crew that installed the roof was very professional. They arrived when they said they would, did a good job, and cleaned up thoroughly when completed. They finished ahead of schedule. I will go back to Frank-Dale Roof and Chimney if I ever needed roofing services of any kind. However, with the warranty they provide I am assuming I will not have a need to go back to them for some time. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Josh promptly responded to our request for a free estimate on the project and offered to include re-shingle of shed and garage in quote. Estimated one and a half days to complete the project on our home. We chose to have them do the work as provided in Josh's estimate and scheduled the work to be done while we were gone on vacation for a week. When we returned in five days, the roof was completed; however, the gutters and downspouts had not been completed. Project supplies were left in the yard. It was necessary for us to call and request follow through on the completion of the gutters, downspouts and leaf guard system. When the tech finally came to the house to work on the project, the gutters went up but, some were installed crooked and the seamless gutters still leak over the sidewalk and entry ways. Multiple contacts have been initiated by us to correct the problem; Josh did return our phone calls, but to date there has been no corrective action taken and the project remains unresolved.

I'm writing this on behalf of my 82 year-old sister. I helped her in selecting a contractor to install a new roof. After looking at several bids and talking with various contractors, she chose Frank-Dale to install her roof because she felt comfortable dealing with Josh. He answered her questions in a straight-forward manner and explained exactly what he would do. Josh did a great job installing the roof and arranged for new gutters to be installed, too. He and his work crew were friendly, polite and accommodating. Most of the work was done in one day, with a few days of follow-up. He left her yard in sparkly clean condition.
