Description of Work: An initial evaluation was performed in which my crawl space was evaluated for structural support under kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms. Also, the crawl space was evaluated for insulation. Supports were required to shore up a sagging floor. A price of 2700 was quoted for adding supports under the kitchen. The evaluator stated this would probably fix the problem. During this time we discussed how tight the crawl space was and he went into the crawl space. He assured me that his group could perform the work. | |The final price for supports was 3300 which was increased due to an additional support being added under the bedroom area during installation. The areas which were shored up were good. However the dining area which still had some give. This is determined by walking across floor and watching for objects shaking on furniture. | |The insulation was not performed because the owner would no honor his quote. After the workers performed the support installation, they were supposted to return to perform the insulation. The same crew which did the support were also to perform the insulation. The crew said was describing about problems with the insulation, but even described how the insulation would be performed. However, the next day, the owner called and said the insulation would not be performed because it was to difficult. After some discussion, he admitted that he did not properly evaluate the crawl space. | |The work crew did good work for what they did. However, there was a serious problem with the evaluation and honoring of quote.

Description of Work: They installed a sump pump and replaced all of our basement windows and window wells. Everything was good.

Description of Work: They installed a basement perimeter drainage system to waterproof my basement. They also installed a new sump pump, as well as flooring, wall panels and new windows. They arrived when they said they would and they were always courteous and explained everything as they went. I was extremely happy with their service and I will call them again if I need anything that has to do with my basement. The person that came and gave me an estimate was extremely informative and while they were not the cheapest they were by far the most professional and courteous. I felt confident in having them do the work.

Description of Work: The east corner of our home's foundation was sinking, cracking and needed to be reinforced. They removed part of the concrete floor, put down five reinforcing steel push piers, and raised the foundation/house to original position. |They did a great job. The project took two days, they kept us informed of the progress, and did a super job of cleaning up.

Description of Work: Had significant water problems on both sides of our duplex. Did reference checks and everyone had nothing but positive things to say. We had some heavy rains in June and... not a drop of water!

Description of Work: Had leaking basement window. They replaced it and graded the outside to keep water away. Only problem, while we got quick initial consult. It took a while for the project to get scheduled for completion. But they did a great job. Would recommend.

Description of Work: Raised sidewalk and driveway that had significant drops

Description of Work: put sump pump output drain underground - that was done correctly but left a big clean up due to spray from cutting of the cement in order to bury the drain line. Also had them bury the gutter downspouts lines under ground. The way they installed the downspout it is causing a large spray coming out where the downspout meets the drain line. They are scheduled to comeback in spring to fix the problem.

Description of Work: I used Badger Basement Systems. I bought a sump pump. They put in three windows to the basement. They built a thing that would drain the water outside the basement and away from the house. They put stuff against the baseboard of the basement.

Description of Work: It went very well. It was less of a mess than I thought it would be. They were late the first day, but it was because of a mix up on the name of our road. It was more of a GPS error than anything else. Spendy? Yes. Worth it? If our basement stays dry in the spring, Yes! Very professional, gave an explanation of work done, completed job in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: Contracted to do a major (quite involved), basement waterproofing project. Gentleman who came to discuss the project and do an estimate, could not have been more professional or less high pressure. He presented the project by sections, never suggesting it would be best to do the complete project all at once. His explanation of the process was superb. I chose to do everything possible, in one fell swoop, to resolve my problems with leaks (and one significant basement flood). The work itself was completed by 2 men whose expertise, efficiency, professionalism and neatness continue to amaze me, 2 months after the job was completed. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Badger Basement to others.

Description of Work: I live in a 60 yr old home located in Monona. For one week out of the year we get a small puddle that forms on our basement floor. It appears that the water must be coming up from underneath the slab. Badger Basement Systems recommended and installed a sump pump with drainage beneath the slab. Along the wall. The gentleman (Fred) who quoted the work was informative and friendly. The guys (2) showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was complete. I was impressed with how tidy the basement was when they finished up. I'm a pretty particular person and was expecting to be disappointed with the clean up. I was happy to have been proven wrong. The installers were polite and professional, albeit exhausted by the days end. It's a tough job. I can't say whether my basement is going to be dry till next spring. I'm expecting that we won't be seeing the annual puddle that we are use to seeing.
