The company looks for ways to nickle and dime you - stay away. They charged us $500 to remove two bolts on a tub.

Things went very well. The four-person crew was prompt, professional and and efficient. The foreman described what was going to happen and how. The concrete walkway, front step and driveway sections that had settled over time were gently lifted and leveled using a polymer foam. After the work, all of the driveway section seams were level and smooth. Very few traces of the work were left behind. We would highly recommend Badger Basement Systems.

The Overall I purchased a house with their tile work already completed. It seems to be successfully keeping my basement dry. The service technician I worked with was excellent, I expect to continue to have their services performed. In addition we attempted to work with them to do estimates on an egress window, tile removal, and full basement remodel. I don't plan on proceeding with additional projects with them. 1. They are consistently the highest cost option. 2. The two sales reps we have work with have been unsatisfactory at communication and converting our goals into a plan of actions. Their price could be justified if you (a) believe they have a superior product [which they might] and (b) they add considerable value in planning/service [which we haven't seen]. If they don't list "John X" as a reference on their promo info. I will happily share my experiences to help ensure you know what to expect. The good. 1. Their phone support in the office is excellent. Friendly people take my calls. 2. They installed a dry basement system in my house for the previous owner. It seems to work. 3. I have the perception they offer quality products that are well thought out to work in basement situations. 4. The service tech that came to our house (4/6/18) was excellent. 5. I think if I wanted just their line of products in their proprietary line they could do a job, but... The Bad. 1. ... if you want them to do anything outside of their wheelhouse they seem to stall and not know how to leverage sub contractors. We asked for comprehensive remodeling, but struggled a lot with leveraging other skilled labor. 2. The estimates we have received don't incorporate the goals and desires we feel that we expressed. My perception has been that they try to sell their main lines of products instead of trying to meet our goals. They will send you a packet of promo info... it will show you their main lines. 3. The time/effort it took to get the initial estimates seems to make it prohibitive to try to work with them to get to a place where we want to be. 3. Terrible follow-through at the sales rep level. We have had two people come to give estimates. The first in Feb 2017 (Chris G), who we never heard back from. Then again in Feb 2018 (Brian K) and it has involved "badgering" to get any sort of movement. 4. Price. Always the highest price when we had multiple estimates.

The job was done in a clean, professional and timely manner.

Nicely done at a reasonable price with a solid warranty if the concrete sinks even a quarter inch over the next few years

Everything went very well. My husband did the prep work they requested (removing paneling and drywall to 18 inches above the floor, cutting the wood studs to that level, and removing carpeting to six inches away from the wall). Two workers from Badger Basement came to our house and were completely done in only two hours. They jackhammered out the existing concrete slab, installed metal channels in the wall to drain any moisture out beyond the foundation, installed a sump pump in the room's closet, and poured fresh concrete to fill the new trench. All work done very professionally and thoroughly.

They did great work and were nice guys. They also tied my down spout from my gutter into the sump drainage system and everything is great so far. I highly recommend them.

We had a leak in our basement that ended up being from our water softener, not from the outside, so we did not have Badger Basement perform services for us. However, they sent us a complimentary packet of information about water in the basement, and they were very nice to talk to on the phone. Ron called to confirm the appt. the night before, and arrived on time. He quickly assessed the problem, and even though we did not end up needing their services, he gave me a lot of great advice, and even followed up with a phone call to talk about a few things he thought of on his drive home. I did show him a spot in the basement where did have a minor leak from the outside and he quickly gave me a rough estimate. It was a very small leak and it only happened once during an extremely heavy rain, so we will not be addressing it at this time. But I know I will be calling them if it ever needs to be addressed. Very nice, very professional. We will absolutely work with them in the future, if needed.

Phase 1 is now complete -- the water control system was installed last week over the course of a day and a half. Everything has been stellar -- from the care and attention to detail of the rep (Scott) who came to do the initial quote, to communications with the office about scheduling, right up through the work of the prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly crew -- led by foreman Alan -- who got the job done smoothly. They graciously did a few extra things as well, like patching the concrete wall in spots we identified; and Alan reviewed the upcoming Phase 2 (installation of egress window, after the ground thaws) and determined that hand-digging will be necessary because our fencing will prohibit bringing in their equipment to our backyard. It was reassuring to have that addressed well in advance of the week the job will be done.

Estimate was reasonable. Two estimates were provided, one for each of two possible solutions. Joel was very professional and knowledgeable.

Everything went smooth and as expected. They were neat and considerate and took time to answer all my questions.

Very unprofessional, never received the estimate, they did not return my call when trying to contact them about the estimate.

This company installed an egress window in our basement, and has been back three times now to try to stop the leaking that started when they put it in. Every time they've come in within a day or two of my call to tell them it's still leaking, and they keep trying. They've even patched holes in the outdoor concrete that could be contributing to the problem. If I had it to do over again, we might have them put in some sort of drainage or sump pump while they're working on the , but they've definitely more than worked with us to get this fixed.

Badger was very competitive and the results were a great improvement. They raised the sunken floor edges back to their original position. I just wish I would have had them raise the edges slightly more to compensate for the poor installation several decades ago. The foam injection worked well plus I got some insulating value below the outer edges of the garage floor.

Not sure since they "no showed" me and never called to reschedule.

They were prompt, here at 8:30 am and were done by 10. Very pleasant, started their work right away. When they were finished, they cleaned up any mess they had made, and left.

They wanted to install a sump pump system to help drain the water out. I wanted the problem repaired. I used another company that repaired the problem, cost much less, and provided a lifetime guarantee that is transferable if I ever sell my home.

The people I talked to on the phone and the salesman were very professional and prompt. We had to wait several weeks for a sales person to be available to come out and quote, which was a minor inconvenience. When the appointment for the quote came, the sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have quite the sales show with the information they send in advance and the videos on the laptop the sales person shows about your circumstance. The major concern was the price differential from other quotes received. They were about 40% higher than other quote received. If it hadn't been for the huge price difference, they would have been a good option.

I had a total of five estimates done before I made my decision to go with Badger. When Jesse showed up for our scheduled estimate appointment he was on time, dressed neatly, knowledgeable and spoke professionally. He asked me to explain the problems and our concerns I was experiencing with my basement. (My problems included seepage in various areas around my basement where my walls meet the floor, as well as water accumulation in my furnace flue and ash dumps.) He also asked me what my goals were for my basement--which for me was a dry basement! Jesse did a great job explaining to me what he thought my best options were to rid me of my seepage issues. I never felt like I was being pressured into making a decision. I did not sign immediately. I carefully reviewed all the estimates and decided Badger was the best fit for me. Once the contract was signed, I waited to hear from Jesse for an estimated start date. In the meantime I was sent a portfolio which included a bio of the foreman (Paul). It was nice to receive a bit of background on the person in charge of my job.I received a call the day prior to the start date letting me know what time Badger would be arriving. Needless to say the crew showed up right on time.I was a little shocked when Paul first introduced himself, he looked younger in person then in his bio picture. But don't let his youthful appearance fool you. I was truly impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, workmanship and stamina. My job was scheduled for it to last three days and Paul and his crew worked diligently day in and day out. I was actually home at the time the work was being performed and observed the process. From the breaking out of the concrete-pulling out the old drain tile-putting in the crock-placing the new drain-tile-submerging the sump pumps and lastly pouring the new concrete. I had a lot of questions to ask and Paul took the time to answer every one. He never made me feel like I was an intrusion. One other thing I was really impressed by was how respectful these young men were with me and my home. The work Paul and his crew do daily is incredibly physical and they all had great attitudes. What that showed me was Badger must be a great company to work for. Paul is truly an asset to Badger as he does a beautiful job representing them. Having your entire basement torn up can be a stressful experience for a homeowner. Had great experience with initial sales technician. Workers arrived promptly on day job was scheduled and were very professional. I would have appreciated more follow up following the installation to insure everything was as we had discussed.

They were extremely professional. The basement was flooding at the time they started working on it and we haven't had any problem since. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up. They were punctual and did exactly what they said they would do.

Wow. Tom inspected the job promptly and set up a service date when the weather improved. An incredible worker named Jim came and did all the work and additional work to make the project look better than we expected. Jim injected polylevel product under a sagging porch and corrected the crack and the pitch. He then filled in the crack with mortar. . He then corrected the sidewalks adjacent by injecting the polylevel product and also did some tuck-point work on the back porch. I am VERY pleased with the work. I'm pretty sure it was way more involved than originally projected, so I am thrilled with the price and the high quality of the work. thank you!

Every aspect of this company seems to run like a well oiled machine. The office managers were responsive when I called, and very friendly. The initial surveyor/sales manager (Jesse) who came out to review & bid the job was prompt, polite & knowledgeable. The office managers were prompt in following up to schedule the repair (only downside is they are so busy the repair was many months out, even in the winter). Chris and his assistant who came to jackhammer & dig out the concrete/dirt where the new/deeper concrete footing would be poured, install the jacks and the new beam to remedy the sagging main floor/joists in my 1940's farm house, were very prompt with calls ahead of time regarding when they'd be there. They used cloth tarps throughout the house to ensure no mess was caused, and they were professional & pleasant at all times. Chris was very skilled at tackling a "custom" job in this old house, and very knowledgeable about explaining the pros & cons of different options & explaining each step as we went along. Best yet, the work ended up taking less time & materials than originally quoted, and I was billed a lesser amount. I'm sure that this is unheard of for the most part these days. All in all, I'm happy with the repair (although I wasn't happy to have to spend the money on it), and couldn't have been more pleased than dealing with Chris & Badger Basement.

Contacted in summer and worked out contract. Said would match competitor price but couldn't. I called them back and asked about Angie discount which hadn't been taken into consideration and asked them about Senior Discount that was listed on their web sight. They reworked and came to competitor price, but 2 feet short. Did work and basement is a mess while working, cleaned up pretty good. Will be coming to look at area where water puddled from recent rain.
