Great service. The screen door that Mike replaced was old and tricky; in fact 3 other people had tried to fix it without any luck, but Mike Hardy took care of it fast! He did everything including finding the best door for the job. I was very happy with his professionalism, promptness, and quality of work. I especially appreciated how quickly he got back to me!

Called Mike after checking Angie's List for handymen. He responded right away and came out to check the job out that same morning. After looking at our leaning cabinet and microwave he explained what he would do and gave us an estimate and said he could do it the same day. After purchasing a replacement cabinet for us, came back and removed the old cabinet and took down the microwave. He installed the new cabinet and re-installed the microwave perfectly. My cabinet and microwave look so much better and I'm not worried any more that it will fall off the wall. Mike cleaned up and we were all set.

I called Mike for a quote and he came over within a day or two and provided a quote within another day. The project took place over a few weeks and Mike always arrived when he promised he would. He worked around my schedule as requested. He quickly tore out all the old drywall, siding, carpeting, etc. He built new walls, hired an electrical subcontractor to take care of that part of the project, then installed all the drywall. After I had the drywall painted (he doesn't paint) he came back to install moldings and doors. He also installed new vinyl flooring. He was on time, kept the place neat, was pleasant and professional. When I had questions or concerns about the project, he was helpful with coming up with solutions. I picked out what I wanted, but he went to Menards and got all the supplies, vinyl, doors, etc. so I didn't need to hassle with any of that. The basement turned out great -- way better than it was before.

Mike is very good at what he does. I am confident in his work and expertise. Both my wife and myself are very pleased with the work done on the porch floor and French doors. We are very excited with the kitchen cabinets after day 1 and look forward to the completion tomorrow. I have been using Mike Hardy since purchasing our home 4 years ago, and plan to have him work on the bathroom next. Be a little flexible and patient with his schedule for he is in high demand, and you too will experience and become confident as I have in his work.

Mike visited my home and provide an estimate. He actually finished quicker than quoted and was going to charge me less. Instead, I asked if he would take a look at my sump pump which he fixed immediately bringing him up to the original quote time. Mike has a trailer that he brings on-site with a huge selection of tools. This guy can handle all kinds of projects.

He researched windows for us and installed the window. He did a wonderful job finding and installing a window. There are no scratches on the wallpaper.

Mike was very friendly and professional when he first came by to see what we wanted. He was able to have an estimate within one day; and begin work within two days. This was a recently purchased home needing remodeling before we were moving in. Our timeline was very tight as we also had flooring, painting, and plumbing jobs to schedule around. Mike's craftsmanship, willingness to do additional minor items, promptness, friendliness and overall attitude made him enjoyable to work with.

Couldn't have gone better!! Mike was efficient in his work, prompt and cleaned up each day. He made helpful suggestions that improved our project with limited additional cost. A special addition to our original project was the custom built cabinets. It went from my idea sketch to a finished product that we are all proud of. He went above and beyond in his providing of service and information to us. Hire this man!!

On time, VERY neat, offers usefull suggestions to improve look of project. Gets along with pets.

He was very pleasant. I won?t be hiring him though. I will absolutely not be hiring him in the future.

Mike came in and decided that the best way would be to just take finished pine board, cut them to the current stair dimensions and place the finished right over the unfinished stairs. Mike did an immaculate job cutting to fit and rounding the ends of the stairs. Some of the stairs needed two boards to cover, and you cannot even tell where the joint is. To my surprise, Mike even recommended using trim to cover the stair angles--something I did not even think of. Mike did the work in two days, and he was awesome to work with. We talked with Mike about redoing our bathroom and are thinking of having him redo our kitchen cabinets. Mike is an accomplished carpenter and an asset to have for your woodworking project.

Mike was very professional. He came and assessed what needed to be done, came back the next day with the materials necessary and had the work done very quickly. He even fixed my broken front door bell in the process - it hadn't worked since I've lived in our house! I would highly recommend Mike Hardy for any carpentry need you have!

See my previous reports on Hardy Improvements, although I can't say enough good things! Definitely would recommend Mike Hardy. The furniture is incredible, we have received a lot of compliments on it.

Mike is fantastic, very easy to have working in the house. We thought about doing the work ourselves and are very glad we didn't. One of the hallways is crooked and would have been extremely difficult for us, but for Mike it was just another day at work. The whole job took about 3 days. He cleaned up every day. Mike is a true professional.

Mike was truly a delight to work with. Very professional, always punctual. His work is exceptional. Our house is a 1970's ranch and nothing is straight, requiring particular attention to detail on his part. He was quick and cleaned up every day. I really didn't have to clean anything after he left. I would say, however, the biggest surprise was that I had the use of my kitchen every night during the project, including the sink. He temporarily installed the old countertops and sink over the new cabinets while we were waiting for the new counters to be fabricated. Also, I have 3 little boys at home who are very interested in tools and "helping" Mike. He was very patient with them. Now that the project is over they really miss him!

EXCELLENT. Very professional. Mike was easy to work with. On time and schedule. Worked fast to get the job done. Said he was going to do exactly what he did. He is very detail oriented and strives for perfection. Before hiring him -- he came over to estimate the just and gave me some good ideas as well. I got Mike's name from a good friend (who's a perfectionist) and she was extremely happy with his work as well. I would hire him again in a minute. He's now my go to guy for remodeling projects!!!
