If I could give an A+ I would. Corey installed the stainless steel chimney cap. He is professional, courteous, honest and fair priced. I am very glad that we found Butler Chimney to do our chimney work. They will send a reminder to have the chimney cleaned and I will call them to return when it does. Highly recommend them.

I am a new customer. They totally went above and beyond to schedule me in for service. They arrived very punctual and did outstanding work. They explained the entire process to me. I have had this type of chimney cleaning before , but never at this home. Our house (and chimney) are new and I wanted a good baseline going forward. I found Corey very knowledgeable and not only will have him back to my home, I've recommended him to others already. Oh, and the cleanliness was a "10", absolutely no mess. Charges were a bit more than I've paid in the past, but I feel like I got more service, and I am a bit of a commute for them to get to the home. I am VERY satisfied.

As a contractor myself I rarely hire out other people to do work for me, however, given some of the specialty equipment necessary chimney cleanings and the potential for the DIY'er to make a mess of things, I opted to hire out this work. Butler Chimney's technician (Corey) was punctual. He took care in making sure my home looked just as is did before his arrival and start of work. After the inspection and cleaning Corey made some recommendations along with giving some timelines for when some of these things needed to be done. I informed him I appreciated his honesty about some of the fixes and minor things that he found wrong.

Very professional. They were honest with us that we didn't need a chimney cleaning, saving us money. Also provided additional helpful information about the fireplace in the house we just purchased.

Excellent service. Corey arrived on time, did an excellent job cleaning the chimney, gave some good advice, and will return in January to replace my rusted chimney cap. Other companies were much more expensive, did not return my call, or seemed to care less. I would definitely hire Butler Chimneys again. I will have them return every 2 years to do the cleaning.

The service was great! My wife met with Corey and found him easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He was also very honest regarding the scope if services that we needed.

Job well done, maybe a week or two behind schedule due to weather.....certainly not his fault. Communication was good, clean up was good, first class job and I would hire Corey again if I have other chimney needs. Updated 11/23/2018 I posted a positive review last year. Unfortunately I need to edit this. I was satisfied with the price and work performed last year. Fast forward this year and we have some missing shingles very close to the area where Corey did the work. I do not know if this was due to the work he did last year or not, but these are the only shingles that have come off on a roof that is maybe 10 years old. I got a letter from the City with a due date to correct this. I called Corey and told him that I did not know for sure if this was related to his job, but asked if he look at and can he repair. I told him I would pay him based on his word if it was not related to his area of work, but if it was improper shingle installation that should be no charge. He agreed to look at and promised to drive by the property and look at it the following week. That was 6 weeks ago, and despite 5 follow up phone calls asking if he looked at property, no response back. I know contractors are busy and trying to finish jobs before winter, and I am a patient person, but this is just lousy service. I am now getting quotes from other roof contractors for what will be a small repair, and still do not know if this should be a warranty repair. Very disappointing follow up, and I regret having to write this, but I have to call it like it is. Updated 11/24/2018 This is my second update to my first review from last year. Initial review was very positive, second review as not so good with communication problems and delays about missing shingles near repair area 12 months later. Corey has since contacted me and promptly made repairs. This was a gray area on if it should have been a warranty repair, but Corey did the repairs at no charge and made things right. Lets call it a bit of a timing issue with my request coming in during the middle of a heavy work schedule and lots of weather issues. We both could have communicated better, but I consider things resolved to my satisfaction and no hard feelings. Going back to the initial job Corey still was the only contractor that came up with some cost savings ideas that others did not. The iron clad question is "would I hire again?",.....yes I would.

Excellent!!!!! He did a lot of work for the money. He was there when he said he would be. He even used acid on the old chimney rock to make it look better. I was impressed!!

This went better than expected. Corey was very thorough on the initial inspection and kept in contact with me once we were waiting for the job to begin. The job started on the appointed day as scheduled. We had intermittent rain days but he finished on time. They were as careful as can be to the surrounding area at the bottom of the chimney where we have a large number of plantings. He pointed out several actions we should take in the future to prevent long term deterioration again.

It went perfect! The workmanship and professionalism was outstanding. Thank you so much for the work you did on my current home, and new home. You will be the only company I will contact in the future if repairs are needed!

It went very well. The guy was very courteous and professional. There was no mess and I saved about $50 by using these guys instead of someone I've used prior. He took photos of the top of my chimney to show where some of the bricks have seen better days, but was not pressuring me into getting it fixed right away which I think some less scrupulous folks may have done. He simply said what the fix is and said they offer that service if and when we wanted to get it done. The service was thorough and the fireplace looked great! Would definitely use them again.

They were great. There was no additional charge but he did quote me. He gave me a rough quote for some additional work he found that was going to be needed. He was very fair. I would definitely use them in the future.
