They did an excellent job marked with superb communication. Every night the owner would call and let me know where they were in their schedule and what I could expect for the upcoming days and time frame. When they ran into an unexpected challenge, they let me know and yet were still done ahead of the estimated schedule. The staff was pleasant and professional and I particularly liked that they used headphones for music and did not disturb our young child during naps. Wonderful service and I will definitely use them again.

Sam was willing to do the ceiling repairs and worked to accommodate my schedule for doing the work. In addition to just doing a rough drywall repair, Sam and his assistant did an excellent job of fitting, taping and priming the ceiling drywall to completely restore the appearance of the ceiling. They added a texture that exactly matched the original ceiling and primed the restored area so that it was ready for painting.

It went well, although the cost was more than originally expected.

Sam reapired a hole in my ceiling, along with a taped seam that had given way. All repairs were done correct and expeditiously. Sam was very profesional, polite, and cleaned up after he was finished. I would definitely consider this company for any drywall repair in the future.

Did the job,, however he offered sanding for extra $99. We only asked for the repair job, not the finishing job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. I contacted Sam, who was very prompt in coming over and taking a look at the problem. He told me how he would go about repairing it, about how long it would take, and that the final bill would likely be over and above what the Big Deal coupon would cover. Sam advised me that, due to a multiple-step process that would take several days, and the fact that the room would be covered with protective plastic while the work was being done, I would need to "move out" of my bedroom during the work. I appreciated this as it allowed me to move the things I needed into my guest room. Sam and his crew arrived promptly, were always courteous and cleaned up well after they were finished (Sam even Swiffered my kitchen and dining room floors before leaving, in order to clean up any plaster dust left behind!!) Most importantly, my bedroom ceiling looks like new! Very pleased.

The owner of the business came to give an estimate. The work proceeded smoothly with both the owner and his employess accomplishing the work. A final inspection was conducted by the owner of the business.

The workers were prompt, friendly and they knew what they were doing. They explained what the job entailed, how long it would take and that there would be no additional cost to me. The job went just as it was explained to me and I couldn't be happier.

The repair was expertly done. The repairers were courteous and very professional.

I called Sam. He's amazing. We set up a estimate within 48 hours and work started in the next 10 business days. He and his team did an amazing job on both the drywall repair, trim work and painting. Sam pays very close attention to detail and is a perfectionist. We appreciated him getting the job done quickly and with such high quality. He even worked on a Saturday to meet our tight timelines. I highly recommend his work and will hire him again for future projects.

They offered alternative solutions to our problem, but since there was no actual supporting structure to work from they could not provide a service for. I would recommend people calling them in the future. They were honest and polite. Even though they did not provide the service, they did try to help me.

Sam and his crew were hired mainly to fix a stairway wall that had bubbling/cracking paint. We also had many areas that needed to be fixed where a previous contractor had not done a professional job or work had been done and holes needed to be patched. They also painted the stairway after repairing the cracking wall, as well as a livingroom wall. Sam and his crew were professional and courteous. They made sure that our family was inconvenienced as little as possible during the week-long process. Sam and his crew needed to do small amounts of work and come back over several days to allow compound to dry. The repair was a bit difficult, yet they persisted and redid areas that were not working out several times. He even came over the weekend to work on parts of the job. While he could tell us the approximate time he would be back the next day, at times we waited around a bit for him to come. He was usually able to contact me to let me know when he would be there. Overall, we were very pleased with the work Sam and his crew did and would definitely work with them again for any future painting or drywall needs.

Overall experience was OK. I was a little disappointed that the drywall man was almost an hour and a half later than the appointed time.

Sam Amadallah is intelligent, courteous, punctual, honest, accommodating, meticulous, precise, and humble. He derived my admiration and confidence I would recommend him. I hope he will do my painting in the future.

Sam set up an appointment with me to check out the work I wanted done on a Friday afternoon. We discussed my expectations and what would be involved in the work. I was certain that it was more than the 3 hours that I had purchased and we were both clear on that up front. He explained that materials would be extra, the drywall would not be a problem for my situation but the texturing would be about $12. He also set the expectation that it would take several visits to get this taken care of and we talked about how because of the angles and access that this was a finesse type of job. Sam and his partner worked around the schedule of myself and my wife. He was eager to complete the job quickly but our schedule required that we postpone things for a week. Not that we do not trust the company but we generally do not schedule people to be in our house when we have a house sitter and we are not available. Sam spent a few hours removing the damaged panel and discussed repair options with me. On another day he and his partner set the panel in place with the corner bead. Later, he came and finished mudding and applied the texture (knock down). Sam and his crew were very good about cleaning up and keeping our living area free of plaster dust and mess. They mopped up after themselves and returned the area to a clean condition every day they worked. Sam and his partner were professional, honest, and talented. My ceiling looks great! When I had looked to find someone to repair my ceiling in the past, many people did not return calls and the ones that did come and see my ceiling did not call me back when I agreed to their estimates. Sam and his crew did great work in a very difficult situation and provided an excellent outcome at a great price. As a side note, I did have a discussion with him about the 3 hour deal and how it worked for his business. He said that some people had interesting ideas about what could be accomplished in 3 hours. He told me a story about a house that had a "small hole" in the ceiling that turned out to be a small hole the size of a refrigerator. The home owner was irate when Sam explained that it would take longer than 3 hours. I have no problem paying for quality work and for setup and cleanup so my house is not a huge mess.

Primary Painting & Drywall was punctual, courteous, professional and clean. They did a great job of repairing the drywall in my garage and they made sure that their work area was cleaned up before they left.

I had a moldy / musty smell in my basement that I believed was on a part of the drywall and I wanted to replace it to see if it would help the smell.I explained the location of the drywall on the telephone. They arrived early and were prepared. The drywall was not in a good place to be removed, so it couldn't be taken out. They recommended painting over it to see if it would seal the smell, but could not guarantee that the smell would go away. They spray painted it with a paint to try and seal it off . The smell still persists. Secondly, I needed another section of drywall patched up, they stated they couldn't do it and that we would have to purchase a cover at Home Depot as an alternative so that didn't get fixed. This was due to the location of the hole in the wall. The third item was an old cable outlet that we needed covered up. They did a good job covering it up. I will have to sand and paint it later. Overall, it was not what I had expected. I thought more would have gotten done, but you never know if something can be fixed or not unless a professional comes to look at it. This company also paints and I didn't have any of that work done.

Sam and his team were great to work with from start to finish. I originally reached out to Sam back in February and he accomodated my work schedule (I commute to and from Chicago for work) and met in the evenings/weekend. He provided a quote and I had to get the basement inspected before he could start the work. It ended up taking almost 3 months to complete the inspection. I finally called Sam back and he returned to my original quote and we found time for his team to start. They took great pains to cover the carpet and clean up after themselves during week and half the project was going on. Every employee was extremely friendly and professional. The finished product looks great. Attention to detail was high and everything - from drywall to seams to finish - looks great. I'd highly recommend Primary Painting and Drywall to anyone and will use them again if needed.

I recently purchased a home which had a hung/drop ceiling in the kitchen to hide what I thought to be glue spots from accoustic ceiling tiles. When the drop ceiling was removed I found several holes in the original plaster ceiling. I plan to completely remodel the kitchen in about 5 years, so I was looking for a shorter term solution that would look great in the interim. And I wanted the work done before I moved in. Sam gave me a very reasonable estimate within two hours of looking at my ceiling. He assured me that the work would be completed within my time frame. Sam and his team installed firring strips on the existing kitchen ceiling, installed drywall and mudded and taped all on the first day (8/12). He came back to mud again on 8/13. He finished and textured the ceiling on 8/14, completing the work. He delivered a great finished product in an extremely tight time frame. It looks fantastic! He was great to work with along the way, calling to inform me when he would be by to do the work and letting me know if he would be delayed in arriving. I have more drywall work to be done in the future and he will definitely be getting my business!
