Description of Work: Cancelled twice, did suggest to me he would reinburse me if I didnt want to use deal,,did do what I asked when he came. In my opinion I felt he was sorry he signed up to do the deal on Angies list,,,,,thats just the impression I got

Description of Work: Angie, Called Sam & explained our drywall repair job in our bathroom. He said he was on a job & would get back to me the next day w/ his schedule & would be able to come out the following Wed. or Friday when he was working in this area. We never heard back from him. The next week I called again & Sam said to text him a message of what needed to be done & he would get back to me that night. So I followed his instructions & once "again" never heard back from him. I realize contractors are super busy in the Spring but if you are that busy & can't take the work, just say so. I will move on to another contractor.

Description of Work: I only had contact with the company once and the person I spoke with was very nice. They were willing to extend the Big Deal expiration date, but I was unable to take off of work to be home for the appointment.

Description of Work: Excellent experience. I needed to have a two foot square area of ceiling replaced and painted. They were very fast and efficient. They repainted the area for a small fee. I am very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: I was attempting to remove wallpaper from my kitchen,dinette and back hall. In the process of doing it the the wall board wa also coming off. Needless to say this project was turning into a much larger job. I called Sam and explained the situation and he came out the next day to look at it. Sam explained that when the wallpaper was put up it wasn't sized properly and also explained in detail what he needed to do to fix it. Sam was very prompt in getting back to me with a price,which we agreed upon and set up a time for the following week to start the project. Sam and his crew were always prompt,very polite,cleaned up everyday and most important kept me informed what they were doing. They removed all the wallpaper,skimmed all the walls,sanded,and put a primer on. I would call and also recomend Sam for any wallpaper removal,drywall work and painting.

 + -1 moreAlthough the communication was not great in the beginning, the service made up for it. I had received another estimate for quite a bit less when Sam was unable to come to my house on the scheduled date due to a back injury. He didn't arrive at the agreed upon time and date, so I called him. Although the other estimate was significantly less, I decided to wait for Sam to start the work a week later than I expected. The way he handled his apology and the way he addressed the lower estimate (without putting down another individual) won me over. The young men who did most of the work under Sam's supervision (mostly via phone communication with them) did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the work of the whole team, including Sam. I feel their work was above and beyond my expectations.
Description of Work: Fixed ceiling cracks and caulked the trim in two adjoining rooms and then replastered and painted the ceilings. Also repaired two doorways by plastering where needed.

 + 0 moreThis company was referred by Fine Touch Painting to repair bathroom walls that had been stripped of wallpaper.The walls had mastic residue from tile that was removed,large gouges and rough trowel marks from the original construction.Sam and crew came to the rescue; they sealed the walls,skim coated the bad areas, texturized the walls and ceiling and completely painted everything to perfection.The walls and ceiling look like they are brand new now.
Description of Work: Repair walls in bathroom.Repair crack in kitchen ceiling.
