It went great. They were reasonalbly priced, very helpful, and since day one I've liked using them.

It went well, you can request the same technician, which I like. They know your equipment and they don't have to go behind another technician.

Everyone from the company arrived when they said they would and did what they were supposed to do. When it came time to pay, I wrote out a check for the wrong amount and the owner returned it to me so I could write Gina new check.

Todd came out to give estimate on installation of new furnace. He was very professional and answered all questions. Pricing was also the best out of three other estimates. On day of installation, they arrived on time and began working right away. After installation, took time to explain the new furnace controls and again very courteously answered any questions that I had.

The A/C was holding up well all morning, but when I returned from some errands the temperature was climbing. I stuck a temp probe just above the condenser coil, and the air was the same as that in the house even though the fan on the A/C unit was running. I then checked the A/C unit, and it did not sound like the Compressor was running. I called Affordable as they had performed a service call this past winter. (see earlier report).I called about 4:30 PM. A tech was out by 5. I showed him the temperature probe, and let him know about the lack of compressor sound. I mentioned that the A/C units were from 1973 or 74. He went out, and listened to the A/C unit. He agreed that there was no Compressor sound, only the fan. The manufacturer stopped making Central Air units sometime in the 90's, so it would be unlkely to find a compatible compressor, plus the old freon coolant prices have skyrocketed. I figured this was the case, and asked about an estimate. He did a quick survey of the system and the house. As this is a duplex he provided a price for replacing just one or both units. (they were of equal age). Ultimately, we ended up going with a different company for the replacement units (price won in this case).This was our second experience with Affordable. Both times they were quick to respond and on their previous trip the price was affordable and fixed the problem. This time they were quick to respond. were surprised at what I knew about the system already, and confirmed what I feared. Had I not rceived a better offer from an equally reputable local company, they probably would have gotten the install contract as well.

Furnace was unable to maintain heat. A co-worker suggested Affordable. After checking Angies List, I called. They were over about 45 minutes later. I let the tech know that there was a error code flashing on the furnace, something about the heat exchanger being over limit. The tech checked the filter, but it still was serviceable. He then reviewed the wiring. It turned out that the blower fan for the unit was set below that recomended by the manufacturer. The tech set the fan to a higher speed. We are in a duplex, with exactly the same make of furnace for each unit next to each other in the basement. Since they were both installed at the same time, I figured the other unit would have the same problem. Before I had a chance to ask, the tech had taken a look and found the same wiring issue. He had no problem making the change to that unit as well, saving a future service call.

All correspondence with this company was very professional. I was quoted on 3 different units to chose from to see which would work the best in my situation. Before I was ready to purchase numerous calls were made and questions were answered promptly. The installation went without a hitch all went well and my home was as clean as it was when they arrived.

Overall it went smoothly, although they did have to return to finish up a couple small details (caulking 2 holes in the wall and replacing an electrical cover plate). I would recommend and use again. The service was prompt and professional and they were very courteous when answering my questions.

They did a good job. They made sure everything was as perfect as they could make it for me. They were very professional and personable.

We had an emergency. Our heater went out and it was cold and they came really quickly. They called us back really quickly and said that they would be here in a short time and they were right here really fast. They were prompt. They were excellent.

We were very impressed with the responsiveness from the company the tech was prompt, polite and explained and performed the repair accordingly. We were very satisfied with the service we would even call Affordable Heating in the future when our furnace or central air would need repair. It was fate that thru the HSA Warranty that we were introduced to Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning.

I've had the guys from affordable heating complete the maintenance on my furnace for the last 12 years. They tend to send the same serviceman to you every year. This way you get to know them and they know everything about your furnace and AC unit. Tony arrived on time, completed the service, changed the two filters, and taught me something I didn't know about the humidity control. I also appreciate having a human at the other end of the line when you call during business hours. It's much better than having to make an appointment by leaving a message and waiting for someone to return your call. The guys at affordable heating do an excellent job and their prices are in line with their competition. This why I chose them to put in a replacement furnace last year and continue to have them do all the maintenance.

Vinny was on time and quick to do the job. I called a specialist for us so he can come to my house the same day. I am not very satisfied with that person, but Air Conditioner Company did their job.

They were very professional and they knew their product; they actually had to correct the city inspector about their product. They were very responsive.

We used them right after the great Milwaukee flood. The flood took out one of our furnaces. They came over to look at the situation and give an estimate. When I told them I was with Angie's List they didn’t charge me for even looking at the furnace. That was really sweet, and I was impressed. They gave my husband and I some leads about who might possibly be willing to fix it because it's a very old furnace. We were not ready at that moment to replace it. We are covered by flood insurance. They were very helpful.

I spent around $10500 for the two furnaces. I had worked with them prior to that for maintenance work. I saw that they were rated highly online. So I thought that I would check them out for an estimate for furnaces. They sounded reasonable. There were some other companies in our area that sounded good for maintenance. Affordable had done a lot of installation work and so I decided to go with them. I liked their estimate and I hired them. They were very efficient. They sent out three people. They each had their own assignment. There was one man who drilled holes in the walls for the vent pipes. The others were setting up the boilers. They installed the two furnaces very quickly like in one day. The work was done properly. The inspections were done and everything was good. They told me to have the vent pipes checked for carbon monoxide in the house during a snowstorm and I checked. The way they had installed the vent pipes, they came out from the side of the house from the basement. So they raised it up high enough so that the snow didn’t get near the exhaust, which was really good. They had elevated enough so that the snow couldn’t get in there. The other estimates that I got were for installing lesser efficiency boilers, but it was better that I bought two furnaces from Affordable. They also submitted the rebate check to focus on energy. I got my rebates on the two furnaces which further lowered the price which I wouldn’t have got if I went with other providers. They did an excellent work. They were very responsive. They came as they said they would. They had a lot of experience in installing furnaces and boilers. I did have problems with one of the boilers after the installation was complete, but it was not due to their workmanship or the installer. They brought the factory representative out to correct the problem immediately and both are running great now. I would use their services in the future too.

The salesman that came out was very good. Their price was also very good, one of the more competitive prices. The sales manager that I spoke to later to get a clarification was less than respectful of my wishes. He tried to up sell me when I clearly didn't want that but other than that it was good. There were five companies that we got quotes from and they were number two.

The most impressive part of this company is the fact that they put customer service so VERY, VERY high on their priority list. I did alot of checking into other companies before I made my decision. I'm a hard sell, but I'm SO GLAD that I made my decision to have this company to the installation. I have alot of peace of mind and confidence in thier abilities. I will tell everyone who has a home who is looking for a new furnace or a/c install to call Affordable Heating and Cooling.

Tech came out and assessed the problem (frozen a/c) and fixed it within about 20 minutes. The nice thing about these guys is that I called that morning and they were out within about four hours, impressive! I will use them again and again.

Recently purchased my home, and the AC did cool properly....just blew luke warm air. Technician assessed that the AC unit had not been properly installed (coolant was not properly released). Also needed a couple replacement valves. A minimal ammount of coolant was added to bring up to manufacture specs. He was very thorough, and explained in detail everything he was doing. Safe to say that Affordable will be my Heating/Air Conditioning choice in my venture as a new homeowner.

They gave a five percent discount. We were thoroughly satisfied with them. He said that he would be here at 4 and only arrived 10 minutes late.

It went really well. One of their sales reps came in for an estimate and he was really helpful. I had been having some difficulty getting hot air to the upper level. He gave me a couple options and gave me the prices of what each of those options would be. I decided to go with the second fuance. We set up a date pretty close after that and his team came in and installed the new furnace. They were friendly and easy to work with and had the job done as soon as they could. It went very smoothly.

They were very thorough and able to point out some issues. They did a good job. I have worked with them in the past too. I like the quality of their service.

I'll not only not recommend them, but I'll be a firm advocate in steering anyone away from calling them.
