Dixon Dry wall was wonderful to work with. Kevin did our project and was extremely hardworking. He was very prompt and even stayed until 5:30 or 6:00 pm one day to ensure that he finished what he started and could continue with the next step the following day. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. I also talked to the owner, Daryll, throughout the project and he was very helpful and spent a great deal of time answering our questions in regard to the skim coat process. We will definately refer Dixon and will use them again in the future.

We had a great experience. We were coordinating the basement finishing project ourselves rather than using a contractor, and Daryl was incredibly informative and patient with our many questions during the planning phase re: options for soundproofing the theater room, options for mold-resistant drywall, texture, paint finishes, etc. His team installed RC channel & fiber board, coordinated with the insulating company to allow blown-in insulation in the walls, did drywall, and applied texture/primer/paint to the walls & ceilings. They even fixed some screw pops in the rest of the house that were from work performed by another company when the house was built a few years ago. The entire team was efficient and professional. We are pleased with the quality of the work. Daryl was easy to communicate with, and the price was competitive.

The drywalling , wall repairs and priming went smoothly with as little mess as is possible. The team was very professional and did a super job tying the stone wall and drywall together and covering the bulk head so it sits against the stone wall perfectly. Great attention to details!

-Daryl was easy to work with. This was the principle reason he was selected. His price was inline with others. I was generally satisfied. My one complaint was that his dry wall paneling crew did not shim the panels so that they were not on the same plane as the fireplace surround & they were sloppy on one 45 degree corner.

Working with Dixon Drywall was an extremely positive experience. The estimation process was thorough and complete so expectations were clearly set before they even showed up to do the work. The work was a little more pricey than I had hoped, but not too much more. The crew was very professional and punctual. They invested a lot of effort to make sure any dust and debris was contained while doing their repairs. The texture that was applied to the repaired areas was perfectly blended into the existing texture. They missed one spot during their original work but came back immediately to fix that and fixed another area that wasn't included in the original estimate to make up for missing the one spot. Dixon Drywall did a fantastic job finishing our walls and I will highly recommend them to others. I'm a perfectionist and they surpassed my expectations. Price was fair and Daryl even gave me a few options to make sure I stayed on budget. Daryl is very professional and was prompt, communicated very well, and made sure we understood the materials be used, the whole process, schedules, and the timeline for the project. Dixon Drywall kept things very clean and covered all the floors and windows. Even though we planned on doing the painting ourselves, Daryl gave us some suggestions and tips on paint. It shows that he cares that people get a great finished product. Before contacting Daryl, I had 2 other well-known Drywall contractors come take a look at our basement and both said they would e-mail me a quote within 1 day and I never received a quote from either of them? I called the 1st contractor 3 days later and he said "I have it put together, but just need to hit the send button" so I waited 2 more days but still no quote. The 2nd contractor called me 10 minutes after he was supposed to be at my house to let me know he was going to be a hour late. Waited only 2 days this time and no quote. Very frustrating! Dixon Drywall was a refreshing relief?

We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the work completed by the Dixon Drywall team. They turned a third floor attic area into a special bonus room that will no doubt be enjoyed by our family for many years to come. The quality of the work performed was exceptional, all the way from prep to finish. They were on time and on budget, and in the process of doing the job, kept the work space picked up each day. There were other jobs going on within the house, and they were very accomodating of their own schedule in order to allow other jobs to stay on track. Based on our experience it is easy to recommend them for any drywall job, and to say their work product will add value to any house. Their work was so outstanding we intend to have Dixon Drywall return to do two other drywall jobs for us.

I called many companies to get an estimate. Dixon was one of the few who actually called back. Daryl was very professional on the phone and although they weren't the cheapest, I thought I'd rather work with them than the others I had been talking with. I called Daryl and he not only matched the best price, but beat it. They did great work and looks very nice. They were fast and I'm happy with the work performed.

I called Dixon painting, they returned my call the same day and were able to start the job the following day as we caught them between jobs. They came as projected and completed the job on time.

He stuck to his bid, offered us many optains, was there when he said he would be and made this big part of our construction project very easy to deal with. We had a great experience with Daryl. He came out right away to give us an estimate, and we had an estimate in writing within a couple of days. He was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. His estimate was significantly less than others we got, and the final price was right on. The work was awesome! The texture matches exactly to the rest of the house. The quality of the entire job is great. I would absolutely recommend him to others (and I have) and would hire him again. I was also impressed at how quickly the work was completed.

From the beginning, Daryl Dixon was very professional and easy to deal with. My husband and I had a lot of questions for him, and changed our minds about what we wanted a few times. He was able to address all our questions and changes. His crew started the job when he said they would, and were able to finish up within a week. There were a few times when they came earlier in the morning than I was expecting, and I was still in bed (I am not an early riser). Other than that, my husband and I are very pleased with the service, and the quality of the work.

They were on Angie's List. The owner was really good about getting back to me and making sure that I got quality products. I think he does a really good job of trying to make sure that he runs a very honest business. He has a really good crew working with him. It wasn’t a flawless experience but it was still very good overall.

The project was bid, with different price options for types of paint, and number of coats. The job was completed in a clean and timley manner as bid.

Mr. Dixon responded quickly. Came to see the building and explained all of my options. He provided an estimate the next day and we agreed on a strarting date.He and his crew are very professional and do quality work. They even did some things drywaller's usually do not do.He does his best to keep me up to date as the project progresses and completed it on time.

Daryl did some drywall patching after we can some electrical work done. Very courteous and professional. Considerate in the house and cleaned up very well. His workmanship was top notch and a much lower price that other estimates. He also made himself available within reasonably short notice (1 week). I highly recommend him and his crew!

We have an old small house and needed more usable space in the basement. Our makeshift office looked more like a storage room. Daryl Dixon was prompt to respond. He listened to our concerns and ideas and quickly came up with a viable plan. He explained things thoroughly and we felt confident that he knew exactly what we wanted. The estimate arrived within a few days and the work was scheduled in 2 weeks. He briefed us on what to expect during the renovation. A few minor snags arose but were quickly addressed. The work was amazing, clean lines and great attention to detail. Daryl is very professional, a good listener, and a nice guy! We recommend him unreservedly.

We have contracted with five painting contractors over the past 12 years, some good some bad, some mediocre, but only one we can call superior. Our project included painting our living room walls and cathedral ceiling, the bedroom hall and a open stairwell. We selected Dixon Drywall and Texturing because of good reviews on Angie's List. Although Dixon has a favored paint supplier they were flexible and willing to use any quality brand name we desired. We chose to use the brand they recommended and for once the colors on the finished walls and ceiling matched the colors on the sample chips! The work went as expected except for a scheduling error on our part. You see, we had also contracted with a concrete contractor to redo our front entrance. They concrete people showed up early on the second day of painting and shut off access to the front of the house! The folks from Dixon Drywall and Texturing just smiled as they carried paint and equipment halfway down the block, around the the concrete contractors trucks and equipment. They smiled as they carried everything around our house to the back door. They smiled when the job was done and they had to repeat the process in reverse at the end of the day. The smiles and the attitude were sincere. The owner, Daryl Dixon walked us through a final inspection, and made sure we knew he would do whatever was needed to make the work satisfactory to us. He sincerely thanked us for our business. We sincerely thank him for restoring our faith in painting contractors.

They could not have been more professional and communicative. I was given an estimate that was well within reason (I checked with my builder), and due to the addition of another small project they actually did more and with the $50 Angie's discount, they charged me less than the estimate.They were punctual, very neat and the whole thing was a pleasure. Don't know about the others, but I would highly recommend them.

They came in and worked efficiently and thoroughly. We are very please by their work.

Our DIY basement project was going great: plumbing, electrical, framing, hanging sheet rock, the whole works. As we got to the taping and mudding the drywall, we contacted a couple of companies to come out and give us a price estimate on putting texture on the walls. Of the companies, Daryl was by far the most customer friendly and the most competitively priced of the group. In the end, we ended up asking him to come in and take the basement from where we were that day, all the way through to finish with paint. Daryl and his crew fixed all of our beginner mistakes, textured and painted the basement with exceptional quality. I am very happy with how the basement turned out and the decision to hire the guys at Dixon Drywall to do the work.I would definitely recommend giving them a call for any of your drywalling needs.

From the time we asked for an estimate untill the work was down everything was very professional from including a detailed estimate. We are very satisfied with the work Dixon Drywall provides. We will recomend them to anyone and will have them return for more projects.
