I was impressed that the day after I bought the coupon, I was called to set up an appt. He was professional and on time. He took his time to hear our concerns and then did a thorough evaluation and explained everything to me. They called ahead to schedule the appt day of the work and the day of the work, they called before they came to let us know. They fixed all the things that were discussed (securing downspouts, caulk skylights). They were excellent at communicating with us before, during and after the work.

Totally professional organization. We contacted Erik initially to get a quote to re-roof our garage. He was quick to respond and very price competitive. He followed up proactively up until the day work was set to begin. The work was done in half a day and the area around my garage was left spotless. I'd highly recommend.

The crew was workmanlike and friendly. The started about 7:30 am and finished at dark (@ pm). The second day was extremely windy but the worked as if it was a beautiful summer day. After completion, the returned a third day to clean up yard debris like roofing materials and nails. You would never know, by the looks of the yard, that the job was ever done.

We got the roofer off of Angie's list. They were very thorough and did a really nice job. It is the right color and lay out. The inside carpenter was very particular about his work and it was great.

Erik and his entire crew are extremely professional and hard working individuals. Everything was explained in detail and backed up in writing. The crew arrived and promptly started work. My neighbors were amazed at how hard working and efficient they were. They cleaned up everything and you wouldn't even know they had been there except for the fact I had a beautiful new roof with all new gutters. I would highly recommend Big Fish to anyone looking for a roofing contractor. I am a single homeowner and was impressed at Erik's patience with my many questions.

They were extremely professional. The work done was completed on time and under what I originally budgeted for. Erik and Big Fish are wonderful to work with and I recommend them to all who need the services they provide.

Erik was excellent to work with. He was patient and accommodating when decisions needed to be made. He was very easy to reach by phone or email and most times got back to you the same day if you left a message. When the work started we were very pleased with the caliber of his staff - they were respectful, polite and very hard working individuals. What amazed us though was how other than seeing our new roof, one would never know Erik's crew was working at our house meaning our yard, driveway and landscape were left unscathed from the work, everything looked as it did before they started. We would highly recommend using Big Fish Contracting.

Big Fish was the best contractor we have ever dealt with! They were polite, punctual and did quality work. They cleaned up the roofing materials as they worked. They arrived at 7am on Tuesday and our roof was completed by Wednesday afternoon. They removed the old antenna and tacked down some loose exterior siding. I can't tell you how easy it was to deal with these professionals. Well, maybe I can - 2 neighbors were SO impressed that they have now contracted with this company. You will be very pleased!

After receiving several estimates which were all very similar we went with Big Fish. We felt Erik was very honest and easy to work with. All the work was done as scheduled. We had very nice weather for early November so the roof was done in 2 days and the gutters in one. Clean-up after each day was excellent! The workers were all very respectful of our property and really worked well as a team. The roof and gutters look great, we are very pleased with the results and would strongly recommend Big Fish to anyone needing a new roof or gutters.

I am extremely pleased with the work that Erik and his company provided me with. From the start, Erik was prompt in his contacts and very patient in explaining all work proposed and the process. My perception of his integrity is what made me comfortable in relying on and trusting his expertise to provide me with what needed to be done and with the right products for my situation. The work was started in a reasonable time with the main roofing done all in one day. His crew was awesome! Seven people arrived early in the morning, worked hard all day, no "lolly-gagging" They were all very polite and respectful, answering many questions I asked and took the time to explain things. An amazing job was done on cleaning up the property at days end. Due to weather, the gutters were done 3 days later but once again with the same skill and attention that the roofing crew provided. Patching was done on a small flat rubber roof over kitchen leak area rather than a larger replacement expense at this time. If that isn't successful, I will have no hesitation in consulting Erik again next spring. A great job was done, I feel very lucky to have come across this company and I can highly recommend this contractor and his crews! Great job Erik and Big Fish!!!

I can't recall who initiated the first call informing of the Big Deal however, when I spoke with Eric he was very friendly and accommodating. He quickly scheduled a date for the inspection and work. When he came out for the inspection he explained that a few shingles were sliding off the roof and that the trees in my yard are partly to blame. He also explained that they would look at both the house and the garage. Additionally, they could do some chalking near an addition that I was concerned about. I didn't write down the date work was to be completed so I forgot the exact date the work was to be performed. When the workers came out they got right to work. As a matter of fact I didn't know they were there until I heard the noise on the roof. At any rate, they completed the work quickly and did not leave a mess outside. They were onsite maybe 2 hrs. I can't recall the exact time frame as I was working. When I asked, they provided a nice de-brief of work performed and gave me a few suggestions. I only have 1 suggestion: leave a leaflet or workorder detailing services performed. If I were not at home that day (for a different reason ) I wouldn't have known they were there. Additionally, I forgot to ask how bad were the gutters. I have guards on them but I would like to have known the condition. Other than this I was completely happy with the work performed. Additionally, thanks for the lesson. As soon as Eric left I read Matthew 4:19.

Big Fish was one of the only contractors that did not try to up-sale me or convince me to buy their own products. I trusted him and his crew. They were on time, kept the job site clean, and did an all over great job. I would rehire them in the future.

Absolutely honest estimate with explanation of exactly what was going to be included. Price was same or lower than other estimates where I didn't get the feeling that all was being explaned. Big Fish showed up on schedule and completed the roof in 2 1/2 days. They used their own employees only, no pick up workers. The gutter truck took 2 days to put in all new gutters with leaf protectors. Very little noise, no dirt falling into the house and complete pickup of waste materials. I would stongly recommend Big Fish for any work they do.

Everything was great. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. Eric, the owner, was very professional in all of his conversations with me and very prompt to attend to the initial issue that I had with a roof. It was that a few of our shingles had fallen off of our roof in a windstorm and I contacted them that night. He was out the next morning to look at the problem and to assess our roof and then patched it. We discussed what needed to be done and everything. His team that actually did the roof work was very clean, very prompt, and very good at what they were doing.

He scheduled a time to come out and called last minute to tell me he was going to be an hour late. He came out and gave me the estimate which was $1000 higher than the other estimates I received. He told me he would send a worker out to complete the work but nobody ever came out to my home. He never called and after over a month of waiting, I don't want him to even do the work.

They are wonderful. The price was very good and their work is thorough and wonderful. They are courteous. I don't have enough good things to say about them. The guy who gave us the estimate was Eric and he was really detailed about what was wrong with the roof, and I had known some of it. He told us exactly how much it was going to cost and it was lower than other estimates I had got. There were a couple of minor things that he just threw in for free. The workers, who work full time for him, were exceedingly polite. They asked good questions and did a pretty thorough job and even came out and checked the job. I may get some work done next year and will definitely use them.

I couldn’t be happier. There’s a gentle trust, competence, honesty and quality. Not only one would think that they are going to do a good job, they do a good job. I had a bid for this job from 20 or 30 people and I think I got the best people and the best price. They are very responsive, punctual and professional. I like them. I’ve been responsible for 14 million dollar worth of contracting work at my church and I know that Big Fish is a good contracting company to deal with. I’ve recommended them and I would use them again in the future if need be.

This was via an Angie's List Big Deal. Eric proactively called me the day after I placed the online purchase, and the work was done within days. Easy!

When Eric came out for the inspection he found out that our skylight had never been caulked and that there were some nail pops and a shingle missing. He informed me that with those minor problems repaired we would be able to get 2-3 more years out of our roof. He was prompt, professional and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He made some suggestions for when we do have our roof replaced and said that he would send his tech out to do the repairs within the week. On Friday his tech showed up and while he was repairing the things that Eric found he also found that there was no caulking done anywhere on the roof. He not only did the repairs that Eric found (including replacing the missing shingle at no extra cost), but he also caulked around the fireplace chimney and all the exhaust fans and repair some of the gutters that needed some minor maintenance. I was 100% satisfied with Big Fish and will be contacting them in 2-3 years when it is time to get our roof redone for a quote. I was impressed by the quality of the work done (the tech could have just done what he was sent out to do, but chose to go the extra mile - that is hard to find anymore) but the honesty of the company and its employees!

The young man that showed up to do the work were professional and courteous. They arrived promptly each day and definitely put in a full day's work. They cleaned up after themselves each day. I would recommend Big Fish. They really did a nice job.

I disliked that the salesman said that in the process of removing the roof they would also damage the gutters so part of the quote included the cost of new gutters.

They did a great job. They tore everything off and put on new shingles. It was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up after themselves. Everything was very positive. It was the lowest estimate I had, out of half a dozen.
