Installation was done incorrectly resulting in a flood to the furnace unit. When called Quality Heating stated it was not covered under warranty and I would need to spend $2500 to repair or buy a new unit for 4500-5000. As this was an installation issue which caused the damage, Quality heating should have been responsible for the repairs. To date no resolution has occurred. Furnace was installed in fall of 2009 and is still under Carrier waranty, yet Quality Heating states this is not covered as due to water damage.

Arrived 30 minutes early, needed an extra day to finish job. But other than that work was done very well, the price was lower than most other guys, workers was nice and professional. I would go with them again.

Tom initially provided a thorough and prompt estimate as well as details on how the project would proceed and the training and experience his staff had with this particular product . He was punctual, professional, accurate, honest and he answered all of my questions, initially in person and then later through follow-up emails. The project was set up promptly and according to our personal schedule. On the day of the installation, Mike and Eric were on time, they also explained everything, patiently answered all of my questions, did a very professional job and cleaned up very nicely after they were finished. There was only one small glitch regarding the color of a component (wrong color was delivered), but Tom brought the correct item immediately, so this small misunderstanding did not delay any of the work. The subsequent city inspection showed everything was done properly. All in all we were very pleased with the work.

Very prompt service. Able to replace furnace next day after estimate during the dead of winter. Pricing slightly higher than a few others but overall good quality and service. Although I ended up purchasing a top of the line furnace, the salesman was initally pushing the mid-range unit. I didn't feel like he was pushing the most expensive option, and it was only at my request that we went with the higher priced unit.

While the guy couldn't resolve the issue completely, he was able to fix it upto a good extent. Compared to someone from a different company who was not even able to appreciate the issue. He was also able to give some good tips. No pressure to upsell or over do things. I like him being honest, upfront and knowledgeable.

I called the company and got a return call from Greg. Greg called me back right away and walked me through how to fix my problem over the phone. He was VERY patient with me and did not hang up with me until I got the problem fixed. He even called back a second time when I had a question. Thank you So much for your excellent customer service on a holiday Greg! Much appreciated!

We used them in 2003 for a basement remodel. They replaced our air conditioner in 2010. They have been doing the annual maintenance on our air conditioning since 2003. We also call them for a service call when required. The preventative maintenance charge seems a little steep; we are currently questioning whether we should continue on the preventative maintenance program since we just recently had the air conditioner replaced. I would definitely recommend them. They have always been friendly and timely. The maintenance guys have always been easy talk to. They tell us what is wrong and explain it well. I am very comfortable in having them in my home.

Quality Heating and Sheet Metal did a great job on our room addition. They were very professional. Steve Smith was good to deal with and the lead man in the field and the guy who did the work were absolutely great. The job was very professionally done. They found a great way to route the heat ducts. I could tell that Quality Heating and Sheet Metal is all about client satisfaction. They did a great quality job all around.

The two workers arrived on time all the days they were here working. The work was more involved than originally anticipated. Thus they had to come four days rather than the two expected. No additional charges were made. The workers were courteous and efficient. They cleaned up after their days' work. I felt they were completely trustworthy and left them alone for long stretches at a time. Nothing was touched. The supervisor came by to check on the work and walked me through the progress of the process. He had a good relationship with the workers and seemed to respect them. After the last day, I noticed one hole that was not plastered. (There were literally dozens throughout the house.) An easy oversight. I emailed Keith Williams, the owner/supervisor. He responded immediately that he would have one of the workers contact me for a convenient time to come to do the plastering. The worker did so and came the same day we spoke. One morning it had snowed quite a bit. As I was about to go out to shovel, I noticed that the workers each had a shovel from my garage and were busy at work! They would not let me life a finger and did the entire area. I live on a corner so the work was quite extensive. They refused to accept any money for their work. I was touched by their kindness and generosity.

They showed up right on time. Very friendly. Explained everything in detail and fixed a few things done wrong from another company on the duct work. Very knowledgeable and quick. My only disappointment was that the air conditioner has a pretty significant dent in it (and it's brand new) and the electric now seems to dim the lights quite a bit when it kicks on, but our old one never did that. I understand it draws a lot of electricity but I'm told by friends in the trade business that the wiring should have been upgraded for that appliance (AND that I should not have a dented unit -that's apparently bad) I left a message for the gentleman that quoted the job, but I never heard back from anyone. I think they should put an undented air conditioner in since I spent that kind of money and update the electric.

They were very responsible and responsive. They were very good and I will use their services in the future.

Quality Heating is the reason I joined Angie's List. I was so unhappy with their service that I needed an alternative. Quality Heating installed our HVAC when our house was built. When we had issues with a vent that did not work, and a humming noise, we called them for service. The humming was due to an imbalance in the return air duct. They suggested leaving the summer/winter damper in a middle position year 'round (this did eliminate the humming, but did not address the incorrect installation defect). For the inop vent, they did not have an answer. Since the vent is upstairs, they suggested turning off all the other upstairs vents to force more air into the inop duct (didn't make a noticeable difference). Charged me ~$250 for this wonderful advice, took no responsibility for their install.

It went well. I bought a house that had an addition put on years back. When the addition was built, the contractor never added duct work for the kitchen vent. As a result, everything vented into the drywall. Quality Heating came in and fixed it. Now, everything works great.

Technician was very helpful, explained the items he was checking and why. I asked about a problem we were having with one bedroom not cooling enough in summer, he gave some suggestions which we will try out next summer when it gets hot. Technician was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable.

My air conditioner was not working. I had not used the company previously. A service tech was already scheduled for a service call near my house that afternoon and arrived about 2 hours after my initial call. The company called me shortly before the tech arrived to let me know he was on his way. He examined the system indoors and out and showed me the broken part and explained what he needed to do and the costs, and completed the work efficiently. I also asked him some questions about air/heat replacement issues as my furnace is getting near the end of its expected life. He provided helpful information but made clear that the air conditioner should have at least a few years left.

I am very pleased with their service. Last fall we upgraded with a new furnace and central air system. We did not shop around. We know the quality they provide and trusted them to do this installation.

They are just a really good reliable company. They are very professional and responsive. They have people who know their stuff.

Wonderfully. Steve called the next morning to tell me that the electrician had made a minor mistake in wiring. Steve sent our his technician that day to fix the problem. (Used our lock-box - I didn't need to be there). All in all, made a potentially painful situation as pleasant as possible.

They've been in the community for a long time and I had them install my previous furnace as well. They are very reliable.

If I have a problem with either unit they send a tech out right away. They answer questions very well. They also have a warehouse where you can pick up things you need.

WE HAVE USED QUALITY HEATING FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR TO BOTH OUR AIR CONDITIONERS AND OUR FURNACES. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE TECHNICIANS. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.
