It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He did a really good job. He did the job really fast. There were 2 ways that he could have done it: one that woul have been very expensive and one that was fairly expensive. He chose to try the inexpensive way first and that worked. I think a lot of times companies tend to go with the expensive route and just charge you more money and he chose not to do that and that worked out great. I paid an additional amount for an hour of extra labor and some parts that he had to do.

Arrived on time, completed job safely and completely.

I called several times and did not hear a response until 5 days later, when I had already contacted another electrician. The electrician did end up calling back apologizing saying that he had been out of town. He sounded nice enough that I felt bad for calling someone else. I however had bought a coupon for him on Angie's List. After I did not hear back from him for so long I thought he was too busy to deal with me. I wish he would have had his voice mail say he was out of town and when a customer could expect to hear back from him.

They were prompt and professional and honest. The work was done quickly and to our satisfaction They gave good advice on how to deal with future electrical projects.

Great Service. Chandelier was very heavy and the old box was flimsy and needed to be replaced. He had to go into attic and install a custom brace to support the weight. He went above and beyond to get everything done correctly and on time. Price was good as well. Very satisfied.

Dennis was late because his "son wouldn't move his boat in the driveway", which was odd to specifically state to a potential customer. He was "too tired" to give me an estimate upon inspecting the job, but promised to get back to me with an estimate. Never did. Stay away from this lazy bum.

Setting up an appointment for the job was a challenge due to the weather, this was not his fault since this was an installation outdoors during winter months.. He and his son were very professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions...( I always have questions). They did install a dusk to dawn light on my front porch, and did wire and install a dusk to dawn light above my garage door for security purposes. I was satisfied with the work, and did realize that I asked him to do more than the promotion for which I paid. What surprised me, was that I was informed that I had to pay him AND his son separately the hourly price for the other work which was preformed. In the past when work was done, I paid for the job, irregardless of how many were on the job. I realized that I made a mistake when I asked them to make the light above the garage a dusk to dawn as the light was way too bright. He did return to readjust it to be a motion light for free, which was very nice and professional. I did appreciate that. They are very good at what they do.

All went very well. Dennis is very knowledgable, direct and experienced. I originally called him to increase my service (from 100 to 200 amps). After thoroughly inspecting my wiring (and finding the error in the furnace circuit), he convinced me that I could do perfectly well with my current service. He returned to do our agreed work exactly on-time, and he executed the task just as agreed. I was very pleased with the work and would use Dennis again.

We'll be calling Kane Electric back when we do the electrical system in the house we're remodeling. We talked for about an hour of what we're going to do. We thought he seemed pretty good. He scoped out the house and gave us some good feedback. I didn't dislike anything about him. He seems like a decent electrician. We like the fact that he was willing to work with us and not just do all of the work. We wanted to do some of the work ourselves and he said he was open to having us work alongside him and him showing us what to do. We that we'll be able to learn something about wiring, if we ever want to add lights ourselves or something. It's nice that he's willing to work with us and not just giving us a price where he's going to do it all. They were responsive and got here on time.

Overall, I was pleased with the service. The only two minor complaints would be I thought the electrician would have labeled the new circuit, but more importantly he made numerous trips back out to his truck for supplies. It seemed like he tried using up more time so that when he wrote up the bill, he "justified" his hourly rate when in reality he spent a half an hour going to and from his truck needlessly.

I was satisfied with the services provided. The work exceeded my expectations.

I saw Kane electric had a special on Angies List so I made an appointment. Mr Kane came on time, listened to my description of the problem, then set to work to inspect the wiring. He found the issue quickly, fixed it, then fixed a couple other issues at a minimal additional cost. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Kane Electric for any future electrical needs.

called to make appointment on 2/18 and he returned my call that afternoon. arranged for time the following day and he showed up exactly at that time. he had to add wires to existing wires as they were to short to allow proper wiring of the fan, which was the main reason i wanted a professional electrican to do the job. i was very happy with the work he did. as far as the elecrical box, it was not bad and we can't check to see if the pipe is rusted as the ground is frozen right now.

Dennis called me the morning after I purchased his Electrical Panel inspection and 1 hour of work deal on Angie's list to set up an appointment time. He tried to fit me in the day of, but was a bit too busy to pull it off, so we set a firm date for the day after. He was VERY flexible on the appointment time (officially 4:30 pm), and was able to show up a bit early when I called him around 4:00 to say I was ready for him before I had expected to be. He came in, looked over the electrical panel, figured out he needed some parts, and ran out to get them. Then he did the install and was done quickly. Professional and prompt. I'm sure I'll be calling him for future work.

Great. Bought an electrical service check through Angie's List and added an update to several electrical outlets in my house. Very soon after I bought the Angie's List deal, they called to schedule appointment.. Arrived on time, were professional and thorough. Would use again and would recommend.

I needed to have work done in my tenants' flat as well as my own. These were all small jobs, but were annoying issues that needed to be repaired. As noted above, these jobs were done quickly and efficiently. I originally contacted Dennis as a result of the $69 for one hour work offer through Angie's List. The job(s) took half an hour longer, but I certainly couldn't complain about that. Everything was done to my satisfaction and Dennis even suggested a fix that would save me money. He was polite and informative.

Nice experience, would use this company again.

I purchased the Groupon certificate at the last minute, just before a weekend. Dennis left a message over the weekend and we arranged an appointment. He showed up promply and completely explained the nature of the service that required repair. He explanied each of the items on the bill. Would highly recommend him for electrical service.

A tenant had forced off an electrical box cover so that he could get energy from another tenant. The electrical box was manufactured by a Company that was no longer in existence and replacement parts were unavailable. Kane improvised and made the repair to satisfy the electric company

Dennis Kane arrived on time and got right to work on the removal and installation of our ceiling fan. He was very friendly but professional. He stayed, what I believe over his hour time that I purchased, to make sure that I knew how to operate the remote that got installed into the wall and controlled the fan. When he was finished with the ceiling fan, he went down to check our electrical box to make sure it was up to code. I would hire Dennis again and recommend him to others.
