Install did not happen; can you assist me in getting a refund? Totally frustrated with this contractor. Initially he was very responsive, but have not heard from him in 3-4 weeks to reschedule. I stayed home from work to meet the contractor for the the last scheduled time; and he ended up not showing, but he did call to say he was running behind on a project that had many issues. We discussed a Saturday install in June; since that conversation and several no response e-mails to him; I would just like to sever the project and get my money refunded. I will look for another contractor to do the work.

Rian had to reschedule because he is very busy with the specials he is running. I think you have to have patience with this one. Everything went well after he was able to come out finally. Hooked up an outlet to a an exhaust fan I was having trouble with. All works!

I did not pay more than the Big Deal. The service was fine. He was on time and efficient.

The gentleman who came over was prompt and friendly. He did the work quickly and I'm extremely pleased with the results.

The electricians were prompt and courteous. Everything went smoothly except for an issue with We Energies that was handled quickly and professionally.

He went through the house and he didn't find anything wrong, he found certain things that needed to be upgraded, but he never came back to upgrade. I can't give him a good recommendation because he never followed through. I called him a couple of times and then I just forgot about it, because he didn't seem concerned. I am sure he is a good electrician, but he didn't follow through. He was a nice enough guy and I liked him, but the whole thing hinged on him coming back and doing the improvement.

Was very professional, arrived promptly and had a great sense of humor. Will definitely use him again.

I emailed Rian Wandschneider on 5/15 because I could not get him by phone. He answered my email on 5/30. I replied on 5/31. I never heard back from him. I sent Angie's List a complaint about this merchant and asked for a refund but never got a reply. I will never purchase another certificate from Angies List because the two I purchased were busts. I cannot believe that they would even put this merchant out there for anything - except that $ make the world go round.

Randy introduced himself and then went off on a one-half hour RANT about state and federal goverment and told me he believes there will be an armed revolution against all politicians and government. Very scary! He responded to several cell phone calls, both professional and personal, while he was working here. I did ask him for an estimate for future work in my attempt to assuage his cocky and angry attitude. Before he left he complained about the percentage Angie's List takes from his fee. I share my careful observations with you, BUT I definitely DO NOT want my comments shared with service provider for fear of retribution.

Rian Wandschneider, operator of Elite Electrical Connections, inspected the electrical service ---indoor and outdoor-- and checked on two lighting problems with exterior lights. One, an exterior garage light, required him to climb a rather rickety drop-down staircase from the garage attic and check wiring in a very confined space. He maintained an excellent sense of humor in spite of getting pretty dirty! Both lighting problems were fixed easily and quickly. He commented on the age and grounding condition of the electrical meter feed and the basement service box, and said that neither was a problem that needed to be addressed at this time. I, however, elected to contract with him to replace & update some components as well as replace a very old recessed light fixture. A future appointment was scheduled and I will report on that event separately.

Rian does a great job and gives great prices for additional work. Today was his 2nd appointment at my house that I'm getting ready to sell and I scheduled a 3rd appointment with him. Top quality and great attitude about his work.

Arrived on time and looked at the 2 requested jobs. Had to go to hardware store for outlet and cover for wall. Quickly and efficiently completed work.

When he made an appointment he was here. My work was performed over two visits to my house. He worked steadily the whole time he was at my house. In several instances he identified previous work that was not to code or substandard and he fixed it at no extra cost to me. He patiently explained what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. I thought the work he did looked very clean and professional. He takes a lot of pride in his workmanship. Communication can sometimes be difficult with Rian since his workload is heavy at times and he hasn't time to return phone calls quickly. We talked about his difficulty finding dependable employees and I believe he will find some good people and his business will grow and prosper. I felt in each instance when I asked him about a task that he gave me a very fair and honest price. I have already scheduled another task for him in July. For the work he just finished for me I feel I got a very very good deal. I would recommend Elite Electrical Connections highly.

Very smooth - he explained what he would be doing & did it. He took the time to explain the function of the fan. It is much quieter than our old one. In fact, in the shower, you can't hear it at all. Great job.

Rian was a little hard to get a hold of in the beginning. It took several emails and phone calls for us to connect, but once we did, the experience with him was very good. My wife & I wanted to have a light switch installed at three locations in our living room. Rian came over to do an estimate and he quickly identified what was needed in order for the install. The price he quoted me at was very reasonable, so I decided to hire him. On the day of the install, he didn't arrive at the time of the scheduled appointment. It wasn't a big deal, but I kind of wish he would have called and gave me a heads up that he was running late. Regardless, he and one of his employees completed all of the work as described in the initial consultation. They even found a short in one of the existing wires and completed the necessary fix. Rian is very personable and honest, which makes it easy to overlook some of the negatives I mentioned. I will and already have used him again for other electrical work that I've needed.

Perfect! Showed up on time, completed the tasks assigned in a professional and curteous manner.

It went well. Rian knew what he was doing, courteous with a sense of humor. He gave me an estimate and some recommendations on my next electrical project.

Aside from having trouble coming to the house for the work as scheduled he is a nice guy and quickly took care of the issue.

Very knowledgeable and fixed our problem - knew exactly what to do. Fixed a problem that another electrician caused. I'd highly recommend them.

I signed up for the Angie's list coupon thinking that this would cover a partial cost of the work that I needed done. The electrician fixed everything I needed done and never charged anything more than the coupon. I would absolutely use their service again.

Rian arrived and we chatted for about a half hour about life in general. He soon got to work and was quick to replace the outlets. No issues, no complaints, did exactly what he came to do.

Went very well, done in 2 hours.

I spoke to them twice and he seemed like a smart alec whenever I spoke to him. They didn't deliver the ceiling fan and didn't return my phone calls. His voice message box got filled up and I was so fed up with them I called Angie's List. It wasn't until I called Angie's List to find another provider for this offer that they did call me back. Whether or not it was a coincidence, I told him I was already done with him and looking elsewhere.

Usually no response for phone massages. The first appointment (4/11/2013) has been cancelled via email and the reason for the cancellation was, that "I lost power this morning and am trying to get that taken care of". To set up the second appointment was difficult. Finally he promised via email that he will stop at my house last Friday (04/26 /2013) or Monday (04/29/2013) "later of the afternoon"( no exact time was given). Needless to say he did not show up or contacted me to cancel these appointments.

I purchased this inspection and called to set up a time and left message. I heard nothing for 2 weeks so I called again and left another message. I tried one more time after no response and he did answer. He told me this special was not clear and he would do what he could to make it right. He said he could stop by Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. It has been weeks now and nothing. At this point, I am out the money I spent for the special and would not do business with someone like this.
