Description of Work: I love the windows. I purchased them through an Angie's Deal, so the price was good. The only problem I encountered was scheduling the measurements (the man didn't come the day or time we had agreed on), and also the windows were very late. Installation went smoothly, however. Better communication with the clients is my advice to Abby. I ended up calling them to find out why things were dragging on so late...

Description of Work: We had two windows replaced by Abby Windows, one of which was a "Big Deal" value. They did a very thorough job and extremely good work not to mention the quality windows! The estimate as well as installation process was very pleasant and the crew was really nice...they took great care in matching the trim and install to the rest of our house also cleaned up very well after the job. We even received nice comments from the neighbors about how respectful the crew was (as our house is close to others and noisy crews/projects get noticed) and how great the windows looked. Soon after the job was complete, I received prompt followup from Abby with the remaining paperwork needed for my records (ie. warranty information, window care, etc.) which also was a testament to their thoroughness and continued professionalism. We are very much enjoying our kitchen this summer with the airflow and views much improved! Thanks!

Description of Work: Work was not performed. Abby came out promptly for an initial evaluation, but the work we needed did not align with the big deal. Instead an estimate for new gutters was provided. This estimate was considerably higher than others, so we chose another contractor. Abby and I went back and forth about the work that was to be performed--she apparently lost one of her crew chiefs during this period--and ultimately I asked for a refund. The refund was a hassle (refund had to be given by Angie's List, not Abby Windows). I cannot speak to the quality of work. Abby herself was pleasant and prompt in communication. Overall, the experience was very poor. I likely will not purchase another Big Deal for this reason.

Description of Work: After I purchased the Big Deal the service provider was prompt in scheduling an estimate. The estimation process went well, but there was little to no contact with me on the follow-up to schedule the work to be completed. After a month and a half I contacted them to schedule and she assured me her expediter would be contacting me shortly. Another month went by with no contact. I then wrote to her asking for a refund. We needed some minor maintenance work on the siding and gutters and she said our siding was a kind they couldn't work with. That is fine, but something that should have been communicated during the estimation process, or anytime sooner than three months later! No work was completed so I cannot comment on the quality of the work.

Description of Work: I tried to use the coupon but we had some troubles getting the work set up. First we got rained out and I have called to reschedule and have left messages for John from Abbys to call to reschedule but he has not returned my calls.

Description of Work: Hi, I [purchased a 150.00 ffor Abby Windows. It is number ExtMaint-603937-1. She was amazing except that she started off quoting me 900.00 and then it went to 1500. I realize she may have made a mistake in her quote but i kind of just don't want to deal with contractors who change their prices. It was a really easy siding job, not too large and it freaked me out. I have had bad experiences with getting very unfair price increases and etc after being quoted. Could I please just have a refund? You can look at my Angie's list purchase record and see that I am not a big whiner and I give positive reviews. I don't want to hurt her business as she is cool. I have already emailed with her about this. I won't write any bad reports about her or tell anyone about this. Thanks so much!
