I thought everything went very well. After Nikos installed the faucet he found that I had faulty shut off valves so he replaced them with new ones. When installing the new toilet it did not sit flush with the floor. This is an older home and not exactly level. Nikos had to shim it up and that seems to be working fine. There were no issues with the installation of the exhaust fan. I thought Nikos was very professional and helpful when explaining the issues he ran into and how he could fix them. I also asked for his advice on things not related to what he was working on and he was very informative and made suggestions as to how I could proceed in fixing them as well. I am very pleased with the outcome of my initial contact with Nikos Home Improvements and I will be using his services in the future. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a handyman.

He was extremely excellent. Everything you can say about him was just great. He went over and above what he had to do. He actually quoted us a price and he did more work than the original and he didn't charge us anything extra. We definitely would use him in the future.

The service was OK and he did the job but he did not do what he said he was going to do. I chose the because of the deal. I asked him to do some work on my building and on my floors and he agreed to do it and then he kind of got double booked so he was unable to do it. He was professional and punctual.

Nikos was amazing. I had many jobs for him to do in my house, garage, and outside during the two hour timeframe. He did all thoroughly and well. He even returned a different day for no charge to do another spackling layer so that it would be perfect.

Nikos responded quickly to our request to take a look at the odd jobs we needed to have done. He came by on a Saturday, and we scheduled a date for the projects. Nikos was pleasant, professional, and suggested the ways to get the best use of his time and our money...in other words, be as organized as possible. The first two hours were an Angie's List "Deal". He billed us for the remainder of the time. He was here for an entire day. We were very pleased with everything he accomplished.and we will definitely be calling him again in the near future.

I wasn't home at the time of the service but my wife was very pleased with his work and intends to have him back for more work she would like done in the future.

The entire experience was great. Nikos not only provides top quality service, he also makes sure that his customers don't spend money they don't need to. Example: the lower frame of a garage window had rotted out. I was fine with Nikos buying an entire new window to replace it, but he demurred - instead he bout a piece of wood that matched the window, cut and painted it, then replaced the rotted piece with the new; it was a savings of at least $150 to me. Nikos is also very quality conscious. When installing the bike hoists he deemed the hardware that came with the kit to be too flimsy - it would probably only have lasted a couple of years. So he used his own heavy duty fasteners to make sure the job would last.

Went good - seemed to take longer than anticipated (6 hrs. Total).

Over the years, I have hired a number of repairmen for various small jobs around the house. Hands down, Nikos is my favorite. He responded quickly when I contacted him; he explained various options for the repairs I needed; he explained exactly what he was going to do; he did an excellent job - real expertise and quality; he cleaned everything up; and he did all of this in a cordial and pleasant way; his charges were very reasonable. The next time I need some work done I will definitely call Nikos. He is an expert who knows what he is doing and he is a gentleman.

Nikos did an amazing job. He's VERY busy, so it took a while to schedule, but he was really worth the wait. A true gentleman, he patche the hole and did a great job of blending into the rest of the ceiling. We'll be hiring him again!

He was very neat. He cleaned up everything. He was willing to work around my crazy schedule and got the job done in a timely manner. I am having back to do other jobs.

This was an obnoxious little project for any plumber, what with the need to assess things beforehand, time the work to be done before the countertop people came in, then time the rehookup work to occur ASAP after they were done (later in the afternoon of that same day they put them in) to put everything back together. Sir Nikos :) did everything perfectly, cheerfully, and in a timely manner. He ran into a slight problem when our new disposal unit didn't quite fit in the area it was supposed to, but even though it was getting on into the evening, he figured out what to do, ran and got some parts, and fixed it, whistling quietly all the while. After he was done he explained everything, including how to watch for any issues, to avoid bumping the plumbing until it set up, gave us tips on using the disposal, etc., and answered our questions despite that it was undoubtedly running into his at-home time. The bill was far less than we expected for labor and parts. I would whole-heartedly recommend him for any plumbing jobs. This is an awesome businessman. He cares.

I was concerned the used door I had purchased at the restore would not fit correctly. Nikos eased my mind right away as to whether the door would be the right fit. He was here for our appointment on time & was very personable. He took the hardware off the existing door & used it on the new door. Work was done without concern at all. He kept me informed along the way & went over the install when finished. Nikos also answered my questions on a possible upcoming need I have for more work. I am very grateful & could not ask for better service or a nicer person to do my work. I will hire Nikos again & have already referred him to my family members. Thank you!

Nikos was very excellent at all his jobs, cleaned up after each job. He wasn't afraid to ask questions if I didn't explain myself with the right terms. I spoke to him regarding future projects I have for him, since is didn't have all the supplies need, such as doors, sinks, toilets.

Great! Niko communicated with me right away and we set a date and time. He advised on getting the right switches. He arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. I could tell he knew what he was doing, no hesitation. Friendly but not too talkative. Advised if there was a leak because one of the existing valves was a little old that I should call and he'd come back. Wonderful experience. He showed me photos of some of the tile work he had done. I wish I needed some because he is truly an artist.

Door opens and closes like it was new. Great job.

I did receive a polite and honest e-mail saying that he was not too familiar with dishwasher repair and that although he would be happy to look at it for me, he could not guarantee a remedy to my repairs needed. I therefore, declined and have decided to look elsewhere for a dishwasher repairman. I'm sure I will use Angie's List again in the future, but for now I would just appreciate a refund and I will find someone on my own. Thank you very much. M. C.
