o2Pure Air Duct Cleaning

He arrived exactly when he said he would. Did exactly what he said he would and added in the service of cleaning our dryer vent as well as the dryer vent in the unit below us. he also installed a metal-like wide silver tape where there was joint separation in an effort to eliminate a sort of musty smell that was coming from two of our living room furnace vent. he was careful of his surroundings and considerate in every way.

They did a very good job. They were professional, prompt, and the price was good.

There did not seem to be much of a difference in the dust level.

Their price was very competitive. The owner was responsive, friendly and professional. He seemed to do a thorough job. We'd definitely use them again in the future.

O2 Pure arrived on schedule, and explained the process to me. He even moved my junk out of the way of the furnace to get at the ducts! He was neat and clean around the house, cleaned all the outlet vents, and sucked all the lint/dust/fur out of our vents with his environmentally friendly truck and giant vacuum. He even showed me all the debris that came out of our heating system.Great service, highly recommended.

Kirk answered my questions over the phone the day I called. He scheduled at my convenience on my next day off. He showed up a few minutes early and was thorough, friendly, and professional. He provided us with an Angie's List discount. We are very pleased with the service.

Overall, we had a very good experience. I think they did excellent work. Also, they were able to give me great references for products related to the air system, and these recommendations have already saved us time and money.

We were contacted to confirm date and time prior to service. This was the first time we had a real air duct cleaning. O2 Pure did a VERY THOROUGH cleaning. We were very pleased with the professionalism and the quality of the job. Don't be fooled with the coupon mailers that will claim they clean your vents. This company does it the right!

The men doing the work were considerate and friendly. The equipment used was high end and professional for the work. When the furnace was removed I was able to see inside sections of the duct. They did a very good job. There was next to nothing on the walls of the duct.

Install went well and they showed the material and debris they removed.

Wiped the ductwork as far as my arm could reach after Kirk cleaned the ducts. Rags were BLACK with dirt. Stuck my digital camera inside main duct trunk, duct was FILTHY, wads of CAT HAIR (previous owner had cats), caked on dirt & loose debris. Kirk willingly recleaned the ducts. Large debri was better, rags still came back dirty.Bottom line, advertisement pictures on O2's website are a farse. Kirk was prompt and pleasant,and willing to reclean the ducts, but who wants to pay $525 to have schedule a second cleaning, only to get mediocre results!?!

We needed this service because of a very bad oder coming from the heat vents. The cleaning did nothing to remove this oder and the company did not respond to my asking them why the smell did not go away. The company stated that they would send me an e-mail on a mixture that may help with the oder, however they never did.

I contacted this company after reading the positive reviews. I spoke with Kirk Nygaaard, the owner, who set up a convenient appointment time for cleaning the air ducts and furnace in my home. Upon arrival, Mr. Nygaard handled the job in a courteous, professional and meticulous manner. There was absolutely no mess to clean up after the work was completed and I believe he did an excellent job of clearing the vents and ducts of dust and debris. I will use this service again in the future.

They cleaned them out they surprised us by cutting a whole in our furnace I don't know if that is how they do that so we were surprised with that but they got cleaned so they did what they were suppose to do I think he was good but it would have been nice to not have that surprise.

They were very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Not only did our ducts get cleaned, but we learned some things about the airflow in our house that were helpful. I highly recommend them for duct cleaning.

I ended up finding O2 Pure Air Duct Cleaning on BBB. I was looking for estimates and needed to get additional information outside of this website. They had a great rating on BBB and then I went to Angie?s List and Yelp to get additional reviews. After comparing about 5 companies I went with O2 because of the reviews (safety was more of a concern here than price). Communication was excellent (too bad other companies couldn?t learn from O2). Kirk got back to me right away and we set up an appointment for the following week. I wasn?t able to be at the house during the time that he was going to be there, but worked it out to have him do the work anyway. I took a couple of pictures before and afterwards and you could truly see the difference (sorry I don?t have them loaded on my computer yet). After the work was completed Kirk gave me awesome suggestions, additional ideas on how to improve my ducts, and provided websites and multiple places where I can find items I needed to make the improvements (meaning he didn?t try to sell me something of his). He was just a nice guy and very professional. I would hire him again and HIGHLY recommend him to ANYONE.

KIRK WAS HERE ON-TIME, COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED WITH ALL KINDS OF ACTIVITY GOING ON WITH-IN OUR NEW HOME WHERE WE HAD SEVERAL PROJECTS GOING ON AT ONCE. HE IS REALLY A GREAT PERSON WITH A TON OF INTEGRITY. HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL TO US AND NO ONE COMPARED WITH HIS PRICE.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Kirk did an excellent job and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants their ducts, dryer etc. cleaned without use of chemicals. He was so professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and charged a reasonable price. He showed up 10 minutes early. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't bring in any dirty equipment, hoses or used sheets into my house like other service men had. When I watched him clean out the lint deep down inside my dryer, I could see that he was a very thorough professional. He didn't stop until there was no trace of it left. It went very well! Kirk is so professional and thorough. His assistant cleaned out all my registers and vents while Kirk set up his large vacuum machine to clean out the furnace and the air ducts. It didn't take a lot of time, but it was done thoroughly and I was very impressed with Kirk's knowledge. He also gave me excellent advice about allergies and to change my pillows. There was a slight hitch with the furnace when he turned it back on before he left, as it was still running quite some time later, but not producing heat, so I called Kirk and he arranged for his HVAC guy to come out early the next morning and check the furnace out. Kirk said he would pay for anything that needed replaced or fixed. I'm happy to say the HVAC guy, Warren, came out the next morning, completely checked out the furnace and got it running again. He said nothing needed to be replaced and he could find nothing wrong. Sometimes when furnaces get turned off they need time to reset and to purge the unit of hot air for safety. I would definitely use Kirk again and I'm impressed that he went the extra mile to make sure my furnace was working properly.

Kirk Nygaard, the owner/operator of O2 is fabulous. I selected him and his company because he had such a high rating here on Angie's List. I can see why. The man is very professional, punctual, exceptionally polite and he's got a fantastic portable $20,000 3-filter HEPA air sucking machine that cleaned my ducts within an inch of their life! His business is in Woodinville but he had no problem coming south to where I live in University Place, (Greater Tacoma). He and his associate were very pleasant, focused, they wore fabric booties in my house to protect my floors and they got the job done with expert ease and no dilly-dallying. Did you know there is a National Air Duct Cleaners Assocition (NADCA)? Neither did I. Check out their web site http://www.nadca.com/ and click on the "consumer information" tab and click on the Residential Cleaning Evaluation Checklist to see what should be done for this job if you're not fluent with what should be done. Look, you've likely gotten plenty of coupons in the mail through a ValuPak listing whole house duct cleaning for $49.99. These people are ?blow-and-go? air duct cleaning companies and you should stay away from them. These companies often charge a nominal fee and do a poor job of cleaning the heating and cooling system. These companies may also persuade you into unneeded services with and/or without your permission. Some of them have been kicked out of other states and open up shop here. Their coupons are teasers and their rates are unrealistic. A good cleaning is gonna run you about +-$300-$400 depending upon the square footage of your home and number of ducts and return air ducts. And, frankly, you should be doing this every 3-4 years. Yep, that's right. Every 3-4 years. My house is 3246 sq. ft. so the total I paid with tax is $383.25. Kirk and O2 is a superb duct cleaning business and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends, neighbors and relatives.

I found Ozpure on Angie's list when I my dryer wasn't working and someone suggested it could be my vent. I called Ozpure and described the problem and he gave me his thoughts on what it might be and how much he estimated it would cost. Because I'm quite a ways south of where he's located, we agreed he would contact me within a couple weeks when he had other service calls down my way. Within two weeks we coordinated an appointment that worked for me. He was on time and friendly. He went right to work. The problem did turn out to be a clog in the vent, which he cleaned out. Now the dryer is working great again. When he ran my credit card, he was having trouble with his credit card machine and there ended up being a small error in the amount that went through--a couple numbers were transposed. I noticed it right away, called him, and he took care of refunding the amount promptly. This was a great service and I would hire Ozpure again and recommend them.

O2 Pure Airduct cleaning company was not my first choice but when the fist company I made appointment with did not show up or call that they'll be late 2-3hrs.(my appointment was after 1200noon and I'd been patiently waiting until 2pm I called the company to check since not a single call from them came to tell me that they are late or not coming)I cancelled my appointment with them and that's when I logged in again in Angies list,read reviews and got O2 Pure to clean our airducts and i'm glad and happy I made the right choice. O2 Pure Air Duct Cleaning company owner Kirk care about his client and business.He returned my call, gave me his estimate of our whole house airduct cleaning and gave me an appointment date right there after I asked for his next availability.He called ahead of time(a day before the appointment date) that he'll be moving my appointment time 15mins later and it's ok w/ me since it's a weekend,am home and no other appointments.They came on time w/ his helper,introduced self and went straight to work.This is our second time to have the whole house airduct cleaned and I can say they did a thorough job compared to the last (2yrs ago)we had with another company. .

Kirk arrived 15 minutes early and got right to work. He explained what he was doing, and worked quickly and efficiently, completing the job in about 2.5 hours. My wife remarked that his clean up was immaculate (This is no faint praise. If you are fussy about your house cleaning, take note.) I would also add that Kirk recommended a slight change in the furnace filters we were using. These should be more efficient and economical than those we were buying from the local big box.
