Eastside Exterminators

They were very professional and thorough. Great feedback and a very detailed plan were given to fix the rodent problem.

We had some problems with mice in the foundation, so Eastside Exterminators came to do an inspection and found some existing habitat in the foundation and in the insulation under the house. They did a full service over the course of a week or so, visiting at least three times. They set traps to clear out the rodents living there, then came back at a later date to remove the dead pests and fully seal up the foundation. After a week they came back for another inspection to ensure that nothing had reentered after it was sealed up, and then they completely restored the insulation under the house. The total cost was an eye-opener; quite a bit more than I'd expected. That said, they did extensive work and it was very well done and high quality. They were very professional and punctual. Sometimes you get what you pay for, I guess.

Well, I felt that two traps were not enough...the traps were set out to deep into the forest area and needed to be set closer to the chicken coup. It was worth the education and them hauling away the 3 raccoons I trapped. Paid a 250.00 special fee for a months worth of services.

It went well. Have not seem rodent again since last visited.

They were thorough and professional. They arrived on time.

A few traps were set but no rats were trapped. A possum was trapped however. Service was stopped after a good amount of time as it did not seem to be as effective as I has hoped. Would hope for a more successful outcome as the rats are a nuisance of course. I have tried several brands of rat poisons recently but do not know if is was effective as there are still norway rats here. The population is growing I am sure.

tsmy cat brought a rat in that took up residence in the dishwasher. none of the traps set did any good, the outside bait traps, were changed every 2 months, and the reports said that much of the bait was eaten, but if so where were all of the dead rats? and i felt suckered into the contract. also covered up holes/trails under the house, which was the only thing that i think really did any good. they never picked up the bait traps after the contract was over. also decided that if my cats did catch any more-they always do, i didn't want them to catch an animal that had eaten poison.

The inspector provided photographs of all spaces he inspected. He clearly discussed what he found and a proposed course of action. He also discussed on-going maintenance, prevention, etc. and presented a notebook with the information. At no time did he do a "hard" sell for me to purchase additional services.

The lady came to my house to identify all of the rodent entrances of the house. She showed me some pictures and drawings. I asked her to generate a report with the pictures incorporated. She said yes, but just sent over those pictures, rather than a digital compiled report. The paper report is less useful than I expected.

Walt has over 25 years of experience, and he has taken care of our other house for at least eight years. He's now taking care of this house. Absolutely loyal, smart, and very good at what he does. We had a nasty yellow jacket nest in the ground - they're the nastiest of the nasty stinging things in a garden. They came out and had it taken care of within an hour, and that was the end of it. In our last home we lived by Lake Washington, we had outside rats, but thanks to Walt we never saw one or had one inside. In this house we haven't seen one either, thanks to his efforts. He also discovered a potentially dangerous problem with one of our docks, and he called it to my attention. Walt is a hero.

Bobby, from Eastside Exterminators performed remediation to our house today to keep mice from getting in. Prior to his arrival, about a week ago, an inspector from the company came to our house and mapped all the areas where mice could be getting in. When Bobby arrived, right on time, he had a map of our house, prepared by the inspector, and he was able to get right to work. In addition to the areas that were mapped, Bobby found some other areas he thought needed work, and he just went ahead and did that too. He was really a great guy, knowledgeable and personable. He was very professional... and we feel really good that we're doing everything we reasonably can to keep mice from getting back in. Thanks Bobby!

We have used Eastside for many years. It is great that they almost always send the same service person. He is extremely professional and diligent in his work and takes pride in protecting our house. What finally got me to write a review was this week we had just finished having our roof redone when they did the service. He was out there helping pick up the nails the roofers have left all over.

I get a card on the front door saying they were here. It is a set payment. I think I pay $89 every three months or quarterly. I am satisfied with their services. The first time they came, they checked out the house and stuff and then, put on everything. Everything was pretty much on time. I like the work and the people I talk to.

They were very good. There was nothing that I disliked about their service. They were very friendly. The work turned out very well. They weren't any extra charges.

Eastside came out and did a rodent removal quote using a coupon I got here on Angie's List. We did not attend the appointment, my realtor did, since this was for a home inspection. For the coupon cost ($99) they provided a very detailed estimate that we were able to use in our home buying negotiation, and they would have lain traps except we asked them not too, since we didn't yet own the house. Ultimately we did not wind up using Eastside (we used a company recommended by our neighbors) but their quote spotted the same issues as the winning bid, and was the same price. Many pest control places charge for just an estimate, so $99 (plus traps!) is a bargain.

Angel came to the house. He was very professional. Spent about an hour inspecting crawl space to investigate sounds we had heard in the walls. Turned out there was a large colony of rats living under the house. He took several photos and videos of the damage to show us. Identified several places where rodents could enter the crawl space and developed a plan to correct these problems.

It went very well. My house is comfortable. They did a good job. It went fine. When they left; everything was cleaned up and well done. Their price is reasonable.

This company came out on Christmas Eve and checked our entire house for rodents (i.e. crawl spaces, roof, attic. etc.) after a scare of scratching in the walls. The tech was super nice, thorough, and respectful, making sure to keep the dirt outside. He found no problems, which was refreshing because he could have totally preyed on our fears and told us we were infested. Turned out there may have been a squirrel on the roof outside my window making the scratching noise. I would definitely call them again.

It was great. Right after we purchased it, we scheduled it. They came right out and very prompt. They did exactly as they said. Scheduling was great. They did everything that they said they would do in a timely manner. I was very pleased with them. I will absolutely use them again.

I chose them because they could come right away. Half of them were really good and half of them were just kind of ordinary. I told them I don't want them park near the house or the rental house or anywhere that's connected to the and they complied with that and were very good and I liked that. I have no idea if it works or not but evidently, there are no bed bugs now because the employees are not complaining. First, they came and checked it out then they came back and did this big job and then they waited awhile and they came back and had the boys pack all their things up again and went over it again so I guess they were fine. They knew what they were doing. I guess they were very good. They had a change of workman or something and I kind of didn't like that but then after we got going, they were very good. As far as I know, they did a good job. The boys packed all their things in these big black bags. The guys were very nice. Everything is fine. I don't have any complaints on them so they're fine. I would use them again.

Eastside Exterminators is fabulous! Professional, friendly, and informational. Everyone I dealt with in their office, from the person answering the phone, to the inspector, to the insulation installers, to the rat-proofing expert were all knowledgeable and great to work with. I continue to use their services for traps and removal services. And best of all, still no rats in the crawl space! I would definitely use them for any future pest issues.

Thorough, respectful to property, professional and polite. Communicated well. Still some work to finish, but so far I am please with my experience with this company and the team of workers that have been out to my home.
