Description of Work: Rodent inspection and estimate for exclusion & remediation. The inspection was thorough, however another company provided the inspection and quote for no charge. Their quote for other work was confusing and resolving the questions took too long. Their quote also did not provide a guarantee of keeping the rodents out. We ultimately went with the other provider for the real work.

Description of Work: Set rat traps and identified issues in my attic that needed to be corrected. They will not followup/warranty on the initial service without being the contractor that completes the work.

Description of Work: Eastside Exterminators were thorough and kept every commitment re: service and schedule. They were flexible re: my needs and questions providing me added-value advice and options for my situation.

Description of Work: They inspected for rodents. There was evidence of rodents and raccoons in the past. They set traps and eliminated potential access points. They removed building debris and replaced the vapor barrier.

Description of Work: Performed inspection and notified me of a racoon infestation in my basement. Then Inspected the rest of the house and made notes on all areas that were possible entrances for rodents. He said the immediate need was the racoons, and even gave me a small discount so we could get them set up that day. Then after I went through their detailed list of fixes I scheduled another appointment and had someone come out and do repairs. They were very professional and timely. They also had someone stop by about a week later to make sure all repairs were appropriate.

Description of Work: I felt mislead by the coupon I purchased. The coupon states, "A technician will come out to your home and place traps in the crawlspace, under your home and in the attic. The inspector will provide a complete rodent exclusion report with a detailed map to pinpoint all entry points. After repairs of entry points are completed by Eastside Exterminators, Eastside Exterminators will schedule a second inspection to re-inspect all work and remove the traps." |No traps were placed, no repairs to entry point were done. I was provided the "complete rodent exclusion report" and then got a sales pitch for Eastside's expensive services. I was also informed that I needed to repair the entry point myself after the inspection was done but that's not what I was expecting when I read the above description when I purchased the coupon. My reading of description states "Eastside Exterminators" would repair all of the entry points, not inform me I needed to after their inspection, or pay them to do so. No second appointment was scheduled or done because they wanted me to purchase their services or an expensive package. |I feel taken advantage of and I thought I was getting a great deal on pest elimination but instead I PAID for an inspection that most pest control companies provide for free. As a matter of fact I had my crawl space inspected 7 months earlier for re-insulation and they provided the same information for free. |So annoyed by your misleading advertisement I tell every human being I can find!

Description of Work: Eastside Exterminators did a really thorough job of ridding our crawl space of yet another invasion of rats. Their work was far superior to the last company we called. They trapped the rats, put several bait stations around our backyard, did an excellent job of doing the exclusion work and completely insulated the crawl space once again. This is expensive work but I believe this time it was done right and we won't be experiencing another rat invasion. We have contracted with them to patrol our perimeter bi-monthly as well. I would definitely recommend this company should you have the same problem.

Description of Work: Eastside Exterminators were quick to respond once I had made my purchase. They set up an appointment quickly, though did change the time prior to their arrival without confirming first (thankfully I was available). Everything went quickly downhill from there. Upon arrival, the rep simply asked me "What do you want me to do?" Confused, I told him I had purchased the rodent inspection package on Angie's List, so that was just what I was looking for. He immediately just started looking around as if he wasn't sure what to do before finally asking about the attic (the house does not have one). Eventually he said he would "suit up" and enter the crawlspace. He only placed a pair of knee pads on and started looking. He made many comments about things he was finding as he crawled through a bit of the crawlspace (things that would have been nice on a report) then just crawled back out. He said he would prepare a report and be back in a minute, then returned with a piece of graph paper with a few sentences about what he saw. The whole process was less than 20 minutes, but I assumed that a full report would be emailed to me (as my email address was confirmed twice as where to send documents). After waiting a couple of days and not getting my inspection report, I contacted Eastside and was told they would forward it to me. After a couple more days with nothing, I contact them again to which I eventually just got a digital copy of the invoice and nothing more. After contacting them a third time, I received an email shortly later claiming that I had "declined" the rodent inspection and "There will not be any additional report without a full rodent inspection at $195.00 plus tax ( you had purchased an Angie's list rodent inspection previously). Please let me know if you would like to schedule a full rodent inspection" In the end, here was my inspection: -The "trapping system" consisted of 3 wooden traps lined against the entrance to the crawlspace -The full inspection did not at all cover the exterior of the home or under the decks and consisted of just about 10 minutes in the crawlspace -There were no pictures taken and no written report -There was no proposal or quote for repairs I actually had used EE in the past on another home for this same service and felt happy with what I got. In this case I received none of that same service and instead was given an unprovoked, rude email stating that I somehow declined the service I paid for and would be charged double if I wanted them to do it properly.

Description of Work: We had/have rats on our property. They came and explained that under the terms of the "deal" they could not look in our attic space, but I convinced them to. They searched for egress points, but I don't believe they sealed any. I was not happy with the result.

Description of Work: Eastside Exterminators secured our home against pests, totally cleaned out our crawl space (which is quite large) and then replaced the crawl space insulation and moisture barrier. All of their employees are friendly, professional and hard-working. We are very please with how the crawl space turned out.

Description of Work: We used the Angie's List deal with east side exterminators. They were supposed to lay traps in all areas in addition to doing an inspection and sweep. They CLEARLY never went fully under the house. Apparently it was too uncomfortable for them? There are dozens of traps in easy to get to spaces, and ONE in the crawlspace that needed it, and that trap wasn't even baited. | |They were certain to provide their $6,000 bid for exclusion services. All we needed was a decent set of traps set down, and they apparently couldn't even manage that much.

Description of Work: Tony sprays all around my house and trees for ants. He was very helpful when he cut some branches of a tree that were touching my roof. Ants were using the branches like a freeway and coming into my house. It has taken several appointments but the ants are gone.

Description of Work: They did a thorough examination for the Angie's List price and presented me with a detailed analysis of what I needed along with costs and schedules. In checking them out, I found that they are the best contractor of this type on the east side. They got everything done on time.
