They did a thorough inspection, with a detailed report of the work that would need to be done. We haven't actually done any of the work, though, because our mouse problem went away by itself.

The technician showed up examined the house on where the rodents where getting in, they provided photos of "droppings" from from the rodents. I signed up to have the entry points sealed, which was an additional cost over and above the removing of any dead rodents. I also signed up for the additional quarterly spraying for insects The next time they came out no additional rodents where found. Overall they performed the job and sprayed the house, this was the 1st time I every needed to use an exterminator.

Representative provided us with a detailed report with a quote for $3,016 to fix holes around the house (gutter fascia, soffits, other random holes). Rep stated there were fresh droppings in the attic and set 4 traps in the attic. Two weeks later, we checked all 4 traps in the attic and they have not be set off. Thus I don't believe we actually have any rats in the attic, we are choosing not to use their services any further.

I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need a rodent inspection or any other work of this nature performed. They are untruthful and gouge you with unreasonably high prices. It started with a verbal quote over the phone at one price for the inspection and was charged more at time of service. Even though it was only a fifty dollar difference, it was the principle of telling your customers one thing and not following through. Get everything in writing. Then the inspector will put on a whole show of how bad your house is and quote you thousands of dollars for initial repairs plus maintenance fees. I got two additional second opinions the next day from highly rated Angie's List companys that came in at a third of the cost. If they already lied to me about fifty dollars, how can I believe their several thousand dollar solution is at all ethical? There are much better companies out there.

Jake informed me that the insulation in our home was not up to current code. He told me specifically what areas were insulated and what the inches were in insulation that we currently have. He answered all of my questions and when I noticed light coming from the attic ceiling he explained that I was seeing a hole in an air flow duct. He said they were made of rubber and it was normal to see some cracking over time. He went up on the roof to inspect the others and provided an estimate to replace all of them. Jake was very professional, covered his shoes and laid down a tarp under his ladder so my floors did not get messy. There was no cost for the estimate and he explained that if I wanted to go ahead with the work, I would have to put 25% down, which was fine with me. We scheduled the work date and time before he left. He was very kind to my dog too! I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again.

They don't come back to clean up the traps without a charge. So, my husband just went under the house and got the traps that were stinking at the garage. The woman that came out here was really, really nice and she did a thorough job. The dead rats that she did find, she disposed them. She was very thorough in explaining everything to me. It was going to be really expensive to get any additional work done. They wouldn't come out to clean the traps unless we signed a service agreement or they charged us however much to come clean them out. Nobody told us that it was going to cost for you to come out and take care of the traps that you set. I didn't want the rats under my house. My garage stinked so bad and I was pregnant. It was maybe a little bit of a bait and switch type of thing.

They plugged the likely entry points and we haven't had anymore visits. Overall excellent, would use again.

They were great - came out within 2 days of calling them. Friendly, professional and quick, Their scheduling process was great - gave us a 1-hour window and showed up on time, even on a Saturday.

I got a second opinion and the person said I didn't need any work done at all. These guys are trolling for dollars.

I've worked with Eastside before, which is why I called them again this time. While I have no idea if their pricing is in line with other providers, I know that they're going to show up on time and do the work they've contracted to do. They spend an awful lot of time explaining the whole process and they appear to be really thorough. The last time I had them do this work, we remained mouse-free for about 4 years, which is all you can really ask. Here is the thing about Eastside (and probably every other service like this). They really want to sell you their ongoing trap service. I'm sure that's where they make the most money. So far, I have refused. It doesn't make sense to me policing the rodent population outside my house, nor do I feel responsible poisoning rodents who may be eaten by owls or other predators. However, they are very clear that they do not guarantee their work past the first few months if you don't buy the service. Really, that's fine with me. Like I said, last time they did exclusion work, I didn't have more mouse problems for about 4 years. In that time, I would've spent at least 3 times as much on their service as I spent on the exclusion work this time around. I'd rather do exclusion work every 4-5 years than pay monthly fees. Furthermore, I don't have an expectation that my life will ever be entirely rodent-free. This is the price I pay for having some acreage. I really like that the techs take pictures of the places that are an issue so after they are done with their inspection you can really "see" the problem instead of just trusting that they are finding and fixing things. They are very conscientious about this. When they return to pick up traps after the exclusion work, the new tech that picks up traps also double checks the initial work. I also used Eastside to do our crawlspace insulation replacement this time. They had recommended it last time, but I held out, and figured that this was a good time to do it. They were on time, fast, and very conscientious about that service as well. One more thing: they wouldn't take two Angie's list coupons. Even if I paid $99 twice, they only would accept the coupon for one service, not two. That said, after I complained about this, they did agree to give me a small discount on the crawlspace service, which was very much appreciated. They are customer service oriented, for sure. Bottom line: they are a responsible company who are responsive, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. Just don't allow yourself to be overly alarmed by the presence of rodentia in the world, and you'll be less alarmed by what they find in your house :-).

We saw a mouse in our new house, so we called Eastside to come take a look. They were friendly, professional, and very thorough to the point of scaring me a little with thoughts of being overridden with mice and rats. Their estimate also scared me: thousands of dollars to mitigate the scourge to the nth degree. Before I spent almost $8000, I got a second opinion. The second company did a similar inspection (for free!), and handed me an estimate that was less than $2100 to do the necessary stuff, not all the nth degree stuff. I will keep an eye on the nth degree details, but I'm glad I didn't fall for the over-the-top solutions from Eastside Exterminators.

Walt and his team were right on time which was very appreciated since I had to leave work a bit early to meet them. They were extremely professional, quick and very courteous. They were were respectful of someone who was clearly afraid of the hives. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

Was punctual and on time. However, the service seemed pricey- especially since a month later we were beginning to see spiders again. They had offered a monthly service but I never received a contract for it, despite calling multiple times.

I was given a diagram of all the entry points to my house along with a cost estimate for Eastside Exterminators to take care of all. The traps left behind were my responsibility unless I signed a contract.

The work went very smoothly. All the technicians seemed knowledgeable and were very professional I signed up for bi-monthly maintenance program including spraying for ants, etc.

I have used Eastside Exterminators regularly since Sept 2015. The representative Max is who came to the house and assessed what needed to be done. Since then I have called a couple of times and Max has always come and been very honest with me about what is going on. I trust Max to tell me the truth and have found that he does - even when a previous service hadn't held up - he took the high road and owned it and fixed it - then came back and inspected to make sure it was holding and done correctly.

I contacted this provider as they were referred to us by a different company and they had good ratings in Angie's List. The crawlspace work they did and the exclusion work were of decent quality (this is why we are giving them a C on that aspect). One of the problems with this company is that they WILL NOT provide any warranty on the work they do unless you sign up for a full year contract to do maintenance on rat traps set around the property. When they did the work, we were initially quite happy, until we later discovered that one of the days they came, they made us sign a piece of paper that "looked" like just for the service of the day, but in fact, we were getting ourselves into a full year contract from which there was a huge penalty to get out. Since my husband was in a hurry and needed to leave, he didn't read the paperwork, and the guys didn't really tell him at all what he was signing... Had we known this at the beginning, we would have contracted a different company. Additionally, they overbilled us for the initial payment and, even though they were not supposed to come in for two months after the first service, they came almost a month early so they could bill again. In their report they claimed to have replaced the bait, when in fact they did not. When they completed the work that day, they left a note that we were having other pests and that they would be very happy to charge us more to take care of them. Well, it turns out that other great service providers out there will do the FULL service including all pests for less than what they charge! We are now working with one such company and happy with them. They also have poor customer service, when I complained about what was happening, my concerns were never once acknowledged and I was just being told that getting out of the contract would cost me. Guys, how about you try to do something to retain customers instead! My advise for anyone looking for someone looking a provider to do these services is to go with a different company that actually provides warranty for the crawlspace and insulation work, there are several of those companies out there, and for the pests, go with someone else, you will get better pricing and service elsewhere!

The upsell to do exclusion work was over $1000 and took only a couple hours of tech time. I feel the price was exorbitant. I will not use them again.

I was as thrilled as it is possible to be with an exterminator. They were professional, friendly, well spoken, and kind, because I was so freaked out and squeamish with the rats and raccoon poop. Best of all, they did not try to up-sell me to some maintenance package. I have recommended them to many, many neighbors. These guys are GOOD at what they do.

They were very professional and thorough. Great feedback and a very detailed plan were given to fix the rodent problem.
