Eastside Exterminators

Very well. Would have her (them) again. Repair for soffit screening, etc. was done by their work crew that week. They also put traps in the attic after the repair work was done and came back to check. No rats and this was to confirm all the entrances for the rats had been found and repaired. Those traps are still in the attic and will be checked on a schedule to be set up. Bait traps were also added to my own which were helping but not an adequate number. They will set up a schedule (I think every 3 months) to check traps in attic and outside.

During our kitchen remodel we were informed that there was evidence that a critter tried to access the main living area via the crawl space ducting. We called Eastside Exterminators , finding them in Angie's list. They were offering a discount on critter abatement.while performing the abatement we were informed that much of the ducting and insulation in the crawl space had loosened and was sagging. We also had them seal the aluminum ducting and rehang the flexible heat ducting runs as well as replace the ground vapor barrier. Work was done on time with minimum interruption to the remodeling project. Our inspection as well as comments made by our remodeler convinced us that there work was very, very good.

Pleasant and capable lady did a good job of educating me. She put out the traps and showed me where the rats were gaining access. I was surprised to learn they could get through an opening as small as a one-half inch. Since my house is built on a post and beam foundation, I decided to just maintain the traps since there was no way to keep them out of the crawl space.

There were discussions over the phone and in person shortly after then about what could be done to gain access to the other half of the square footage and finish the work. That took place in the month of October. After that, nothing. No communication, no further scheduling, no specifics about how to complete the job or what else may be involved including costs. Just perpetual bills stating that we owe the full amount and that we are past due. They want to get out of doing work at this point and overcharge us for incomplete work. I have tried to contact them and explain the situation in detail -- it is as if they 'forget' every time I speak to them. I have offered to work out a compromise deal where perhaps we just pay a pro rated amount if they are unable to complete the job. They just keep saying that they will get back to us, and then we hear nothing again.

The inspection was very thoughtful and thorough. However, because we bought the "deal" from Angie's List, I wasn't sure what to expect. Although they only charged the $99 for the inspection and placement of the traps, they effectively force you into having work done, because they won't pick up the traps again until you have completed "exclusion" work. Also, she gave me an estimate for replacing our crawl space insulation. I had no idea this was in the scope of work, however, it was good to have been given the option. She thoroughly (and I mean thoroughly) explained the work that would be done. It took about an hour of looking at forms and fuzzy pictures, to get through. All in all, this was 4 hours, and I hadn't allotted for that much time. However, I'm glad they were so thorough. That said, they came out and did the exclusion work the work following week, and it was an all-day affair. They appear to have done a great job as I haven't noticed any mice issues since then. We did not choose to have the insulation work done as it's very expensive, and we wanted to see how well the exclusion worked. Another thing people should know. What they really want you to do is sign up for their ongoing service. Every person I talked to at the company tried to talk me into putting their bait stations outside of my house. I've got no desire to poison all the rodents in the area, and they were shocked at this. That said, I was able to say no successfully :-). All in all, I was happy with the quality of their work, and would hire them again (and may do so for the insulation replacement). I gave their estimates to another contractor we work with and he felt it was fair pricing.

First let me say, they were highly recommended to us by our new neighbors! Eastside is Great! Very quick to respond, responsible and nice. Had one incident with removal of crawl insulation, but the issue was addressed immediately and resolved quickly. Home smells better, and is soo much warmer now that it has been brought up to curent standards! They are willing to take you in and show/explain every step of the process and the before to after is amazingly different. If you are uninterested in getting insulation all over yourself or being "hands on" they are happy to take digital photos to show you. I realize the price tag is high. The (unfortunate) reality is -if you need to have this extensive amount of work done, for our size home , it is the going rate. Not thrilled with that, but it is not their fault. We will continue to use them for our pest control to insure this never happens again while we live here.

They did a wonderfully thorough inspection.

The first guy to come out and do the work did OK, but he definitely did not do somethings and some of the things that he did were not good. But, the company scheduled a follow up inspection. The inspector found one or two things that needed to be done, and agreed with me that one thing that was done was not good. So, he scheduled another time to come out and he fixed everything.

FOUND ON ANGIESLIST - our neighbor uses and recommends this company plus we always like to use a "local" company when ever possible. called up & spoke to the scheduler, they sent their employee as opposed to a sub contractor. their agent/technician showed up on time and did the job " preventative outdoor pest control spray service" as agreed upon in advance. we visited their informative website and actually used a on-line coupon that we printed off for a discount. we have another home in mesa arizona where we have the same treatment done 2X a year. it's 1/2 the cost in arizona for a similar sized property, i don't know why it's more expensive here. this is the 1st time that we are using EASTSIDE and we will probably use them again.

It went great. We were really impressed at how thorough the inspection was and what detail Wendy included. After the service, she provided us with choices for further action. We will have the damages repaired and put protection up so that this won't happen again. Perhaps next year we'll have the insulation replaced.

The woman who first took my call was very helpful and scheduled an apointment for us at the earliest time available. When the serviceman arrived he examined around the house, identified the type of ants that we had and explained how the colonies are formed. He then sprayed around the house and made an appointment for another visit. We have not had any ants since. At no time was I ever pressured to use the services. I would highly recommend Eastside Exterminators to anyone.

We have been pleased with their service. They will come out if anything comes up between visits.

I don't have the best impression of him as of right now.

They have different employees, some are better than others, so it just depends on the person. All their work is A and B work though.

East side came in and found the problem and corrected it and controlled the problem. They come in and fix the problem and make sure the problem does not come back. They always find the root of the problem. They don't waist your time.

They had same day service which was awesome. They answered the phone early and that was before 8am. Tony was the guy who came out and he was extremely thorough. I pointed out one part of the house to him where I seen the wasp and he checked the entire house and found some additional problem areas and there was no extra charge for those. He sprayed for everything. They gave me a time frame and they called me ahead of time and told me he was going to be late. He didn’t wait until the time frame was over and then call me; he let me know ahead of time. He called me again when he was on his way so they were good about letting me know when they were going to be here. The price was competitive for the service I got.

I really like them. We've used them for quite some time now. Their reasonable and their local. I will continue to use them in the future.

They are also really good about rescheduling and accommodating to my needs.

We hired Eastside Exterminators a year after we moved in because we could hear mice/rats in the attic crawl space and were starting to smell pee in the room below! The quickly found the place the critters were entering - a vent with a large hole in the screening. They repaired that with material that could not be chewed through, and covered in similar manner all other ventilation holes into the attic. They set traps in the attic and caught several animals, which they removed on subsequent visits, and rebated the traps. They also suggested we trim back some of the branches overhanging the roof to limit access, which we did. They suggested setting up baited traps around the perimeter of the house, which they did for us, and we strted a regular treatment plan - they come every two months and rebait the traps, telling us how much bait has been consumed since last visit. This program has worked beautifully. After a couple months, there were no more rats in the attic and they stopped checking there, but left one trap, just in case. We don't think any have gotten in since. A service person comes every two months and services the outside traps whether we're home or not, and leaves a bill. We have kept up with the service because we have bird feeders which drop food and attract more than birds.

I have never had problems ever since they started doing their work. They are excellent. Their price is average, and their quality is excellent.

They did a good job. They charge too much.

We have used them for years. They are generally very reliable. We have used them for rodent elimination, and for ants which were in our crawlspace. We ended up doing a complete crawl space clean-out as a result. They also did regular exterior spraying for a wasp problem. Their rates are competitive with other companies. Their quality of work is excellent. They are punctual, responsive, and professional. We would use this provider again.

Omar came out and fixed everything expertly and proficiently. He was always on time and professional as well as pleasant. I would defiantly ask for him again. Hopefully it will not be necessary.

The job went well and was completed on time. They did accidentally disconnect my satellite cable but they came out in a timely manner to resolve the situation. They office staff was friendly and easy to work with.

They are contracted by the complex that we live in so they serve the whole complex. They have always responded promptly and have done the job that we have asked them to do at the price they quoted. We have had them come back one time but overall we are pretty happy with them. They are reasonable and they have always been on time.
