The first time they tried to get rid of the racoons did not work. They had to come back.

After the area dried out there were no ants remaining and I was able to have the siding and the soffit repaired.I was very pleased with the service provided by Stop Bugging Me Pest Control.

Technician showed up on time and performed the requested service with no issues. Very pleased.

fore I talk about the negative aspects of Eastside, I do want to mention that I think their exclusion work is high quality. It's been two years since my experience with them and I just had a rodent inspection done by somebody else. They said that the crawl space looks clean and great, and that the exclusion has kept everything out. So even though I didn't have a 100% positive experience with Eastside, they did do a good job on the exclusion and the installation of the insulation. Part of my problem with Eastside Exterminators & Insulation has to do with the fact that the man who came to do the inspection and estimate-- Dan-- seemed out of sync with the company itself. He promised, for example, to take my husband on the inspection with him and maybe even help us do the re-installation ourselves if we didn't hire the company. However, on the day of the inspection, he never called me but went to the site alone (we were in the process of moving in at the time). I talked to him just as he'd finished the inspection. I was mad. He felt bad, I guess, and waived the cost for the inspection if I hired the company to do all the work. I hired the company without getting any other quotes from other companies, although I did enough research to realize that Eastside's exclusion work is the best out there. The clean out and exclusion went very well. The two men were professional and thor Three points of disappointment about the finished work: 1) The ground vapor barrier looks a bit loose, but maybe this doesn't matter. It has proven effective enough, so I won't nit-pick any further. 2) The insulation above had no vapor barrier on it, which is something Dan had promised; I went ahead and authorized them to continue without it, however, as using insulation with a vapor barrier would up the price and delay the project. 3) I'd also been told they would lay cement at the crawl space entry, but because there was already a partial cement barrier there, they didn't do it. The work was done within just a few days, and I was glad that Dan had given me a coupon for 10% off the entire service, along with offering $500 off for having all the services done by their company. As new homeowners, this saved me quite a bit of money. I paid them in full after the service was complete. However, months later, I got a bill from Eastside asking for the 10% back and the $500. I was shocked because I had paid them in full. I'd kept the receipts, though, and after a few phonecalls and an email of the scanned receipt, they let the debt go. Wait for it. . . . A few months later, I got another bill! This time for the inspection Dan had done and waived for me. I called them and explained what happened. They explained that they don't normally waive the inspection fee, but that they'd have to let this one go as Dan no longer worked for the company. I wasn't really surprised by this. Dan had given me the impression that he thought Eastside overcharged for everything, which is why he not only waived the inspection fee, but promised $500 off, and slipped in a 10% off coupon as well. I'm glad I didn't pay the company one cent more than I did, because the company left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, but overall, their work was great, and they didn't pursue the payments, even if Dan was wrong to offer me so many discounts.

Quick and easy, everything went the way the tech said it would. the whole thing took less than 45 minutes

Everything went without a hitch. Spoke with Dave Anderson ( as stated we should on Angie's List). Appointment was made right away. Jon V., our tech was on time and professional. We had an existing problem that he made sure to take care of and sprayed around the rest of the house. The entire experience was great and Jon explained some things that we hadn't understood about the wasp while he continued to go after them. We haven't had any problems since. We took advantage of the year contract , quarterly spraying, that was offered at the same quarterly price. Thanks to all.

Purchased service as part of Angie's List Good Deal.

It went very well. The man arrived on time, as had been agreed upon when I scheduled the service. I showed him around the house and also the areas where we had problems (the small sand mounds that were left by the ants). He sprayed all along the outer perimeter and along the perimeter of the garage as well. When I saw the sand mounds and a few ants a few weeks earlier, I had sprayed the area with a commercially available can of insecticide. It killed the ants that I sprayed, but there were probably a lot more underground. The man explained how the spray that they use is intended to be transferred from one ant to another as they come in contact with one another, so with the spraying by Eastside Exterminators I now feel that the ant problem has been solved completely. I had also found a single small wasp nest which i told him about (I merely threw it down and destroyed it). The spray used by the Exterminator contains a combination of insecticides so it should take care of any wasps too.

As far as I can tell, well.

The entire process went quickly and efficiently. Within a couple of days, no further sign of insect activity was seen.

We did not have pests. Nonetheless, they set traps just in case, make recommendations for things for us to do and gave great reports.

Outstanding..and easy transaction.

While the company was on time and spent about 2 hours doing the inspection, they failed to remove the dead rodent bodies from the crawl space. They place bait and bid but the fact that they didn't remove the bodies as part of this inspection was a key reason for not selecting them (along with a high cost).

As stated above, the work was done well and follow-up was done as well. I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone with a pest problem in the area.

He was really loud and he became very pushy after i decided not to get the ongoing extermination inspection. They tried to sell me a deal when i had them come out to do other things. He kept calling me to see if i would do it. He was very pushy and i did not appreciate it. However, i was satisfied with the workers who came out and sealed the crawl space. They did a great job.

I used East Side Exterminators twice. I used them on a house that I sold and in my new house. They did an excellent job. They were very professional. They were on time. They left the house fairly clean. They did a complete job.

They arrived when scheduled, put on shoe covers whenever they came inside, and were both pleasant and knowledgeable.

I feel cheated. The company charged $99 to come out and check for the rodents that were getting in my crawl space. I then paid an additional $400 for them to set traps and screen areas where the rodents were entering my house. I was then pressured into getting bi-monthly service for traps that were placed in my rear yard by telling me the price would be $85 but if I signed right then, the price would be $65. But what they really wanted was to Insulate my crawlspace at a cost of over $2500--without even a picture because the inspector forgot her camera.

They came out few days after I purchased the “Big Deal” and the work went fine. It’s just a straight forward service.

My experience with them went well, but we decided not to go with them. I cannot remember why, but it was nothing. I think we went with other company, and it was because they have had slightly more services that we wanted. They were very quick and responsive. In addition, their quote was reasonable. Still a lot of money, but it was reasonable. It was just a normal experience with them. The salesman came, and he was very nice. We had some questions because I think there had been one or two negative reviews on them. We asked them a lot of questions, and he took a lot of time answering them for us. We just went with the other company because they did a little bit more of what we needed, and also because they had puget sound energy rebate while this company did not.

I purchased the pest inspection a few weeks ago. I was not ready to have them come to the house right away so I scheduled an appointment a few weeks out. They came promptly at the appointment time which was a Saturday morning. I showed the exterminator the 3 attic entry points so she went up all of them with her ladders. She took pictures and told me that she saw evidence of rat droppings up there. She said that she did not find any vermin in their presently. In the end, she set up 12 traps and provided 2 estimates. Estimate #1 Cleanup and re-installation of damaged insulation in one attic for $900 Estimate #2 Close out all entry points to prevent vermin entry in the future for $1500 I don't know if these estimates are high or not. I am considering getting the work done but will likely seek a second opinion. I feel that for $99, they did a good job with the evaluation + emailed pictures.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Eastside Exterminators & Eastside Insulation. It seemed to have an immediate effect because there were no longer any signs of activity. Their work seemed to be satisfactory and effective.

I purchased a Big deal for Eastside Exterminators. We were having problems with rats getting in the house. I believe we were treated fairly, they were very thorough with the work they done. They followed up on the service and now we have them come out quarterly. They have done better work than others that we used in the past. They set traps and repaired the holes where they were getting in the house.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I was a little unclear as to what they were offering before they came so I was not really happy with what they ended up offering. I could have gone and purchased the rat traps myself. They gave me a bid for what it would cost to clean out the whole issue but it was way over the top based on further research that I did with other companies. So, I never took their bid but I did pay for the evaluation. I ended up having another person come out and they cleaned up the whole thing and charged about one-sixth of what this company was quoting me. The company I ended up using said they would not have charged me for the evaluation. The woman who came out from Eastside was considerate and professional.
