Casa Bonita

The experience was fair. They did a good job of painting but they worked slowly.

My house was unbelievably clean! They arrived on time, my husband left for work, they were here for 3 hours, and the house was spotless. My babysitter called me at work and said the house looked like a hotel room! The bathrooms were scrubbed, the cabinets had been detail cleaned, the stove top and dials were detail cleaned. The floors were vacuumed or mopped, the couches were vacuumed. I left sheets out an they changed the sheets and they dusted. The only minor issue was, it took a few phone calls to get the cleaning scheduled. I had originally emailed then through Angies list, and never heard from them. Then I called the office and left a message, and I had to cal back again, because they hadn't returned my calls.

We don't have them as house cleaners, but I would if I did not have one already. We have had them for windows, roof, yard work. Their landscaping crew is amazing. We also use them for painting. They painted the exterior of our house. They are awesome!

Scott did a wonderful job! Very professional, clean and polite. The appointment was easy to make, they showed up on time. Moved the furniture, did a great job with the paint. White ceiling/grey walls - the ceiling/wall line was perfect! I will definitely use them again!

Went smoothly and quickly. Very pleased with results and will be using again.

Needless to say we're been using Casa Bonita for most all of our projects related to our home. The first time I met Scott and Martin they came out to rip out kitchen cabinets for an install that was to happen by Costco the next day. There were multiple problems with the walls, the measurements for the new cabinets, etc. Scott and Martin stayed until almost midnight to make sure everything was done correctly and ready for the next day's delivery. We were so grateful. Our deck built by Martin and his crew is beautiful. Martin has been our go-to guy at Casa Bonita ever since. He's professional with a warm personality and wicked sense of humor BUT...he's a craftsman and he knows his work. Brett's yard work have also been great. They keep our yard looking clean and manicured. Housekeeping services are also performed by Casa Bonita for us. Their girls are the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially after dropping them for awhile and trying other companies. If you have a problem with any work done by Casa Bonita they will do everything in their power to make it better. They are our go-to company for just about anything.

Inquired about yard work, weeding. Was told to expect a quote via email. No response. I am not far from their listed address, thought they might still be interested in the job. I called back a week later to remind, was told to expect a phone call. Still no response. Waste of time dealing with this outfit.

Purchased a Big deal for Casa Bonita for 8 hours worth of service. I had them come to the house and do some touch up on the paint on the inside. They did a nice job, showed up on time.

The person did excellent work. He was able to straighten out a wire that was misrouted and outside of the hole going through the 2x4, which would not let us drywall over the top, so he moved it, and then drywalled a portion of a room. He understood what my husband wanted, but my husband didn't tell ME what he asked him to do, so I got a little excited about why my husband would have asked him to drywall a room when another room wasn't finished. Poor guy probably thought I was upset with him, but I was actually upset with my husband, and my husband had left already, so wasn't there. I think the poor guy ran out as soon as he could. If they would come back for any future jobs, I'd be happy.

It went great. The handyman worked hard and efficiently. He got everything done that I had on my list, was professional and friendly.

The crew transformed the yard while working for two days in the rain.

The work was estimated quickly. The work was done carefully and thoroughly and changes were made on the fly as more spots needing attention were found. The painter who did all the work spent almost three full days and was very careful and polite. I plan to use Casa Bonita for both this kind of maintenance as well as major painting projects in the future.

Overall, it went alright. The person who came out and looked at the rooms advised that a bed in one room should be no problem to work around, and that, should the painter take additional time to finish the job, there would be an extra charge. As it turned out, the painter either had to, or felt he should, move the bed into another room. This added about $65 to the cost of the job, which would have been more had I not advised the painter that I'd clean up after him, as I had a meeting to attend. That said, the work was done well, with both the walls and ceiling painted professionally and completely. I would use this firm again, but only after getting a firm quote for the job.

The work was wonderful, an excellant job. He arrived on time, got the job done and was willing to stay late if it was needed to finish. It was a great experence and we will be happy to use Casa Bonita for any future paint jobs.

They have a very good service, a little expensive but very good.

When they came out to give us an estimate we explicitly asked for a "deep cleaning" in the kitchen as the oven, stove and pantry were extremely grimy. They said that they would make it shine and that the grime was no problem. We asked if the 18 hours of work they quoted was enough for such an extensive cleaning of the kitchen, and they said they should be within an hour or two of the estimate. We thought the $34/hour price was a bit high compared to some other housecleaners we had spoken to, but we felt that they must be thorough because of the price and positive Angie's List reviews. We thought that if the kitchen would shine like they said, then the money would be well spent. For the cleaning other than the kitchen, I'd probably give Casa Bonita a B grade. A bit pricey and not perfect, but adequate. For the kitchen, however, they get a D and that's only because they did a B job on the stove. The oven and pantry looked like it had either been missed or wiped with a wet cloth at best. We contacted them to say that we think they missed the oven and pantry, and they were nice enough to send a team out this morning to take care of the issue. When they looked at the oven they said it was too dirty to clean. They did a light clean which removed none of the grime. My husband said that the glass on the front of the oven can surely be cleaned with some elbow grease. While one of the cleaners was getting a pumice stone from their van, my husband grabbed a sponge with some dish soap and proceeded to scrub off 90-95% of the grime in 5-10 minutes. I could have lived with the inside of the oven being less than spotless, as it surely would take leaving cleanser on it for some time and a lot of elbow grease, but it was difficult listening to "professional" cleaners tell me it was too dirty and couldn't be cleaned. It sure would have been nice to hear that before they took the job, as I would hired someone else if they said this up front. We feel like we received the "bait and switch" routine on this deal. They left this morning after cleaning less than half of the pantry's wire shelves, wiping down the oven and convection oven again (which accomplished nothing), and wiping the dirt in some of the kitchen drawers out (but onto our floor!). We spent a couple of hours cleaning after they left, and I think there is at least another 2-3 hours to give the kitchen and pantry the "deep cleaning" we were promised. When they asked for payment, we requested they discount the price by the number of hours we were going to spend finishing the job. After reiterating that the house was too dirty to clean the way we wanted (yet were initially promised), they offered to knock one hour off the price. After much unpleasant back and forth, they finally agreed to take four hours off the original estimate (although they claim they spent 2 hours over the estimate so they believe they discounted the job by six hours). We are very lucky that we did not pay in full ahead of time or we probably would not have received any of our money back.

Our yard had gotten very overgrown because we have 3 young children and work full-time. I called Casa Bonita and one of their people came out and assessed our yard. They called and talked to me about what we wanted exactly and emailed me a detailed quote. I approved the quote and they came out within about a week to do the work. It took several hours, but the yard looks amazing! The invoice was for the exact amount we were quoted. The amount of work they did in several hours would have taken my husband and I several weeks to accomplish. Money well spent!

Contacted the office and left my name and number requesting a quote for repainting three rooms. Scott got back to me after 2 days and we connected and scheduled an on site evaluation within the following week. Scott was running a tad late on the date of the evaluation and called to let me know that. he arrived and was efficient in measuring out the areas. We exchanged emails and within 3 days I had an emailed detailed bid for the project. I made some adjustments to the space to bring it a bit more in line wtih my budget and then signed the proposal. Scott took a 20% deposit via credit card and I suuplied him with the colors I ahd chosen. Scott confirmed with me the colors as I had picked them from a idfferent paint company than he was using. Once we verified all was correct we set a date for the project... 2 weeks later. We made one minor adjsutment a week later to the schedule as he needed to finish up an outside job prior to the weather turning. I was not ina hurry and said it was fine to put me off a few days. His crew showed up on time and were very professional. They made a minimal impact on the space they were painting adn were very efficient with their time. The job took three days and each day the crew cleaned up their area thoroughly. At the end of the job Scott contacted to me make sure I was happy. The job was perfect, timely, and with minimal impact to my space.

Casa Bonita has always done and great job. The crews always arrive on time and work until the job is complete. Everyone is curteous and professional. Because I had a relationship with the company I didn't call anyone else for the clean up work that I needed because I new they would treat us fairly and get the job done.

excellent service; great communication and thorough performance

They showed up on time and worked for about 2 hrs then left while the primer dried. okay, sounds normal. I went up stairs to put my daughter to sleep and heard them come back. When I went down stairs there was an additional worker that I had not been told would be there. Tried calling the office , but no answer. I called Scott and on the second try got ahold of him. The worker was NOT his!! He explained it might be one of the worker's brothers?! Great - why was he in my house! As I was talking the phone got disconnected. (cell reception?) In between him calling back the workers let me know he was done. I went down stairs and was not pleased. No tape was used to prevent the dark paint from getting all over the walls of the kitchen! They also left a big spot bare by the bottom of one wall and the baseboard is not big enough to hide it. I inspected it after it dried and it was very blotchy . Scott told me it was because I had mentioned that I was going to paint that room at a later date that they felt they didn't need to tape. So basically leave the mess for some one else to clean up and do a sloppy job. I reminded him that I Also told him the point of doing this was so it looked GOOD until I had the time to paint the other half. They offered to prime the covered areas and the painter actually said he would paint the INSIDE of the wall so it would be a straight line-A line on the interior wall- middle of nothing ,with the dark paint,completely out of place!!! Maybe makes sense to some, but not me. I just wanted them out of my house at this point. Oh did I mention if they fixed the area with primer they still wouldn't be able to tape it since the paint was wet? needless to say I will not be hiring this company again. I am currently waiting for a call from Scott to tell me for sure who this "other person" was . if I don't - I got the license plate / make/ model of the truck and will be calling the police to make a report. So Dos - Do get Everything in writing- even the "common sense " stuff since it isn't always applied. Do keep a constant eye on this company at all times since they apparently bring "guests". Do check in with them very often and check their work as you go.knowing Spanish doesn't hurt either ( only one of the 2 spoke English) Do ask for a lien release at the end- again all bases covered. Don't hire unless you have some basic painting knowledge/ skills (I will be doing a LOT of touch up work later today) Added as of 5/9 Got a message from the manager, Scott and returned the call.while I am still very upset about the whole situation he had told me if I notified him as to HOW upset I was , he would have sent another team to fix the work. I admittedly did not think of that since I was so mad. I had already fixed the mistakes by the time I got back to him.While I do strongly dislike the team who did my job, I will change my over all rating from a d to a c since he did offer to help. The work however will stay the same.

The painting was wonderful and a very professional job. The supervisor was properly managing the worker to make sure all the work was done. The only thing the painting supervisor did wrong was use the credit card which I specifically used for my deposit only to make the second installment payment without my consent. The office called me and told me how difficult it would be to change it and forced/really encouraged me into leaving it like it was. The landscaping was a nightmare. The workers did the wrong work which cost me an additional $1500 to fix. When the workers said they were leaving for lunch and would be back, they never returned. I was told I asked them to do more then was expected. But even in front of me when the supervisor showed up, he told the workers what to do and they were still doing it wrong. When I complained, the owner who is also the supervisor's mother backed the supervisor and instructed me to pay the bill in full and we would all remain friends. There was no compensation for the wrong work or work that was not done. If you use this service, all the expected work must be written out in explicit detail. If you complain and wait for an adequate response, they turn over your account to a third rate collection agency in Olympia who has tried to bill be three times for a paid account. I finally got Chase Bank after them after the third round of harassing calls and haven't heard from them again. I believe was retaliation for a former review that I had done for Angie's List. A house cleaner had broken a crystal bowl while cleaning. I wasn't upset because accidents happen but it took several months and phone calls for the manager of the housekeeping services to provide reimbursement for the item. When I contacted them to do the painting and the landscaping, thinking every company deserves a second chance, my comments that I made on Angie's List was brought up. I would certainly recommend their painting and handy man services are excellent, however I do not trust the services of the management, owner Ann or manager of the landscaping services Brett and therefore would never recommend the company. In the Woodinville/Redmond area, there are better services which I have used.

They do everything, window washing, carpet cleaning and housecleaning. For us, it’s safe to say they will do everything. They even do ticket painting and power washing. For us anyway, whenever we need them they are there, even if they are over scheduled, they work us in. On price, they are not the least expensive, but I get what I pay for, and I would highly recommend them.

They were good and the price was fair.

They were very conscientious and they do things the way you want them. I will use them again in the future.
