This is the third time (and second property) that we have hired Dinu to refinish/repair our hardwood floors with outstanding service and results. Dinu and his crew are very knowledgeable about hardwood floors and the installation process, and are sure to tell the ins and outs of every detail that may come up. On both of our properties, we added new hardwood to existing, and the results were impressive. No noticeable variation from old to new hardwood at all. Many of our guests have had great compliments about the work performed. Plus, we are the happiest family with like new floors on our new home.

Dinu Luca is professionally certified in flooring installs, and his expertise was evident on this job. He did the install so that the flooring would stay in good flat condition at different humidity and temperatures. He came back to the site after the work was complete, to do touch ups, however, none were necessary. Dinu and his staff were professional and courteous and did very high quality work.

The crew performed all the work I requested, and it turned out exactly as I hoped. They were on time and easy to work with.

Dinu of ADL Floors is a consummate professional in hardwood flooring and a great pleasure to work with from the start to finish. At the time I met him, I was initiating a major remodeling of my newly-purchased home. One of the most crucial investments I decided early on was to replace the entire two floors of the house with solid hardwood. I took my time to speak to 4 different hardwood companies, learning about their trade as much as their work ethics, as I wanted to select the right company/person to carry out the job, and to have it done correctly the very first time around. I knew Dinu is the right person for the job after our first meeting. I am glad to say that I never once waver from that thought. There are simply so many reasons why I would highly recommend Dinu: - Dinu is very knowledgeable and highly-experienced in hardwood installation, as well as its ancillary issues (e.g., wood moisture, acclimatization, methods of wood repair). More importantly, he is very passionate about what he does. He is also a voracious learner who constantly seeks to improve himself by attending continuing education and certification classes throughout the nation, and as a result, you are assured that he is always updated about the latest happenings in his industry. - Dinu is dedicated to completing the job in the timely and methodical manner, and you can trust implicitly that everything will go smoothly without any reminders from your end. This is something I have an appreciation for, especially when I have to coordinate multiple other remodeling activities scheduled for the home with other contractors. He takes great pride and care in working around your home and performs all the necessary masking activities to contain dust. - Dinu is the owner of the company, but he is also always present at the job site and performs many of the activities himself. The commitment of his small team of crew is also very much commendable ? I have never seen a more skilled, conscientious and hardworking team of workers. - Dinu is patient and listens to any of your requests/concerns, as well as offers his advice/solutions to meet your needs. He is also willing to go above-and-beyond to help you out, even on non-hardwood related matters. I can honestly say he is a very great guy both professionally and personally, as he has been around quite a lot and we have had multiple conversations and interactions. The completed hardwood flooring is absolutely stunning and has received many compliments (I will let the pictures do the talking). I could not ask for a more gorgeous outcome for my first home and am very happy that ADL Floors has helped me achieved that.

Dinu was very responsive from the beginning onwards till the end of the project. He has a very good and reliable crew. The work was well done and he stayed within the given timeframe and budget. Dinu was also very good in matching some sample colors and the whole floor looks very good. We get a lot of compliments for the new floors and are very happy with the outcome!

ADL Floors refinished the hardwood floors in my 1960's era home. The hardwood in the bedrooms had been carpeted over so the carpets were removed before the refinishing. I would highly recommend ADL Floors. They were prompt, professional and did a fantastic job on the floors. It was a seamless experience with beautiful results.

It all began when our water filter in the fridge broke and water ran unabated for a couple of hours. The floors were completely warped and popped at a few places. After the initial mitigation and insurance claims , we asked Dinu to come over and provide an estimate of the fix. Our floors were on radiant heat so it needed somebody with experience and expertise in these kind of installations. Dinu was a perfect help in this regard. He walked us through all the things that were needed like type of wood , time to cure and long term feasibility. He also provided a detailed estimate of the whole work with timeline. Once we were able to get insurance approvals and alternate residence arranged, Dinu came up with timeline for the whole install. He went out of his way to help coordinate our storage , moving out and moving back in . Once the work began. his team was very careful to cover all walls/cabinets to be protected from dust . They made sure no trace of the work remained when they were done. Once the old floors were removed , they conducted moisture tests , made sure no trace was remaining before the new install was done. There were a couple of discoveries during the process and he was kind enough to accommodate those fixes without any additional charge. The work went smoothly as planned and even finished a week earlier than expected . The floors look amazing and we couldnt be happier. We highly recommend Dinu for this work

First of all, I want to thank Dinu and his guys for a great job! Dinu started the process by coming over for an estimate. He made sure he came over to fit OUR schedule which was nice. We have a busy schedule with kid stuff so he came over BEFORE we left for work...6:30am! His crew came over right on time as scheduled. I was a little worried the previous night. We moved out of the house so I pulled back the carpet to find a bunch of REALLY dark spots which others had told me can be a problem. When Dinu's crew came over, they took one look and said "no problem". To make a long story short, they were right. The floor looks amazing! They did a GREAT JOB within the time frame that was promised. Dinu is really easy to work with and his company does a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again for a job well done!

They were excellent. He is really really good. There was virtually zero dust. He shows up exactly the day he tells you and finishes the work on the day he said he would. His invoice was spot on there were no extra charges. The finished work is beautiful. I recommended him to a lot of people. He was not the cheapest but one of the cheapest right around. He is excellent.

Based on our experience working with ADL, we would highly recommend them to anyone. The owner, Dinu is very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. We really appreciated the information that he provided about options (staining, finishes, etc). Before starting he walked us through the entire process and agreed on a schedule. His team was amazing to work with - very professional. Each day they arrived as scheduled, worked hard all day and ultimately produced beautiful floors! At the end of the day, the team cleaned up their work area - a sure sign of a contractor who cares about the quality of their work.

Beautiful work. Sergey did an excellent job on my floors! Brought them to life just as I was hoping. He used quality products & told me what I needed to do to maintain them. Most of all, he was very conscientious of my timeline & had the job competed ahead of schedule. Price was more than reasonable! I recommend him without any hesitation!

Dinu was very professional from start to finish. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend ADL Floors. At the time of the measurement, he was very thorough and informative. He ask many question on what we were wanting to accomplish and gave several options on how it could be accomplished. He was also honest on what could and could not be accomplished and on what the final outcome would actually look like and what he could do to make it look the best he could. Example being our stairs had carpet on them with exposed edges that had aged over the years with sun light. He told us that no matter what he did, there would be a slight difference in color between the edges and what had been covered by the carpet. He was able to squeeze us in just before Christmas and get the job accomplished in 3 days (house was empty and I had removed 95% of the floor molding). The final product came out just like he said it would as far as color. although he was able to match the stairs really darn close. We are very pleased with the final outcome and will definitely use his services in the future.

Dinu was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He came out in person to give us a quote and to also do some moisture tests on the concrete as it was in our basement. I've had other moisture tests done in the past in other homes and his technique is the most accurate and trust worthy. His quote came back and was in the ball park and he seemed to have the best reviews on Angies list so we chose him. His services are in high demand but he was able to due our job in just a few weeks. His team of helpers arrived and taped off adjoining rooms, closets, etc to keep any dust out and went to work. They went to work and I kept checking in on them as I wanted to make sure it was going exactly as I wanted. There were a couple stairs he also put wood on and a vertical area under a fireplace. I could tell he loves what he does and chooses to do it properly. It took just two days to finish the job and when done they cleaned up very thoroughly. He and his helpers were punctual and very pleasant to work with. I'll definitely use him again when I redo other areas of the house!

We're very satisfied with the result - we selected ADL Floors over a competing bid as we felt Dinu of ADL treated our project as if it were his own. A new floor was required due to a water leak in the kitchen and Dinu strongly encouraged the water remediation team to dry the subfloor beyond the minimum industry standard; he also requested that we stage the new wood inside for 1-2 weeks to allow for acclimatization and also allowed several days between floor installation and applying the finish, for further acclimatization. We were impressed with the Bona (water based) finish, which had almost no smell and quickly cured. Dinu clearly explained the various aspects of different types of wood and the various grades available, that helped ensure we could make an informed choice on what to install. His team were all professional and polite, careful workers. They also helped carefully move some of our furniture out of the way, that which wasn't covered by insurance. We highly recommend ADL floors to replace or refinish your wood floor.

Had scheduled an estimate appointment with the owner Dinu for Monday 10/27/14 at 5:30. Took time to leave work early to be home for the appointment. At 5:45 called to check on where he was. Dinu stated he forgot to call to reschedule the appointment. Made several excuses about him purchasing a home himself and it took all his time. Made every effort to blame his wife for not reminding him to call and change the appointment. He knew on Sunday that he was not going to make the appointment but still did not call.

We are very pleased with the service provided by ADL and with the results. Dinu was on time, very meticulous and the floors look beautiful. We thought the price was quite reasonable. He went the extra mile to remove a spot and lighten some off-color boards. This saved us the expense of replacing boards. I was surprised at how little dust there was. The sanders vacuum the dust as it is generated. Nonetheless he covered all the spaces where dust might infiltrate. We stayed in the house during the entire process and the noise was tolerable. Overall, we were very pleased with ADL and would recommend highly.

Dinu promptly returned calls, texts, and emails. He was onsite each day and performed the work with his crew. Dinu is professional, detailed-oriented and is a true craftsman. He took the time to explain the entire process to me. And best of all, he is friendly and a pleasure to have in your home. You know when integrity walks through your door. He mixed and applied several stain samples directly to our floor to help us decide the color of the stain. He does not rely on wood chip samples or pamphlets. The floors look beautiful and the color is exactly what we wanted. I am recommending ADL Floors to all my friends.

Dinu stood out from the beginning even among the other highly-rated Angies List contractors. He responded first, visited to quote the job first, and called back promptly when I had questions. The other contractors showed up, gave us a quick quote and were gon. He was sincere and honest in his explanations, including being the only one to offer a commercial quality water based finish which cost a bit more but was a much better fit for us with our dogs. His team was on time, got the job done quickly with great professionalism and attention to detail. I would recommend Dinu and team without any hesitation.

Dinu and his crew did a very good job. They refinished my existing floor in the kitchen and installed new hardwood floors for all my other rooms. The project is actually pretty big, but Dinu's crew worked really hard and finished high quality work. We are very happy with his work. We already recommended him to one of our friends.

Dinu is well trained and seemed to have a great deal of knowledge about the craft. Dinu and his team were on time as promised, and worked super long hours to get the job done in three days. All options were clearly presented and the scope of the work carefully defined prior to starting. The floors look beautiful now after the refinishing job.

The team showed up as promised and finished on schedule. After running into a couple of snags they brought on some extra help to finish on schedule. The team was hard-working and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving. They were flexible enough to allow us to stay in the home, and in only one week the job was done!

They are prompt at getting back to us and professional. It will probably cost $3700-4000.

Dinu and crew were very professional and detailed in their work. Dust was not a problem as they blocked hallway with plastic and vacuumed as they worked. Craftsmanship was superb, Dinu thoroughly enjoys working with wood as a skilled craftsman. Knowing we had other junk to get rid of Dinu offered to haul it away when he was disposing of the removed carpet. Highly recommend for craftsmanship, detail and professionalism. Pricing was in line with big box and below discount flooring quote.

We felt Dinu knew his wood, knew the job, and was a master craftsman. He worked hand in hand with the distributor we had chosen, and was "on top of" the project every step of the way. He also was familiar with the finishes we had chosen. We have two round walls to which he skillfully installed the base shoe - I wouldn't have had confidence in the other installers we interviewed. He and his crew were punctual, hardworking and respectful of us and our property. Although the area was barricaded with plastic, we opted to pay substantial extra for Dinu to use his dustless vacuum. In my estimation, it was worth having to wipe down only the lower 1 foot of our walls. In the scheme of dust - that's very little. He has invested in other professional equipment - for example something to move the refrigerator over the floor to its home without chance of scratching the floor. We weren't home to watch it work, but we saw it. Dinu's estimate was in line with the other 3 estimates we received. Yes, we would use ADL again - hardworking, trustworthy family man with good crew!!!
