Re-Done Green Construction

When the person showed up, he was so new to the company, he had no idea what he was doing. I wanted to upgrade the backsplash and he did not bring any samples. I had to call him back to show up again and he did not bring the correct samples, he only showed samples for how the edging was going to look and gave me a link to a website. I did not hear back from them in 3 weeks, so I called them. They told me that they ordered the samples but they did not give me a price. I have still not heard from them and it has been at least 4 weeks.

It went over the Big Deal purchase price because we wanted a different type of ceramic tile. They did a great job. He was really helpful to narrow things down. It ended up looking really nice. He did a good job and gave me references on where to get tile at a decent price. He was a good communicator. I'd use them again, if I needed them.

It was fine, we got a lot of good information. He was very good and knowledgeable.

They were extremely slow. Work began on October 8 and was finally finished January 2. It was a simple job, but they took forever. They left the barricade up around the slabs and our mailman could not get around to leave our mail. When I called them about it, they said they had forgotten but they came right out to take it down. The work they did is beautiful and we love out railings, they are gorgeous. The time is took was just too long.

The service turned out great. They did a great job. It was very easy to schedule them to come out. We called them and they said they were available when we had time. They came out and took care of it. There was no additional cost. They were great and one could hire them with confidence.

It went very well. I didn't have enough stuff for them to do. They're pretty efficient. They did well for me. I didn't spend more than the big deal I purchased. They were quick and clean. The equipment was appropriate for the task.

They did a pretty good job, they came on time and did the job and I was surprised that they built the stairs back afterwords.

Arrived when promised. Worked efficiently. Completed all requested tasks other than bath fan installation for which he indicated would require an electrician.

I needed to have a few minor things repaired before putting our house on the market. I have used Re-done before and purchased their big deal for 8 hours of handyman service for $400. The guys showed up on time and ready to work. Tokyo only about 5 hours to complete everything.

It went mostly ok. There was one thing wrong and they came back and fixed it. They were prompt. They communicated well. They actually created a part for our cupboard.

It went fine. Rusty was very knowledgeable. I'm in a condo.

It was a very good experience. He also took care of repairing the wiring with a hanging lighting fixture.

My wife and I are very pleased with the results. They are courteous and professional, and the tile and grout work looks great. We would be pleased to use them for future projects and recommend them to others.

Andy and Rusty were punctual, professional and very dedicated to getting the work done in my time frame. I was updating my daughters kitchen over the long Thanksgiving weekend so needed everything to go as planned. They worked with me to accomplish a very long list of things I could not do on my own because of an injury. I purchased the handyman special and was pleasantly surprised to get two very hard working, skilled craftsmen. They were not daunted by my list and worked until everything was done. Andy took care to cover things when painting and made sure to vacuum up before he left. I will hire Re-done Green for all my future needs. I give them a 10 out of 10. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Thanks guys!

The company sent over a worker to complete the job. The first day he laid the tile with spacers and Schluter. Came back the following day to grout. After he had finished I noticed several areas where the gray adhesive showed through the white grout. In addition, some areas of the Schluter (edger) were covered with grout and some were not, making the backsplash look unfinished. I also noticed some tile pieces that were placed and cut crooked. I called and asked that he send the guy back out to fix the tile and the grout. The worker was not able to come back until three days later (which was fine). The worker did come back, added more grout and tried to fix the crooked tile pieces (this was after he forgot his tile cutter and had to leave to retrieve it). The tile did look more straight but still was not exactly right. In conclusion, the worker was personable and did try to fix issues that I brought to his attention. But, overall, even after the "fixes" the tile doesn't look as finished, professional and clean as it should since a professional was hired to do it (wasn't DIY). I believe that if Dale, the owner, had done the work, I would have been happier with the results. Dale initially did the on-site estimate, seemed very knowledgeable/experienced and did not give me the impression that it was not going to be him doing the work. One last thing, I purchased the $499 deal for under 40 square feet. After adding a few more feet (3-4 ft), upgrading to a urethane grout (who knew you'd have to upgrade to that), and using subway tile not huge 8x8 or larger tile, the price doubled. The final price of the job ended up being close to what another tile company quoted WITHOUT any discounts.

The contractor was a bit unresponsive over email or phone but they did an excellent job eventually and arrived and finished on time. Would hire them again for any other service in future.

My tenets did not want ceramic tile. Company was great.

The entire process went smoothly. Both Dale, the owner, and Mike the carpenter were professional and responsive. They weren't the least expensive bid, but it was a fair bid and were honest about what did and didn't need to be done in order to make the fence look great again. Mike did a great job filling in the rotted posts, installing a new rail, and the painting it.. Only time will tell how good a paint job it is. Hopefully, it will withstand the seasons. I was only surprised that they planned to apply one coat of paint over the old paint and primed areas. It wasn't specified in the quote and I never thought less than two would be used given the condition of the fence. With how much paint Mike asked me to pick up, we sure had plenty. I requested a second coat, but they happily did so (at an additional cost). Had I not, I would have been left with almost half of the paint. Next time I'll be sure to ask how many coats. I'll call on Dale again for any future projects.

I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, but I did not use him for that; I used him for a much bigger project.

My 1942 house is brick clad, had a "handy" former owner, and has settled a bit so jobs require both technical and problem-solving skills. This was a redo of confused work on a replacement window install started by previous person. First, the scheduler was informative and accommodating and got me on their busy schedule in time for painters. Next, the owner came out, measured, discussed, and gave me a shopping list which I asked for. He also told me how he'd approach my next project (jacking an uneven deck to match adjacent one so both can be waterproofed). Kevin arrived equipped and ontime and got right to work, frequently checking with me about placement, preferences, and to discuss possible solutions he came up with as problems arose. He was focused, efficient, accurate and done by the end of the day. He didn't try to complicate or expand the job as others have done recently and completed the job that day. Re-Done Green offers great service and value and I will hire them again soon.
