The work itself was done very professionally and to the highest quality. The company was undergoing some issues with backoffice turnover that resulted in a no-show at our first appointment and a greatly delayed billing for the work that was initially done. They appear to have solved their administrative problems and were very responsive in addressing some minor work that was overlooked in their first visit.

It is very poor customer service not to be responsive. If the company is too busy to get to me, just let me know. I called them because they did such a good job when I bought one of their introductory coupons. I was calling back now to schedule work for which they would have been compensated at full price. I would not recommend nor use this company again.
Description of Work: I requested an estimate for some small remodeling projects near the end of August. After two weeks and no response I called again and emailed. The company finally responded in early September and we scheduled an appointment to have their estimator, Bruce come out. Bruce came as scheduled on September 15, 2015, took pictures and told me I would hear from him within two weeks. I have never heard back from this company.
After ten days I emailed them to see if I had been forgotten. They replied that they were very busy and indicated it would take a little longer. It is now August 6th and I still haven't heard from them. Whatever.
Description of Work: I wanted them to complete a small retaining wall along my property line. Bruce, the estimator seemed fine when he visited me right on schedule on July 10, 2015. He said their "handyman for a day" should be able to handle it. He told me they were busy and the estimate may take awhile.

It was terrible. They promised me that the job would be done in five business days. It ended up taking six weeks to complete everything. They would be in my house until 9:30 at night to finish the job because they wouldn't come until mid-afternoon. We never got extra tiles like we were promised. We ordered them. We paid for them. They just never provided us the extras. It was just a really bad experience. I felt like the contractor was uncommunicative. He kept losing his sub-contractors or at least that's what he told us, which is why the work kept getting delayed. So, overall, a very poor experience. They were supposed to start first week of March and it ended up being the last week of March, when they actually came.
Description of Work: They were working on a kitchen remodel. We had them put in tile in our kitchen and then a countertop and then drywall over a wall.

We are extremely sorry for the delays, but we have no control of the supplier for the materials you picked out for your countertop. I explained at the time that it was out of my control and even gave the customer a free roof vent and some drywall patching for the delay that was beyond us.

Customer provided sub par material from a box store and our tile setter showed them this from the beginning. and explained that what they wanted with materials provided was impossible, but spent an extra day trying to do what was asked. Our tile setter did not leave until the customer was happy. The Angie's list deal was for a subway tile and not for thin glass tile which the home owner requested and supplied.

I apologize, [Member's name removed], for the miscommunication. I did call and leave a message on the Thursday before the holiday weekend. Then again on Tuesday. I did not want to pester you so I only called, and left a message, twice. If you are still interested in having our estimator come out I am happy to schedule that for you. Please give the office a call at 425-200-6327 if you would like to do that. Again, I am sorry for the miscommunication.

After purchasing our Angie's List deal we picked out some glass tiles and scheduled a date to have the tiles installed. Unfortunately, they just hired a new tiler and he came to our house and did an overall poor job of installing the tiles. We told Re-Done Green the issues and they quickly got rid of that tiler and had us reschedule to get the work replaced. They probably could have fixed the job immediately but the tiles we had ordered were out of stock. Eventually, we rescheduled and Re-Done Green brought in a new tiler named Polo and he removed the current tiles, leveled the walls, and installed the new glass tiles. The work done was fantastic. Polo made sure not to cut any corners and installed a very professional looking backsplash. We are very happy with Re-Done Green Construction and we will look forward to using them again in the future.

I used ReDone a few months ago and everything went so well that I decided to call them again, this time directly, since on Angie's List there was an 8-hour deal and I thought that I have max. 4 hours worth of work. They were reasonably prompt in sending the estimator (I had to wait a few days though), to whom I explained that I have handyman work in the house (hanging blinds) and electrical work and that I need clear pricing on these two categories, electrical being much more expensive. Two weeks later I called ReDone and asked where was my estimation. They promised to send it to me either later that day or first thing the following morning. Another week passed - no estimation, I called them again and left a message. Couple hours later they e-mailed me an estimation: everything bundled together, and incorrectly as such (counted 9 blinds instead of 7, etc.), not itemize at all, and the total price is 2,000!!!! No description what costs what! I called them back - they don't seem to pick up the phone ever, always leave the message, and e-mail as well, requiring estimation, but no response at all, none! So I take my "A" grade back and replace it with "D"... As of today, it was a month ago I requested work to be done, and expect a delated muddled up estimation I haven't received anything, AND I'm being ignored by the provider (hence "F" for responsiveness).

Customer wanted a laundry list of items done including a handful of handyman items, but then wanted a couple of electrical projects done that included drywall repair. The hours quoted was a reasonable amount of time for the project. We are sorry if it was a shocker but we have to pay our men and subcontractors.
Very professional, friendly and thorough in all steps of the process. He came out and analyzed what kind of expertise was needed for the jobs we had in mind and we felt the time was used very efficiently once the work began on the planned date.
Description of Work: Electrical- changed outdoor lights to motion sensor lights and added a string of lights near driveway. We also added additional work of carpentry inside for molding in a hallway and replacing a section of the fence that a branch had just fallen and broken at an additional cost

The service was good enough but I have a problem with the bill I received a month and a half later... The billed me for an extra hour and for materials where I provided all of, they also charged me tax where in the description states no where that the tax wasn't included. They were over an hour and a half late and when the 7 hours were up they basically dropped the tools and left which was fine and expected. Oh and it is two electricians for 3.5 hours not a single electrician for 7 hours...a journeyman and an apprentice. Once again not a huge deal but in a sense this lessens the value of the deal because an apprentice is not the same bill rate as a journeyman electrician.

They have been working on it for about a month. The work they have done has generally been pretty good, but they subcontracted through another party to do the dry wall and it was kind of a sloppy job. It did not get re-made so when we went to evaluate the work there were obvious problems. So we have them back in now to redo the work. It has taken them a lot longer than they originally said it was supposed to. People did not show up when they were supposed to. It got delayed by several weeks. We were getting new carpet put in so we had to push back the carpet installation because the job was not done on time. They are working to fix the problem but the delays and lack of communication is frustrating. The overall quality of the job so far is good.

The [Member name removed]s changed the scope of work several times and each time it was changed, it added time and as a result we had to schedule subs who were already busy. In this very busy environment, job coordination is very tight. We did our best to get people out to the job as fast as possible each time there was a change. I would like to give credit to our crews and subs who dropped what they were doing to work long hours, late hours and weekends to try and accommodate the [Member name removed]s.

The owner came out to our home himself, and provided us with a very through written estimate for the following: 2 bathroom restorations, some hallway drywall restoration work, several indoor painting estimates, & a hardwood floor replacement project for our powder room. The owner was on time, gracious, and well spoken. The estimate was sent to us (via email) within several days. Since we were going to move (at that time, one year ago), we were in the process of packing and such. Our written estimate was followed up by a phone call by the Company's secretary who was also very nice. In a nutshell, our elderly parents got sick so we had to postpone our move and therefore decided to hold-off on the remodeling . We let the company Secretary know this. Basically, the main reason we ended up not using this Company is because of our parents' illnesses , and because we decided not to move at this time. We still have all the information on file that this company gave us. We would not hesitate using them,at a more appropriate time when our parents do not need so much care.
Description of Work: The Owner drove out to our home. Measured all projects. Went over the projects needed. Sent us a written Estimate a few days later. Then the Secretary followed up the Estimate w/ a phone call. (SEE BELOW)

Folks who came out were real nice and got the job done quickly, even installing a ground fault circuit breaker I had that I didn't know how to replace. My only suggestion would be that they bring their own sticker/paper to list the information about the circuits instead of the teeny tiny one on my breaker panel (it was really small and hard to read).

It worked out really well. I was very satisfied with both the initial interaction in following up on my purchase and then quickly scheduling it to a time that worked for me. So, I was real happy with it. I don't think I have to pay any additional cost other than the big deal price of $299. I've never been billed. The two guys that came out to do the work were nice enough and pleasant enough. As far as I could tell, they seemed to know what they were doing. They got right at it. I was pleased with the customer service.

The gutter guy hung most of the gutter then said he couldnot find one of the parts and would return soon to finish the job. I called a couple of weeks later and he said he could not ffind the part. My husband said he had seen numerous appropriate gutter parts on the Internet and at Home Depot ust down e street. Redone green agreed to come finish the job if we'd get the part. They would call to schedule. They never did. When I called back, this time in February, the manager said they would make it right. Never heard back, so I called again in March, the manager told me he "would get to it when he would get to it!" Still hasn't happened. Over three months for a part to merge two gutters. Yeesh!

It took 2 people all day to install the doors. 1 person was late. A candle was knocked off of a shelf and broken. They did not really clean up after themselves. Some cutting needed to be done and the sawdust was still on the floor and they walked through it. The worst part for me was that when I looked at the bi-fold door there was an extra drill hole on the front of the door. When I asked about it he said, oh I drilled in the wrong spot for the knob but you can just cover that up when it gets painted. That was an incorrect assumption on his part as there was no plan to paint the doors.

Armando was punctual and did a very good job.
Description of Work: I had them remove four hollow-core doors and install four pre-hung solid wood doors.
The grouting and floor baseboard molding replacement done by Andy was fine, however, a DISASTER is the only way to characterize the follow on contract for tiling and painting of a stairwell. The only prompt action was Re-Done Green taking my credit card to charge for for half of the $1400+ bid. They were unresponsive to phone calls and emails and I understand this was due to turnover in their support staff as well as some medical issues. We were patient with them and finally got them to agree on a date to do the tile work on the kitchen because new appliances were scheduled to be delivered. They said they would send out their best tile guys and I was told the workers were perfectionists and the job would be great. From the time of down payment to scheduling was close to two months. Two workers showed up two hours late and ripped out the 60 square feet of wood floor and put sub- flooring down. That part was fine. When they decided to go to lunch, they both explained that they didn't have any cash for lunch because "it was close to payday and money was tight" and "my ex-girlfriend took money out of my wallet". I gave them each $20 after they promised they would bring money to reimburse me the next day. They never reimbursed me. The tile was laid straight and the transition between the tile and an adjacent wood floor is good. I asked them to put one piece of flawed tile underneath the refrigerator and they did not do that - they put it in the middle of the floor where it is most noticeable. The next day they showed up late again and grouted the tile. They left polyurethane grout haze all over the tile with footprints/boot marks and scraping marks showing on most of the tile. They splattered large chunks of grout on the walls and cabinets that I had to later scrape off. They splattered large chunks of grout on the walls and cabinets that I had to later scrape off. Their nail gun wasn't working and they glued the shoe molding in place with large gaps and ends not matching up at all. When I called the project manager about the issues, he said that the grout haze could be removed and he would send the worker out to fix it. More than three weeks later the worker showed up to clean the floor, however, the solution he was using did not work. He was trying to trim wood pieces of shoe molding with a box cutter. That didn't work either. I found out that the worker we originally had for handyman services had been let go. When I inquired about the part of the bid for painting, I was told that wasn't part of the bid. The project manager had to go look up the paperwork and determine that indeed it was. Given how unresponsive they were coupled with the poor quality of work - I decided to not have this company perform the painting or other work. I was given a discount of approximately $100 for my trouble with them but it won't cover the cost of fixing the floor or having the shoe molding installed properly. I am now looking for a painter and someone to do other work. This group may have done decent work in the past but right now they seem very unorganized and are unprofessional. I would not recommend them at all and their actions will cost me as well as it has shifted the completion time of this project which is frustrating.
Description of Work: We used the provider for handyman services on an Angie's "day special" to replace grout and floor baseboard molding in three bathrooms and one wall of a closet. We later contracted with them to then paint a stairwell and replace wood flooring in a small kitchen with 12x24 inch tile.
I have very mixed feelings about them. The work turned out to be very nice, but I had a problem with them. First of all, they were very friendly when I called the office and they sent someone out to look at the job and see how long it would take to do what I wanted. The man who came out was an electrician. When he was looking at it, we asked him that there is a recessed lighting to be put in our living room and he agreed and he added that to the list of things to be done. The office scheduled him to come out one day for the extra job and then a couple of days later the people who are going to do the job we originally wanted to be done were going to come. He never showed up. I waited for 20 minutes and called the office. No one picked it up, so I left a message that the electrician is late and we are waiting for him. But they never called us back. I spoke to them a week later to say how unhappy I was that he never showed up or even called us to inform that he is late or he would not come, but they were totally unaware of it. It is pretty bad that he did not come and they were not even checking the messages and call us back and check on him. The guys who were supposed to do the railing came and did the work later. They sent two guys since I had work for more than 8 hours. They were not prepared to stay back late since they lived far away from my place. They showed up only by 11'o clock. They worked till 5, but I did not feel that I got a full day work. The total work time for both the guys was 11 hours, so I had to pay extra for 3 hours. They did not bring any supplies. They got only their tools and one guy went out to buy the items that were required. The job was good. They did it exactly the way I wanted, but while doing the flooring work, I found some scratches in the hard wood floor which I was not happy about.
Description of Work: I called them to build a railing on the outside stairs and some flooring work in the living room.
