Description of Work: Contracted to do a banister. The work required a specialized integration of railing parts. They eventually called and said they could not complete the work to a high enough standard, apologized and refunded my money. I appreciated their candor and would consider them again in the future.

Description of Work: The labeling was not new labeling but erasing or writing over prior labeling which is hard to read in several areas. The service is misleading in the ad. Very friendly provider here with his son. If used again would want to be very specific with service needed and expectation of outcome matched their intended outcome. Also, would have it in writing. There was no home electrical inspection.

Description of Work: Rusty and his assistant (son - apprentice) added light fixtures to a bedroom and a living room - we provided our own light fixtures. He added the light switches to the wall and went up into the attic to make the hole for the light fixture. |They arrived on time and very time conscious ! |I would definitely recommend and hire them again!

Description of Work: We had several projects to be done. Fixing dry rotted studs, putting a screen door back together, replacing siding and fixing a fence and gate. All projects were done and he cleaned up afterward.

Description of Work: The Provider came out and we ran down an entire wishlist of "to-do's", they then came back with the estimate list they felt they could complete in the 8 hours purchased. Of that list, they only got to about 40%, and the items they did complete, were done sub-par, to a point where I had to go back behind them, and fix most of the "completed" jobs. They also took on the easiest of the items on the list first, so all the project I would actually need a handyman on, were left behind. While these tasks were items on our total project list that we were capable of completing, but had been at the remodel for so long, we just wanted a professional to come in and quickly get it done, I REALLY wish I would have just taken the time to do it myself, which is a very sad statement as I am not versed in home remodel, electric, etc. I will never waste my money on these type of "pay in advance" offers, as they could not care less about my home. What a waste of time and money. Do you know anyone I can hire to finish the jobs I paid to be completed?

Description of Work: I've had a laundry list of things to do: hang pictures, swap wall outlets, assemble and move furniture. Derrick and Armando did a great job, they were quick, efficient and attentive, managed to do a lot!

Description of Work: They repaired ceiling and wall spaces in a closet which had sustained water damage some time ago. The house is 1920's construction, and Re-Done did a very good job of repairing the damage without requiring a major tear-out and replace process. |They also replaced a bathroom countertop which had been damaged. The replacement job was done very well. I'm pleased with the workmanship. My only criticism - which is partly my fault for not requesting more input in advance - I wasn't consulted about the color chosen, just assumed it would be similar to the original. It wasn't.

Description of Work: "Dean," Director of Business Development, came to my home Dec. 2. I gave him a typed list of small handyman jobs, such as replacing one wooden step on the cedar deck or installing a new bathroom vanity with mirror & light fixture. He said he had to do "separate bids," that the whole staircase had to be replaced (not true) and the vanity was too big a job (not true). In the meantime, we have done some of these tasks ourselves. I canceled the deal with Angie's List.

Description of Work: Tile backsplash from Angie's List deal. Miss-communication between field and office meant they missed two appointments originally, but once here they did a marvelous job, and office very friendly and apologetic. Installer also friendly and personable. I understand they are working on the problem, some glitch in their scheduling program. Luckily I am flexible. Someone who had to take time off work might rate them lower. Because the workmanship is good, I hope they solve the organization issues before p****** too many people off.

Description of Work: They installed 3 new toilets and do some outside painting for us. Very detail oriented and professional. Supporting small businesses is important and I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Re-Done came out to measure and discuss scope of work, however, the scope of work included in Big Deal was insufficient to do my job. Dollar allowance for tile product insufficient to cover actual cost of tile needed so decided to go with tile contractor recommended by my general contractor.

Description of Work: I bought a deal was for 8 hours of handyman service and scheduled the appointment with the contractor for today at 8am. Around 8:30am today, they called me and said the handyman scheduled for my job had call in sick and they wanted to reschedule us for next Friday. I explained that not only had we emptied out the content of all 5 closets in anticipation of today's work (we planned to ask them to install closet systems), we have other jobs lined up next week that hinge on us having the closet systems installed today. The gentleman on the phone, Dale, was sympathetic, but said he couldn't send anyone out today nor the next few days. Due to our tight deadline and their failure to deliver service as scheduled, we had to go with another contractor. Dale said he understood and suggested that I obtain a refund thru Angie's List.
