 + 1 moreAnthony was very quick to respond, and even moved a couple jobs around to accommodate the time frame I had. He arrived when scheduled and had all the debris removed, and the area cleaned up in a very short time. Excellent job and I will definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Large pile of debris related to a home remodel and clean out. Over 500 LBS of material needed to be disposed of.

 + -1 moreI had to pay extra for being over the weight limit for items that were mostly metal........If I dd not have to worry about painters coming the next day, I would have thrown that stuff to the curb. Before people go over a limit, warn them so they can adjust. Once loaded on a truck is not the time to tell them they went over the limit. Also, how are they weighing the items? Initially I had made an appointment for September 2 for someone to come and haul the items away. I emailed the person the evening before to confirm and to find out what time the person was coming. No response. I waited until 10 am on Saturday then called to find out when the person was coming. His response was, "Uh, I decided to take the weekend off." Nice of him to let me know. Then we had fires in Oregon so Tuesday they had to cancel. Finally Wednesday (today) they were able to come out. Will never hire them again.
Description of Work: I needed metal walls to be removed from my yard along with wood items that had started falling apart. I was on a tight deadline because I need the house to be painted and needed to remove material that was blocking areas for accessing the house. I had moved most of the items off the house but one needed some help to pull it out. I also had some other metal items that needed to be removed but was told that was going to fall under the special handling (i.e., extra cost). After they loaded some of the stuff I had wanted to get rid of, they told me I was over the weight limit and it would cost more money. I was too frazzled to tell them to prove I was over the limit, but with painters coming the next day I paid the extra $60 on top of the $125 I had purchased. Normally I would not have paid extra -- I would have had them either prove the weight overage or would have had them take something out to be on top of the weight limit. Most of what they hauled away was metal. If I had a pickup truck I would have hauled the metal myself to a metal place.

 + -1 more3 guys showed up and were so fast . I paid extra to have household chemicals removed and that cost an extra $125. Which was a lot but I expected some additional cost and I had a lot. It cost them extra and saved me having to drive out to hazardous waste disposal.

 + -1 moreMostly well. I bought a coupon via Angie's list. The contractor got back to me very quickly, and scheduling was fine. On the day of, the driver called and was very attentive to timing, but I had anticipated arrival between 10 and 12, and he was not sure he could do that (which was a problem for me as I was taking vacation hours from work). After checking with the office, he said he could be at my house in 30', and then called me from somewhere in Portland (we live in Beaverton), not quite sure why we were not where he was. This would not have been more than a minor extension of the scheduling snafu, except that he said this was my fault, said "you should own it" -- but.... I had put in my address via the Angie's list coupon correctly, and told the original contact that our home is in Beaverton. I said, "well, no, actually, this was not my error, " and he backpedaled -- and after that, all was fine. They came, took the stuff, were thorough and very helpful, so in the end, all was good.
